If you have a plan to go to Trang Province I highly recommend Dim Sum there .There are lots of delicious local food which is “Trang Roasted Pork” ( Moo- Yang -Meuang -Trang ) and “Dim Sum” a popular breakfast that you must try. Dim Sum is very easy to find in the morning in Trang
$6.88 USD for all of that food??? OMG, that's a steal!! Here in Southern California, two people eating dim sum will cost a minimum of $50 USD easily! I can't wait to get to Thailand next week!
If it's not a tourist area, Thai food will be much cheaper The restaurant in the video is considered relatively cheap but there are other are cheaper than this In Thailand you can easily find one for less than 1$.

Excellent spot in Chumphon - the dim sum in Thailand is smaller portions but very fresh and steamed on the spot off ice. If you're back in Chumphon ever I've been staying at the Nana Buri Hotel - just down the street from where you had dim sum. It's 800 Bhat a night. Clean, quiet, breakfast included, fridge, etc. Just had an unbelievable meal in Ang Thong on the way to Khorat - Bohk Toh Restaurant - south of town around 4km - check out the photos online. Unbelievable.

12:27 I could be wrong, but it might be Squid Neung Manao (Steamed squid with lime). The Neung Manao style is pretty common for any seafood place and great for fish and squids. It also pairs well with beers. If I were to have Dim Sum of the same quality here in Bangkok, it would be half the size but twice the price, you found a great place there!
This dim sum shop in Chumporn is one of the best dim sum in Thailand, better than several famous shops in the south. (the south people of Thailand usually eat dim sum as breakfast). I ate in this shop last 5 months and found the taste really amazing.

Chumphon was my hometown for 16 years, my favorite place on earth to be... Loved the place.. shame your experience wasn't so good.. Should've stayed at Chalicha Hotel.. highly recommended.
We had no transport so wanted to stay in city near market and songthaew! Was a shame the hotel owners were dishonest but it happens every now and then! We still had some good times 🇹🇭

Next day they say we now have to pay lots more money (they said we haven't paid for room) , we said no we have already paid. They said if we don't pay we can't stay in any room.. They treat tourists terribly in this place. I made a vlog and then straight away they stopped demanding more money from us , we left after 2 nights because of negative atmosphere :(

Yet another great Vlog but what I want to know is what is happening with the rooms you have been renting ?? Tell more pls. I know you two are all about keeping it upbeat and positive but knowing about what downs happen is just as important for those whom have never been to Thailand. I myself have never had any issues but it would be interesting to know if you are using Airbnb or just Google and book before hand or do you do like I do and just take pot luck and just turn up and take a chance if they have space.
We just had a stroke of bad luck Michael mate. When it fits the video I include it but I didn't want to upload a 15 minute argument with the hotel owners to RUclips ahah. In Bangkok we were told we couldn't stay unless we paid full 5 nights fee, (we had just arrived straight from Vietnam and come straight from the airport so couldn't get money until bank opened in morning) Then Ranong the bed bug chronicles Then here we paid on agoda beforehand and then the 2nd day they started asking for money and trying to make us pay more for nothing they were terrible people. But honestly apart from those few things nothing bad ever happens with us, we don't ever get scammed really because we avoid tourist areas. When bad stuff happens or we go places that are terrible I will always say don't worry about that
We never use Airbnb ever it's super expensive and becoming for more working nomads, booking.com in Europe and Agoda cheapest in Asia. But we always contact hotels directly aswell and try to work out a price without using booking sites!

I say that beacsue I have used online bookings for the first time for when I get to Thailand in June, I booked one a few days in Bangkok before spending the next few months in the Golden triangle all booked and paid for in advance but Because I got such a low price I am shitting myself that they will try and charge me extra. I speak Thai as much as you do maybe a little more so I hope that helps. If they do try that on me I will hire an motor bike and buy camping equipment and go walk about. Im sure i am worrying for no reason.

