    I was at the Sheppard Pratt North Point VA shelter in Hagerstown, MD where they make us eat old out dated garbage from the dumpster. The Director Tosha almost never comes in for more than 1 hour a month. The place is a haunted house. Water leaking from pipes everywhere, vents in the ceiling that have never been cleaned (I have pics), broken dishwasher for months. Sheppard Pratt is horrible.

  • @steveb9525
    @steveb9525 Месяц назад +3

    I want to expose all the corruption and ineptitude at Sheppard Pratt. For 2 years I have been homeless and the government, VA and Sheppard strung me along saying they would get me housing. Instead, the VA pays $2,000 a day for me to sit in a run down NJ motel. $750,000 flushes down the toilet last year when all I need is HUD VASH, Section 8 or something like that.

    Less than 50% of veterans actually receive benefits from the VA and of that, 50%, not all of them are receiving monetary benefits. If the VA can handle a load of 50 % what the hell would they do if everybody started filing?

      Those are all foreign policy issues. VA spending falls under the Department of Veteran's Affairs which has absolutely nothing to do with foreign policy. Also, the issue isn't that there's no money to give to the VA. The problem has to do with the VA not budgeting properly and now they're asking for billions more then they initially said they would need to cover expenses when the 2024 VA budget was originally passed. Funds aren't being held back because the US has given Ukrainian money (which is not given to them in cash like the majority of people assume. They are given military surplus that our troops aren't using anymore. We're basically giving them our old hand me downs. If you don't believe me then look it up for yourself.) The Senate isn't going to approve more money going to the VA until they find out why their budget is short to begin with which is appropriate IMO.

      If the Dems and RINO’s didn’t spend $200 billion on this phony proxy war in Ukraine, then there wouldn’t be any shortfall. Correct?
