    He ran a 4.46 at Nike camp and was State 55m champ, so he does have speed, but not ultra elite. He’s also a black belt in karate( no style mentioned). He’s done a lot of receiving, so Mccaffery is a good comp, but he’s not quite as fast or fluid. He was very productive, running for over 2000 yards as a Sr and >11 yards/ carry, 580 yards receiving and 43 TDs total. He’s not Barry Sanders, but has a good chance to be a very good college rb. If he continues to get bigger and faster at Clemson, maybe even a decent pro.

    The Lord detests double standards. I can't even judge a judgemental person without being judgemental myself. So. I have to give grace most of the time. I try to be understanding because being misunderstood isn't too cool. Theres another question floating around in my mind. If it bothers you does it make you the problem or is it what that bothers you in which the problem resides. We all try. But some just dont have it in them to try any harder for the present moment. And we all get caught with varying levels of patience throughout the day. I just hope a little love reigns where it's easiest for hate to sit a while.

    He has great speed but....when you play at the next level strength and toughness plays into your success. To be honest I think he should switch his position to wide receiver. I see great speed. He looks tall and he runs like a deer. I can see him playing running back on the professional level if he gets with the right program. Very interesting I want to see where he's at in about 2 years. His runner style was like my brother Durrell Moss out of California but he signed with Washington and he changed his position from running back to safety. And he was 6"2 220 and he had the same exact running style.

    Shipley is obviously faster than C-Mac was in high school. From the highlights, it's difficult to assess the shiftiness of Shipley- he seems like a one cut back. The one thing that elevates C-Mac above all other backs is his stamina. Play after play, McCaffrey is prepared to slip into the flat, run a seam, take a toss, etc.
    Comparing the two is apples to oranges. By the way, Bleacher Report ranked North Carolina #14 All-time in regards to high school football talent. McCaffrey came from Colorado (#26).

    • @rapidfiresports3326

      Solid analysis, I agree that at this point his top end speed is superior to CMC. From Shipley’s showing at the Charlotte Opening and going through some of both Ship and CMC tape. I do think his in game agility is inferior to CMC’s at this point. Definitely will be interesting to see Ship on the college level. However, I will say I don’t even think he gets to display all of his talent as far as agility because his speed and acceleration gap is so major to the high school game speed.

    • @kelleywhitehurst3180
      @kelleywhitehurst3180 3 года назад +1

      @@rapidfiresports3326 I know it's on the verge of blasphemy to say this, but go look a Adrian Peterson in high school. The tape is VERY SIMILAR. No one could catch Peterson. He looked like a one cut back with the ability to break an open field tackle. We never got to see the aggressive style in Peterson until he reached the D1 level. At 6'1'' 220lbs, Peterson's body frame is not much bigger than Shipley's. Also, Shipley's upright running style is eerily similar to All Day.