@@EllisWR I hope so bro, Im not to worried about the 3rd booking I have which is for 2 months staying in a traditional Thai house. with little to no western comforts but Im used to that when I have been the 2 time s before I roughed it back then too. It took me sometime to get used to having cold showers as I like to shower before bed and as you know sometimes nights can get chilly. my first booking is staying 2 night in Bangkok in capsule lol. just a bed and nothing else. No taking a girl back to my room pmsl. Its the 2nd place I booked for a month which I got for what I think is a steal and I got 70% off the price so something just tells me that I might get asked to pay more. I hope not but after wheat you said before I cant help worry a little.

The Meteorological Department has said that this year may reach 45 degrees in some areas. You should have an umbrella or a hat, it will help. And 9 more days until the Songkran festival. Yet another great Vlog but what I want to know is what is happening with the rooms you have been renting ?? Tell more pls. I know you two are all about keeping it upbeat and positive but knowing about what downs happen is just as important for those whom have never been to Thailand. I myself have never had any issues but it would be interesting to know if you are using Airbnb or just Google and book before hand or do you do like I do and just take pot luck and just turn up and take a chance if they have space.
We just had a stroke of bad luck Michael mate. When it fits the video I include it but I didn't want to upload a 15 minute argument with the hotel owners to RUclips ahah.
In Bangkok we were told we couldn't stay unless we paid full 5 nights fee, (we had just arrived straight from Vietnam and come straight from the airport so couldn't get money until bank opened in morning)
Then Ranong the bed bug chronicles
Then here we paid on agoda beforehand and then the 2nd day they started asking for money and trying to make us pay more for nothing they were terrible people.
But honestly apart from those few things nothing bad ever happens with us, we don't ever get scammed really because we avoid tourist areas. When bad stuff happens or we go places that are terrible I will always say don't worry about that
We never use Airbnb ever it's super expensive and becoming for more working nomads, booking.com in Europe and Agoda cheapest in Asia.
But we always contact hotels directly aswell and try to work out a price without using booking sites!
@@EllisWR I know I asked and now i wish I hadnt lol. I say that beacsue I have used online bookings for the first time for when I get to Thailand in June, I booked one a few days in Bangkok before spending the next few months in the Golden triangle all booked and paid for in advance but Because I got such a low price I am shitting myself that they will try and charge me extra. I speak Thai as much as you do maybe a little more so I hope that helps. If they do try that on me I will hire an motor bike and buy camping equipment and go walk about. Im sure i am worrying for no reason.

@@EllisWR I hope so bro, Im not to worried about the 3rd booking I have which is for 2 months staying in a traditional Thai house. with little to no western comforts but Im used to that when I have been the 2 time s before I roughed it back then too. It took me sometime to get used to having cold showers as I like to shower before bed and as you know sometimes nights can get chilly. my first booking is staying 2 night in Bangkok in capsule lol. just a bed and nothing else. No taking a girl back to my room pmsl. Its the 2nd place I booked for a month which I got for what I think is a steal and I got 70% off the price so something just tells me that I might get asked to pay more. I hope not but after wheat you said before I cant help worry a little.

No idea Chris I'm guessing they just thought they could make some extra money from us, probably thought we were just daft tourists.
First few bad hotel experiences in 18 months though so it's all good!

@@EllisWR 30 degrees is considered normal. When in Bangkok it's 37 degrees, but it's getting hotter and hotter. The Meteorological Department has said that this year may reach 45 degrees in some areas.

pl elaborate breifly hotel nightmare
We arrived and had already paid online for the room with Agoda, they said if we pay 200 baht more we can upgrade to bigger room for 4 nights so we paid this extra.
Next day they say we now have to pay lots more money (they said we haven't paid for room) , we said no we have already paid.
They said if we don't pay we can't stay in any room.. They treat tourists terribly in this place.
I made a vlog and then straight away they stopped demanding more money from us , we left after 2 nights because of negative atmosphere :(
