Prepping Paper for Painting in Acrylic or Oil Paint

In this video, I discuss a variety of different mediums you can use to prepare the surface of paper for painting, and how to apply them for the best results. I also include a few other painting tips, including laying in a thin layer of ground color to get you ready for the painting process. It’s a good way to get that first layer down fast, breaking the ice, so to speak. I’m working with acrylic paint, but this could also be applied to oil painting.
