Great tool! Good replacement of the bloated #Kontakt, and it’s even on #iOS / #iPadOS, too. Business model is communicated overly complicated. It basically comes down to: 1) a FREE demo version including a nice demo library (on iPad). 2) a FULL version that comes with any paid library sound pack, that will unlock ALL editing and exporting features. So yeah, that’s basically a steal. Jumped in on iPad for 19,99 euro by using the current promo, otherwise it would be 29,99 or 39,99 for bigger sound packs. So still a steal, especially when compared to #NativeInstruments.

Interesting to see your use of it. I have mostly heard it used in metal and heavier rock (which i think explains that clicky kick - a great choice for those genres). It's a very distinctive vst too. I have heard many demos by one person projects that utilise it. Instantly I recognise it! Whilst I don't use it still myself any more I did get years of use from it and still recommend it to friends starting out.

can I put in my own beat and the ai voice over will adjust to it?

I'm so frustrated right now. I literally bought this instrument after watching your video and I'm having a hell of a time finding ANY information anywhere, (even on the Soundirons website) that clearly explains where to store the files on my Mac once they've been downloaded and how to access them through the Komplete Kontrol instrument panel. Now I've got the files sitting uselessly on my computer and after 2 hours of searching everywhere, all I can find are more people like you who want to show me how to use it once everything is up and running, but no one to show me how to get it up and running.

Thanks for this review! I’m a big fan of Ben Osterhouse’s instruments, and of course, I have this one! Ripple Cello, for me, is a masterpiece of sampling (on Kontakt). Ben is a one-man band, meaning he plays the cello (and other string instruments) and codes the Kontakt scripts himself. He explained many aspects of building the instrument in great detail in his excellent walkthroughs. Personally, I love all of his libraries-from the concept to the sound of his instruments, his musical taste, and the final outcomes. Perhaps his most famous library is Sospiro Strings, which you’re probably already familiar with. The most astonishing library for me, though, is Pathfinder Cello, which, like Ripple Cello, creates ensemble cello textures. Amazing! Back to Ripple Cello, I just want to point out that the library is more complex than it may appear, allowing for many nuanced interactions depending on the settings and how you play the notes. The MIDI clips are a great way to have a preset and understand how to create these specific textures. Also, the demo examples remind me of Philip Glass's music. I'm not generally a fan of Glass's music, but Osterhouse’s taste brings me to Glass's "Dracula" string quartet compositions (in a positive way) :-) BTW, in your demo, you used a pretty fast DAW tempo. Please note that the library has tempo-sync. My personal note about the realism of the textures: I agree that maybe no other known VST allows you to create these ripple-like textures, but on the other hand, the textures are at the edge of what a real cello performer could achieve. But this is the beauty of it, in my opinion: the textures sound natural, even though they might be impossible to play with real instruments. Chapeau!

Having to "apply" for a commercial license to use a particular voice on a particular song after shelling out 600 is a non-starter.

This is very useful! Thank you for making the video. It might be common knowledge, but it turns out you can also export a MusicXML file from the Score Editor, which is a slightly more configurable version of the score view that is in the piano roll. You can get to the Score Editor from the Logic Window menu: choose "Open Score Editor". That opens a separate window in Logic Pro that seems to be dedicated to the score itself. The main benefit for me is that I can define "score sets" and very carefully/specifically define which tracks are displayed. Understanding how to control what parts of the score are shown in the piano roll in the main Logic Pro window takes an advanced degree in patience (and probably quantum theory as well). After watching your video and learning about exporting the MusicXML files, I tried the export from that score editor window, and it worked beautifully. Thanks again for helping out on this.

I will get Ace at some point. I bought Synthesizer V and combine it with VoiceAI (convert to another voice) from SoundID. Works really well. The main reason is they have perpetual licenses, about 79 bucks each. Synthesizer V sounds a bit better than Ace in my experience.

If you want to extend a syllable across several notes, then you use - for the noted following the syllable you want to extend. Also I think if you input a word with multiple syllables, it will automatically assign it to each note, but you can do it manually by using [1[ and [2], etc. to indicate which syllable of that multi-syllable word you want. Also, if there is a particular word you don't like the pronunciation for, you can go into the phonetics and edit it yourself. And lastly, you can adjust the duration of the consonants and vowels in the syllable with the sliders on the notes themselves. Add to this all the different expression you can add, and the pitch editing you can do... you can make some really convincing stuff. It does take time, but the results can really be great.

Pretty cool stuff. Vocals do sound a bit not quite there. Have you checked out SynthV? Seems to achieve a very similar goal and (IMO) sounds a little better

Nice release. I only have Lost Piano and Alt Piano from Westwood, but their other offerings seem quite nice. Thankfully I have put my foot down, no more $$$ on plugins until next year :)

I have just bought Spectre (saturation), Trackspacer (ducker), Limiter by Mastering The Mix (automatic loudness), Dulcius (Librewaves), Sannox Supresser (de-esser) and Voice ID / SoundId (AI voice switcher. Not many orchestral instruments this time but I highly recommended checking them out. It did not disapoint.

I was just looking at the end of the sales from many companies ... and only found a few that were worthwhile. And yes found some great free stuff too!

Hi, I can't find a way to apply the dynamics while I play (velocity as in all libraries) I don't have a modulation wheel on my piano, help please. Thanks in 4:04 you change to velocity, im only the dynamics option....😔

How do you install it?, When I hit add to cart, it tells me "Quantity of products in cart must be 1 or less" but when I go to the Account Dashboard then go down to "Orders", it tells me that there is nothing in my cart - although it prevents me from adding the product to my cart because it says I have it in there already. Could it be that the "Orders" section in the account dashboard is not meant to show you the products in your cart? and if so, where exactly do we go then to view our orders?
