How did you get Kontakt to work? Did you need to change anything in MS or in Kontakt? I have tried to get Kontakt to work in Windows 11 and on my Mac Mini M1, and I can not get a sound to play in MS on either if I use Kontakt. It loads and opens in MS but will not play a sound.

What about Finale? They've killed it already, but you can still be used. Simple, intuitive? It isn't, but if you want to draw your wife on a blank page, you can. It has resources.

Hello, As you already know, MuseHub is out of order ( macOS 14). I have installed the muse sounds and paid for a lot of third party sounds ( spitfire/OT). I lost all the links and now, museScore only available MSBasic and VST. could you help me retrieve my sounds which are in vol/SSD/_musecore/Muse Hub Instruments folder on my MAC; I tried out everything I could, but it won't work. Very cool! I have a several hundred samples that i created with my own guitar and amp ive been using. This will compliment them nicely!

I'd say a strong competitor that's been around longer is Tal Sampler. It has four layers that you can cross fade between as well as MPE support and SFZ import. Sure it's not free but it's not that expensive and once you own it, the possibilities are endless. I use it with Disco DSP Bliss. Another very powerful sampler.

Seems deceptive advertising has become the norm. That said if they had just stated right off that if you buy one library for as little as $30 you get full access to the sampler, then they'd have more integrity. And for $30 it might make a very nifty sampler particularly with MPE support and the ability to import SFZ which are libraries I create and there are a gazillion online.

Did you even notice that this duduk is mostly out of tune and doesn't even sound like the right key? I've downloaded it and couldn't use those phrases at all, it sounds super fake and out of tune. I though appreciate that you made a video about it, I was looking for a free duduk vst for a long time.

Even a plastic piano would sound beautiful if played by you.❤ I've tried this library and I love it, maybe sounds a little like the Originals Intimate (not at all of course) I'd dare to say they're almost the same but the LABS one is free and has less disk and memory usage, good for my 90s old machine 😅

Thank you so much for this review! I’m so glad you had fun with it and enjoyed the hums, the chants, and the more organic sounds. I just wanted to make a note about the pitch shifting that you’re hearing-in the examples you gave, on the upper ends of the instrument, I was actually singing every other note, as I was for the rest of the patches. So that’s my actual upper register! It is not “pitch shifted” any more than the rest of the instrument. You can see it if you go into the back end! There are some other examples where it’s stretched a bit, but on the ones you’re playing, that’s just what my voice sounds like.

Hello and thank you very much for this video :) I am actually a little disappointed with the high notes in certain patterns that don't sound as good as the low range. But except for long notes, legato and staccatos, I rarely use the high range of the cello. Maybe when it blends into the mix it sounds OK. Anyway, thanks a lot for the review. Thanks for your insight into how you use the mic positions and the demo of how different the effects of using them are. I guess it was only a matter of time before I upgraded to the pro from core but this video helped me 'pull the trigger'. That and the fact there is a half price educational discount which I was able to take advantage of. I'm not sure I would have paid the full price however. Despite the fact that technology is moving so quickly and technology's behind the sample libraries are rapidly improving the pro seems to still be able to hold it's own despite being launched around 5 years ago.

INCREDIBLE that this is free, legatos are really rare for free libraries. Combine this with other libraries like Free Orchestra from ProjectSam or BBCSO Discover and you can legitimately cover all of your bases. You would have great string shorts longs and legatos, brass longs shorts and legatos, woodwinds, percussion, piano, you'd be set!
