I need a brother like you! When I get my recliner I’m definitely going to need a platform because I’m taller and I need my legs to be comfortable underneath as well as work efficiently without a hunch back. This was a great video ♥️
@@JARMade what are the fasteners? Ubolts? I need to make one for my 6 ft. tall pastor but my heavy set hubby is still concerned about the riser raising the center of gravity. was the "box" the same size as the bottom of the chair? or how much longer?
Have you considered putting the plans to build one of these risers together? With the plans and a bill of materials, others could make, or have a riser made. I've needed one of these for a couple of years now - my recliner seat is 22", I'm 6'8" So getting up is always fun.... Better yet, take custom orders to build !
I have an old rocker swivel chair with a solid circular wooden base. Could I just screw some 2x4 into the base, like skis? It doesn't look like anyone makes platform risers for a flat bottom chair like mine. thanks!
@@JARMade sadly Im in Utah 🥲 but at least I have a guide now, I could probably go get the wood all cut up at like Home Depot and then try putting it together myself 😁😁😁
More than perfect! Thank you so much!
You are welcome 😊

Love the video, I need one if these for my wife's recliner since she's 6"1 and the recliner is too low. Will use this as inspiration.
I am actually building a couple of these for my sister's salon too. Lol it was nice to come across this to see how someone else went about the build.
Glad to see it was able to provide some good info to someone 🙂

I don't see why that wouldn't work
Can you buy recliner risers or is it better to build them?
You should make a key holder
What materials did you use? I didn't understand what was said at the beginning of the video.
I used 2by4s and walnut veneer mdf
Hi can someone tell me the exact size of the actual box once it’s made ?
