Hi, loved your video . Milk mixed with water kills white fungus. I use it on my passionfruit vine when required. Apparently a certain enzyme reacts with the sun to produce a natural type of antiseptic so to speak. The wonders of the Lord!!
I tried all the recipes, and I found mayonnaise diluted with water the best results, especially for those leaves that are naturally waxy, have a greater shine, and are protected from dust.
Oh! I totally forgot about neem oil! Thank you! I have some "just in case" I ever gets pests, but I never thought about diluting it as a preventative. Genius! Thank you, Breonna!! I hope you are doing well!
Glad to see the different things to use. Just wish there was a close up of the leaves before and after. Then all together to see if any differences. Thanks.
I've actually found that lemon water works best for me - and adding a smidge of epsom salt to your watering can can help with color vibrancy too. And consistent dusting! Lol
You mentioned the bug thing. I read that to the lemon mix you add a tiny drop of tea tree oil or peppermint oil and that helps with bugs. Not sure if that is true I haven't tried it myself and to be fair I have never had problems with bug in my plants.
Tfs I needed this today I got a shipment from Thailand rare plants and they spray them with chemicals and this helped a lot thank you ! I use water alcohol and a drop of dawn for pests and it helps , I was surprised the alcohol didn’t hurt the leaves but it doesn’t diluted. I was wondering if tea tree oil would work . A tiny bit of organic coconut oil cleaned a few large plants I just wouldn’t use too much or it could collect more dust so less is more Wow that worked amazingly
Very helpful tips - I may try a tiny bit of coconut oil to see if it will give my leaves a nice sheen - just have to be careful not to clog the pores of the plant or do anything that will collect more dust! I *hate* dusting! LOL How are your Thailand plants fairing now? Doing well? What did you get???
Everyone is doing great! I've found that consistent dusting, and wiping leaves with lemon water are my favorite techniques. Also, adding a bit of epsom salt to your watering can can help with the color vibrancy of your leaves - a little goes a long way, but it really helps your plant flourish!
Lemon juice is acidic, so best to be careful about that. Also, Dawn dish soap is not formulated for plants, but insecticidal soap is, and can thus be used to clean leaves.
Wow this is really cool, informative and entertaining too, Mayonnaise and others wow! I only use water and microfiber cloth and sometimes I put lemon in water. Thanks for the shout out on the description your so sweet and kind dear. I was trying to look for you on Instagram but I can't find you. So I only put your RUclips channel on Stories :) Have a fab day and stay safe dear xx :)
The mayo really made me laugh!!! I'm on Insta, but it's mostly just me personal account - sometimes plants, but mostly family - you are welcome to follow me though @reichensmama! Have a great day!!!
I haven't had to deal with mealy bugs yet, but I know you can either use rubbing alcohol or dish soap in a spray bottle and spray directly on the bugs, eggs, and larvae. You'll want to discard all old soil and sanitize the container too - just to make sure that no eggs are lingering around. I, personally, use neem oil - I often get spider mites when I bring my plants outside for the summer). Neem oil is great because it is 100% organic and can be used as both a preventative and treatment! Whichever cleanser you decide to use, just make sure you get new soil and wash the pot - you'll never get rid of those pesky little pests if their eggs keep hiding around! Does that help at all?
Hi new friend! Indonesia! What a blessing to have connected with you! I have returned the subscription and I look forward to watching all of your future videos!
Same here - the milk freaks me out 😆 And I've read reports where they say the milkfat can 'clog the pores' on the plant reducing the effectiveness of photosynthesis. But it mostly freaks me out 😆
I've heard of that but it freaked me out 😆 Won't animal products attract bugs or something? Even the watered down milk kind of made my skin crawl 😆😆 Have you had any problems stemming from using the egg whites?
The mayonnaise really works you just put a little bit on a brag and rub it on your leaf and then wipe it off and it does not hurt your plant

You can use eggwhite rather than the Mayo. I tried the Eggwhite and it gives shine to my plant leaves..
I love that idea - I will have to try it soon! Thank you!
Yessss been using it forever my plants always looks great

this make more sense to me, mayo
Hey that mayo really works thee best, I hope I didn’t damage my baby. It’s shimmer shining.
Mayo has been doing it for me 😊
Mayo left a sticky residue on the leaves
Diluted neem oil adds shine plus it helps treat and prevent pests.

Yes I need to get some
Yes, do it!! 💚

@@GrowingRoots that’s amazing 😍..can it be done everyday?hope u have video link so I can watch your procedures😘
I don't have a new video, but I will make one soon! I wouldn't do anything daily, but once a week will work out well!

Rub a banana peel - all natural, works pretty well, not super shiny but better than tossing the peel
I’d be worried about attracting pests or molding
Should be trying these on my plants 👍👍
You should! And let me know which one(s) you prefer!

Growing Roots New Life Tropicals , took 3 months to get them because of pandemic, but they are very nice 👍🏼
@@sierra734 LOL You have the patience of a saint! I will have to look them up - do they have a website? Or FB, Insta, Ebay?
great information. Always want my plants to look their best
Thank you! Me too!
Also, milk, even spoiled milk is used to destroy mold and fungus off of squash leaves.
I'd like to know how those plants or leaves are today

U can use white egg yolk
What do you do for mealy bugs, any tips

hello,,, friend, INDONESIA 🇮🇩 coming be friend

Hi new friend! Indonesia! What a blessing to have connected with you! I have returned the subscription and I look forward to watching all of your future videos!
I like lemon i don’t agree using milk 😊
Same here - the milk freaks me out 😆 And I've read reports where they say the milkfat can 'clog the pores' on the plant reducing the effectiveness of photosynthesis. But it mostly freaks me out 😆
Science shows that human touch collapses plant stimuli and that stimuli can never return. Just spreading the word.
Try egg white.
I've heard of that but it freaked me out 😆 Won't animal products attract bugs or something? Even the watered down milk kind of made my skin crawl 😆😆 Have you had any problems stemming from using the egg whites?
talks too much before getting to the point.
