    I own a 2021 Subaru WRX, but I must admit how much I admire this 2021 Kia Forte GT. Your Kia is a great looking car, sounds awesome, and has really nice interior features. Plus, the car is marked at a great price. That Forte GT is a home run for a very cool commuter car.

    Aye Darius, Not a bad car at all. Another example of Kia's stepping up their game. If I were in the market for a small , fun car, I'd definitely check out of the Forte GT. The price ain't bad as well.

    VW Jetta GLI also has a Limited Slip Diff., as well.
    However, you're definitely going to literally pay for it. Plus the Jetta GLI is a bigger vehicle though technically still in the compact car class. (Just barely at 7 inches shorter than a Toyota Camry, and 3 inches longer than a Corolla.) As far as the hot hatch GTI, itself; to get the Top of the Line version offered by VW, you'll need to shell out $6K more than a similarly equipped Top of the Line Jetta GLI.
    Even without an LSDiff, the KIA Forte GT gives you a lot of both car and performance for the money. I remember 20 years ago when a compact KIA was the worst Penalty Box you could get. Seriously, one of those was simply for either struggling college kids barely above the poverty line or for working class individuals who would instantly become poor if they ever lost their Minimum Wage job which they needed a car to get to on a daily basis. KIA has very impressively come a long way.

      I just got a Forte GT Line in white only reason why I got it was it had everything the GT had interior wise and I've had bad luck with turbo engines so I just went with the straight 2.0L engine don't understand estimate that 2.0 in the GT line that car can go!

    • @Specialist7
      @Specialist7 3 года назад

      @@dreamkiidd2290 I cant speak for every Forte non-GT but the 2.0L CVT is not as reliable as the 1.6T DCT/MT or at least thats what I've seen from the community. By that I mean that in the GT community theres less complaints about the engine than the non-GT community. Granted thats not every engine as I've seen some people with non-GT who has put in over 100K no problem. The most important part is just keeping up with maintenance really but I see what you mean as general consensus turbo engine cars need more maintaining than NA cars.

      @@Specialist7 I had a 2018 kia lx with the 2.0l cvt and I put 80,000km (50,000 miles) on it with no issues. I upgraded to the 1.6l turbo dct because i wanted a newer car. Kia forte is a great car. Biggest issue was no kia dealership had manual transmissions on the lot so i didnt have much choice on transmission options.

    This car is fun to drive but looks boring on the outside, with it's bug eye looking headlights. I would choose the 2021 Toyota Corolla SE sedan over the 2021 Kia Forte GT. Corolla looks much sexier, sexier wheels, and is more reliable with a naturally aspirated dual injected engine.

    • @curt2233
      @curt2233 3 года назад +9

      I respect your opinion but Naturally aspirated doesn’t mean more reliable, turbos are very reliable and a turbo set up is easier to tune if your are into those things. I personally don’t like the ( Toyota) even the apex edition for what you pay you can’t even tune it

    • @braetonwilson4296
      @braetonwilson4296 3 года назад +3

      @@curt2233 Turbos are very reliable? LOL good joke! Turbos add a lot of stress to the engine, reducing engine lifespan and durability. Furthermore, the turbocharger itself usually breaks down before the engine, requiring a replacement that costs thousands of dollars unless you have warranty. Turbo also adds carbon gunk to the engine valves.

    • @M4B21S88
      @M4B21S88 3 года назад +8

      @@braetonwilson4296 lol here you are again with “corolla is better looking and more reliable”. No one cares what you find sexier, dude...
      Turbocharged cars can last well over 200k mi. Yes, they do require more frequent maintenance (every 5- 6k miles), but they can last buddy, this isnt the 80s nor 90s anymore.
      What does it matter though. You already have it set in your mind that it wont last as supreme NA corolla...which, btw, are not flawless even without a turbo.
      At least if youre gonna compare a corolla with a Forte, go do so on videos with the NA 2.0L ivt Forte.
      Otherwise, not in the same league at all other than belonging to the “compact” segment.
      Any part of a car can fail outside of warranty period and be costly...
      But, guess what? Kia offers a 5 yr /60k mi limited and 10 yr / 100k mi powertrain (the latter only when bought new - the original owner) warranty. Oh but yeah, youre also going around saying Kia/hyundai deny warranty claims 🤦‍♂️
      Btw, look up the 2022 GR Corolla...
      Youre gonna miss out on the fun.....😆
      Now THAT is one Corolla id buy!!!!
