That's exactly what I thought when I downloaded it a few days ago. So much in there and it's such fun. Playing and at the same time thinking, wow this is free!!
It's a sample of the full version its supposed to be good so many people will think "Ohhh they gave Me something good for free, let Me buy the full vertion".
Thanks for what you do. Gorgeous stuff here . Im just starting . Blank pallete..of gear ..samples..all of it. 4 cool 14 song albums ready to re do 💯 percent .. Tons of bird and critter photography to set to video and audio. This will save time ..and money qhich are the same to me. ❤
SonuScore are mad lads for dropping this, this literally makes some paid started orchestras obsolete! And it may pay off, because I instantly considered upgrading to something, especially now during the sale.
sonuscore has some great instruments, if you like out of the box playable instruments like this one, also check out Kirk Hunter and Tracy Collins instruments at indiginus, Tracy's instruments are very afordable i love his steel guitar it can play country, but also hawaian and even rock, great stuff, cheers
Plenty of great free stuff out their, I recomend the VAULTS by the Crowhill Co and Fracture Sounds free series of instruments - Blueprints - all work within the free kontakt player
Wow, so comprehensive for being free. One question, something that has always made me think since I found some free add-ons, which I couldn't use to market my projects. Is this royalty-free? Great Video!! 🎉🎉🎉
Thanks for the comment! It’s an amazing freebie, can’t imagine them pulling it from being free as it’s a gateway into people potentially upgrading to the payed version
This library sounds great and appigiations are remarkable . I’m a fan of Sonuscore , their instruments have presence and are sampled so perfectly. I have been using their two Elysion libraries for years and they still sound fresh. 👏👏👏🙏🙏🏿👍
hey Joe, i bought the orchestra complete 3 some time ago, great starting templates, but, even with the free one you have, you can make your own rhytms just open a blank slate, load in the instruments you want, and then to the right you can choose between a arp or a envelope, arp for short articulations and an envelope (swells) for a sustain articulation, cheers mate
@@GoOKuSj33 ah OK, it works then, i didnt know because i have the full version (TOC3) i love playable instruments, just bought Kirk hunter's adaptive chamber strings at an intro price, i also have a lot of indiginus instruments, also playable out of the box, cheers man
This is wonderful. I was wondering if it was possible to mute certain instruments within a section, for example, muting a cello within a strings section or soloing a violin out of the section?
One thing I found string libraries struggle really badly with is repeated notes on a legato patch. There's always a perceptibly long attack which destroys any chance of achieving the desired effect.
Spitfire Audio also do the free BBCSO orchestra, you should check that out too. It was so good I upgraded to the next level. Lets hope the SonuScore is as good ;-{)
No it should work within the free version, by the sounds of it it’s not located the samples correctly, I would recommend going back into native access and reinstalling/repairing the library
I feel BBCSO discover is more you every day individual sections while this is more ensemble patches, in combination they would work very well together, might be interesting doing a video looking at them both together
im using Orchestra complete for fast Sharp sound , discover for more soft and slow pieces or in the moderate you can Frame with Orchestra and add richer ensemble sound with bbco
@@Joe-blogcomposer ok, that makes sense. I'm considering using this one primarily for inspiration, and for "mock-ups" of tracks, after which I'll probably write out the full orchestra with individual parts in sheet music, with Musescore. Seems like that would increase workflow speed.
Orchestra in pop is nice when all the room is gone. In film its great but in Hip Hop and pop be nice for it to be gone. Especially if you really play keyboards. You want that control. But then again ITS FREE
I'm having the same problem. Been trying to download the zip for the last week or so, but it keeps failing. A shame as I was considering upgrading during their sale if it was any good, but I haven't been able to try it 😞
@@Joe-blogcomposer Thanks, I've tried your suggestion of using a different browser. Managed to get it downloaded using Chrome instaed of Firefox. It sounds great!!
Good grief, how on earth is this free? I share your enthusiasm for this little gem, and thanks for highlighting it. Sonuscore deserve our attention

Why the sustain presets only control the dynamics with the expression wheel and not via velocity touch?
Downloading it now. Can't believe it's free!!🔥🔥🔥🔥

Yea it’s royalty free :) and I’ll only ever show you royalty free stuff (or at least let you know it’s not in the video)
Thanks for the comment!
@@Joe-blogcomposer Awesome!! Then I'll pay more attention to the channel!! Thank you!! Best of luck and greetings from Argentina!!
I like your videos, always cool, smooth like this one. The sounds are very fine. On the Sonuscore, for now, it's free.

No you cannot load or unload instruments in the elements version, what you see is what you get.
@@GoOKuSj33 ah OK, didnt know that, thanx for the tip

I was thinking the same while I was editing this video, I believe it is possible but I’ll have to double check!
Thank you! I have downloaded and installed it. I can't wait to have a proper play with it later. Thanks again, it sounds incredible.
thanks, lovely.

When I load the NKI file in Kontakt 7, the graphics are broken and I receive no audio. Is this because I have the free version of Kontakt? Thank you.

Is it possible to use this VSTi for "conventional" orchestral scores? For example... for a classical symphony?
I would say yes!
@@Joe-blogcomposer Most likely, I need to try it! Thanks!
How is this compared to BBCSO Discover, Spitfire's free orchestra? For anyone who has worked with both, how do they compare?

Hi can you select just strings on arpeggiation
Yes! You can use the arpeggiators on any of the patches
Many thanks also occured to me whether you can change tempo on arpeggiation ?
And wondered if you can have a wide stereo field in mic configs ?
@user-sx1he1tt3q I believe it syncs to the tempo in your DAW
Ok thanks .I use standalone multitrack. Is there a wide mic config ?

It’s free, links in the video description

sad it's only for konkat :(
Exactly.

Your examples are not orchestra-like but, keyboard-like. This makes everything sounds not realistic.
How, HOW IS THIS FREE???!??!
I don't know but this is AWSOME
