My favorite thing today is the polish pottery snack dish.
Sundaes we're called sundaes because it was thought to be indecent to lick an ice cream cone on Sunday. In some places it was against the law. Those Victorians had some major hang ups.
Carnival glass only got it's moniker after iridescent glass fell out of favor. The companies that had their leftovers, sold their stock to carnivals as prizes.

My grandma would be 112.. said all her glass dishes cups etc were carnival glass! Had to pitch a penny into the dish you wanted when the carnival would come to town.

That's awesome!! You could put those green glasses with your red ones and use them at Christmas time. You found some nice pieces at that Goodwill. They're selling the more expensive items online to make more money. It's a bummer for people who like the thrill of the hunt for that unicorn or rare piece.
I bought some Waterford Crystal at an Estate Sale. Years ago in Ireland I couldn't afford one piece. Hate to see it at Goodwill.

The trouble with the Goodwill online shopping is that they charge quite a lot for shipping as well as a handling price that can be $2-4 and up added to the shipping cost.
I have found some really great stuff on the Goodwill websites. I don't mind the shipping and handling fees as the items are still less expensive than other purchasing options. I am looking as a collector and not a reseller.
I picked up a Couroc tray yesterday. It has a San Francisco trolly scene.

I take a loupe and a black light as part of my shopping “arsenal” , because those marks on glass are very hard to see. {for me}

Watching your camera scan over the shelves when I spot something special to me. A resin angel holding a star (8:21). My daughter was gifted an angel just like this 25 years ago. Unfortunately we lost everything in a devastating flood that took out half our town in 2013. I recognized her immediately at a glance. Brought back so many good memories.
I often think that is who buys all this stuff. People who had a fire or flood.
OMG! I was at that Goodwill yesterday and would love to have run into you! I watch you all the time. This is now my favorite GW store. I find so many good things there for myself! I am not a reseller, just love to decorate my home and yard with great finds!

I bought the same red pottery bowl from the artist at a gallery in Door county Wisconsin about 10 years ago.
You definitely found some treasure & proved GW wrong. It stinks they are taking the cream of the crop & selling it in line. I just can’t bring myself to pay their prices plus shipping. Always love seeing Laurel!

I love the moon face cabinet🌝 You found some great things this trip. I absolutely love how happy Laurel is. It sounded like she was saying “that” when she was pointing up at the shelves. I remember my oldest boy @ the same age would always say “what’s that?” Wonderful memories ❤

That "domed dish" is vintage...the pattern is called "Baltimore Pear". It's a butter dish.

The Goodwills in our area put a barcode price sticker in the center of the plate or bowl, entirely covering the manufacturer name. Very frustrating, since if you peel back the sticker, they won’t sell it to you.

That domed dish was and old butter dish. Butter used to be round back in the day. My mom has three of those.

You having good eye for thing's to resale, thing's in NYC, well do as well, and fast. I've meet a lot of friends, who do to the same, plus "Housing Works" stores dose good special membership shop for any thing for $1 dollar at the store one's a year, and good brand's at lowest priced every week.
I have quite a few of those glass swan trinket boxes but not blue
