@@xd_Joliss nope u need to get on the head and when dino moves it pushes u to the wall which gives u a dash direct to space but u need to get an perfect angle for it

That elevator is literally a cheat inserted for normal players to get to the halfway point, it’s not a speed run hack, and shouldn’t count as such. The dino skip should for sure.
@@Libertas_P77I don’t understand, how is this dino skip legit but the other starter skip is not? Even the dragon wings skip is borderline cheating , but at least it requires more effort in skill and training for timing.
I think basically the same as the dragon skip, jumping when it flicks.
Why would that not be allowed when the dragon skip is ? It's literally the SAME thing. Taking advantage of a entity animation to get launched very fast.

First it was get to dragon to skip to the end. Now it’s get to Dino to skip to the end. In 1 month it will be spawn to skip to the end… oh wait that’s already a thing. Official WR is 4sec 283ms.

I'd be surprised if that dino skip is allowed: it skips so much of the game that it's akin to a major glitch like edge rolling.
I agree, dino skip ruins the spirit of the game. Why not just have a super giga bed skip in the beginning and jump right to the end?

According to speedrun website, Any% category just allows Champaign boost, Boat boost and Dragon boost. Any other glitches are not allowed in the most permissive category which is "With Launch". Under those premises, the Dino will not be an allowed glitch so this will not count as world record, unless another category is opened.

^^^ thats the end of the rules. Dino uses the same launching mechanics that the dragon does "to get thrown off to space and above" they don't consider dragon launch to be a glitch.
Plus just let the people actually involved deal with this and vote on it, our opinions on these rules mean nothing

I've made a similar game myself, but it's sweaty to see that the only up is 3D.
Why does the leaderboard still say Lolo66 is first place with 16:08? Maybe this doesn't count but I hope it does.

IMO it should be allowed if dragon is allowed. Its the same type of skip.
If they don't want to allow Dino, they shouldn't allow Dragon either (at least the wing jump anyway).
@@droidonpc1 The dino skips more than twice as much and this record is not recorded on the leaderboard. IMO they shouldn't have added the dino at all. It's only purpose is to use it as a skip and they obviously intended exactly that. If they don't allow it, what's the purpose?

You do realize this game is just a lazy mash of stolen assets thrown together to push Goblintown NFTs, right? If there's a 2nd game I doubt it will be any different. But there probably won't be a 2nd game- the company behind it will likely get cease and desisted since they made so much money off stolen assets.

holy hell was that dino skip intended to be this crazy by the developers or is it just a glitch?
This game is a buggy mess man 🤣 nothing was intended by the devs other than the beds and maybe champagne/canon launch. Definitely not dragon, dino and boat tho.
using glitches that arent specifically listed by the speedrun community moderators are not allowed in the any% catergory.
Here are the rules:
Champagne Double Trigger is allowed only if you do it in 30 FPS. You can either switch to 30 FPS in your run, or do the whole run in 30 FPS
Stowaway Skip is allowed
Any other glitches is not allowed (roll boost, using any of the ball, wind turbine supercut above highway, grabbing falling platforms, ...)

Agreed, realistically boat glitch is simply an actual exploited glitch, this is the dinosaur the game dev put in themselves and you land on it, it's head movement simply knocks you flying into the air, for this skip to be removed the dinosaur would need to become static, or removed, so technically it should be allowed unless a patch comes in to remove the dino.
If the dino glitch is accepted as a legit run then why not the rolling slowmo one from the beginning that sends u to the top? Seems like the categories should be more defined

I don’t think the dino skip counts. It turns you to a rocketman straight to the finish line, almost similar to the other unrestricted skips.
It’s being voted on now by the runners, last I heard it was winning by 20 votes. Will most likely be allowed.

Update: Dino has its own category now, and is separate from the runs with Dragon. Rightfully so.

The dino is animated and you borrow momentum from it.
