Very well done.. liked and informative.. 1 Qs. As you demonstrated that applying beeswax makes punching a hole in the leather much easier, then doesn't it make a shoe/boots more vulnerable to contact damage while actual wear? Especially for rugged usage like trekking?
Hi George...really enjoy your videos. I purchased two 1oz slugs of beeswax from Tandy Leather. They are very hard. I melted some down and applied it to a belt with a piece of cloth...I previously antiqued, buffed then applied Super Shene. I ruined the belt. The wax was hard to get to rub around evenly and I ended up rubbing light spots on the belt...actually lifting the antique even after 3 coats of Super Shene. Is that beez wax from Tandy's 100%? Is it better to use paraffin wax to seal up a project? Would melting the two waxes together make for a better sealer which is my goal. HELP ME GEORGE.
I didn’t know you could use beeswax on the round and fork hole punch tools ~ thank you for tip!
