    Thank you so much for "baring all" for us! I am just setting up my space and now have some interesting ideas that I can work with. I live in Australia and I love watching you and never miss an upload whether it's about your retreats or classes which I can't participate in or not. You've taught me much already.

      Oh Thanks Shiree, how sweet. We were due for a trip back to Oz, but we are so off schedule. I need a lamington so bad! I can cook nearly everything so we don't miss much, but I just can't do those. And some good Aussie fish and chips. You can participate in the video versions of my classes! I just can not mail product, but we can do the tutorials for any country. Have a lamington for me!!

      Thanks Bonnie. My husband made that for me several years ago. It is amazing how much stuff you can cram into it!

    Thank you for the tour. Suggestion. You mentioned that you wanted to print the colors for the tops of your refills. I assume just the colors because the top of not large enough for names. I used a small circle punch and the same color cardstock and glued the circle on with a glue dot. Easy peasy.

    • @cheriscards
      @cheriscards  3 года назад

      I think the advantage to the cricut (I don't have one, my sister, daughter and friends do) is that we can put the cardstock in and with the sticker back it will punch all the little circles so we just peel them off. I am just along as a happy recipient of their stickers, lol. Your way most certainly works - but I will never say no to free gifts!

    Thanks so much for showing us around. I love that you have used the furniture you have and modified it to your needs rather than tossed it out in favour of the IKEA option. And I’m pea green with envy that you have such a useful biddable hubby. I only have to look like I’m going to ask mine to help me and he glazes over and heads for the hills. Best wishes for a wonderful Christmas 🎄. Love from Oz 🇦🇺

      Lol, you know my hubby is an Aussie! I love old things. I do like the clean look of IKEA, but I am sure I would have destroyed a table from them by now, the ones I have are all built to last. All the pieces in my studio are antique or handmade! Happy Christmas to you as well!

      It does help. I still manage to misplace things at least once or twice a month. I can not stand looking for things. It's the worst! I tend to lay them down while on the phone or something. Grrr, lol.

    Loved the tour! A messy room is a sign of a great crafter! I especially loved the antique library catalog, it brought back memories as a younger girl going to the city library!!

    • @cheriscards
      @cheriscards  3 года назад

      Thanks! I love the library catalog too. Because honestly for the room it takes up it is NOT the best use of storage space. But looking at it makes me happy. When I first got it (my husbands office was THROWING IT OUT!) I thought it would hold more than it does. But til I squeeze every last inch out of the rest of the room I will keep it!

    Thanks! I just thought of how I can create much more efficient space by simple switching a plastic table w a wood one.

    • @cheriscards
      @cheriscards  3 года назад +1

      I have all kinds of things nailed into the undersides of my wood table! Plus it's a bit more sturdy when you film, it doesn't move and make it seem like I am stamping on a ship, lol.

    I enjoyed the tour Cheri. It’s always interesting to see how another stamper (especially a professional) figures out the never ending storage problem! I did order the Stampin blends storage units so that’s on it’s way. Yay! I do my scrap paper and dies like you do. I found like you said, if the dies are out of sight they are out of mind and don’t get used. For my punches, I had my handyman neighbor put several slim metal towel racks on a large board and mount it on a wall. The punches then stand on end on the racks. It is always evolving thought isn’t it. I figure if my craft room is messy, it must have been a good day!

    • @cheriscards
      @cheriscards  3 года назад +1

      Our rooms are always in a state of change, eh? Partly due to figuring out something that may (or may not, lol) work better - and then when we get the newest must have that must be within reach! I hope you like the new storage units. Everyone I know that has them does like them. They are nice and clean looking!

    Hi, I love watching other demonstrators rooms! Yours is very functional!
    So I wonder what level is receiving the paper organizers set you showed? I did attend OnStage but am only a bronze elite but really like those organizers! Thanks!

    • @cheriscards
      @cheriscards  3 года назад

      It was for Centre Stage - so Silver Elite and above. They are really pretty....but oh I MISS the Centre Stage events. One of the best perks of being at that level and + - definately something to work toward!! We get gifts at the dinners too!

    Thanks so much for sharing. How do you categorise your DSP scraps Cheri?

    • @cheriscards
      @cheriscards  3 года назад +1

      I use the drawers and just divide 3 different patterns into one. It's not perfect, but it forces me to use the scraps. If I have a lot left from a class - then I make myself use it in my VIP video projects - so much better than tossing them!

      @@cheriscards thanks for explaining. I use a similar system to yours for colour cardstock, but haven't found a system for scrap dso yet 😀

    Where did you purchase the small ceramic dishes for your small dies on your desk and the pencil holders with the words create and write?

    • @cheriscards
      @cheriscards  3 года назад +1

      So...those are another one of my obsessions. I have had them for a few years.
      They are Rae Dunn. I find mine at Home Goods. The art themed ones are usually out in the fall/back to school time and over in the sections with the office supplies. If you have friends that shop there, ask them to look for you too. It's the easiest way to find them. They are all under $10.

      They are part of Joanna Gaine's Magnolia Collection - so over where you find her things!
