Why did y’all leave out that the police beat women into miscarriage or that a police officer stomped on a baby and murdered the baby

    • @johnjamison208

Because there's no proof of that

John Jamison There was a picture of the body of Life Africa, the baby whose skull was crushed, in the Inquirer, taken when MOVE let some officials into the house to view the body. There is no reason to not believe that the cops beat up those pregnant women. The cops were allowed to beat MOVE people with impunity in the courthouse, in the jails, and on national television, in the case of Delbert Africa. The cops also occasionally drove by the Powelton Village house in the middle of the night and shot it up with carbines. The cops told so many demonstrable lies about what they did to MOVE. They showed time and again that they intended to kill MOVE people. There is no reason to believe them over MOVE.

    • @johnjamison208

@@Clavdiachauchat that baby could have died during a miscarriage or anything. You have no proof it was from the cops. Please stop with your nonsense. I dare you to ask any of the neighbors who live next to these animals what it was like to deal with them on a daily basis. Especially on Osage Avenue the neighbors were physically attacked they had rats and roaches in their houses from them. Yelling on bull horns all hours of the night. How would you like to live next to that crap. You would be calling the cops in a heartbeat I guarantee it

@@johnjamison208 Do you think the neighbors were happy when the city let their houses burn down? I would be very surprised if any of the neighbors wanted or expected their homes and personal belongings to be totally destroyed as part of the resolution to the '85 situation. Nothing MOVE did warranted what the city did to them and that neighborhood.
The cops let five children die in the fire. Those kids walked to Cobbs Creek Park -- under police observation -- every day. The cops could have picked them up at any time before May 13, but they didn't. They knew those kids where in there. They didn't have to die.
500 cops let that happen in full view of the entire city. (We couldn't see what happened in the back alley, where the stakeout unit set up a machine gun, but we saw enough.) If the cops did that, why would they have any problem with beating up a pregnant woman when there were no cameras rolling? Why wouldn't you believe that a cop would do that?

    "an American suburb"?
Has the description author ever been to West Philly before? Calling that place a suburb is like calling cancer "a skin tag". It's a fuckin hell-hole. I'm not gonna pretend like everything wrong with that community is caused by the residents, because the city government does its fair share to make sure everyone stays nice and poor out there, but my God, enough already with the delicate language.
I think burning those people to death was a massive mistake, but so was adopting bizarre, unorthodox ideologies and then shouting at your neighbors about them all day, until they've had enough and are left with no choice but to put a call to the big state to just end the bullshit already. Another massive mistake was squatting on property and not paying any of your damn bills. I mean look, I get it: central governments exist only to siphon life out of you and that is ethically wrong, but you gotta know when you're playing with fire (in this case, literally) when you start trying to provoke a dangerously powerful entity like the government into accepting your challenge of their deeply-embedded system that they've spent decades sowing the seeds to. And let me just say for the record: did anybody ever bother to call out the members of MOVE for clear child-endangerment? Their kids got killed while they tried to prove a political point that would've never come to fruition anyway. Philly blacks wouldn't last 25 seconds moving back to "their roots" in some gross, humid revolving-wheel-of-death that is a Congo jungle. They all love Wawa and Blu-Rays too much to live in such a shithole, and who could fuckin blame them?
