Apparently this song is about the Spanish Civil War I read in a BBC interview with Nicky Wire. I had no idea - I'm 40 and my 96 grandmother who's still very much with us was evacuated from the Basque region of Spain in the 1930s. World War II then intervened and she remained in the UK - moving to Wales with my Welsh grandfather in the early 70s and settling in the Vale of Glamorgan.

Our salaries are very low, and our pension system is so bad people have to continue working after they retire. Apparently this song is about the Spanish Civil War I read in a BBC interview with Nicky Wire. I had no idea - I'm 40 and my 96 grandmother who's still very much with us was evacuated from the Basque region of Spain in the 1930s. World War II then intervened and she remained in the UK - moving to Wales with my Welsh grandfather in the early 70s and settling in the Vale of Glamorgan.

Chile, October 2019. We said enough is enough and we are fighting neoliberalism, healthcare, education, water, electricity, roads, and everything you can think of is privatised. Our salaries are very low, and our pension system is so bad people have to continue working after they retire. We are protesting in the streets but we are only getting tear gas bombs, bullets and violence from the police and the army, we need help, I always listened to this song and I was so sad because in my country we were all blind and deaf, indifferent to our own people's pain. Now I am more positive, at least we are all united fighting.

The war in middle east is terrible even today is still ongoin. Many lives is and was lost and will be lost. And many more places still today has the same issues in other parts of the world. People have fled to other countries for their survival in fear and with luggage of traumatic experience. Even an example of the war of in the past such as wallis and futuna was terrible.
