Most of ur complaints are user error. The only valid problem was the leaking oil pan. 9/10 people dont know how to drive a dct so thats why they complain about it. Very hard to believe the dealer just swapped a trans because it was "jerky". The top-end can be improved for $300. Odds are ur gf constantly creeps this car in traffic which rapes the clutch pack. Btw kia/hyundai have been using the 1.6T + 7 spd dct combo for almost a decade.

Oh I can assure you it got a new trans. Very possible she could’ve been creeping the car. Although I did tell her that’s one of the things not to do so the only time I knew she would do that is pulling in the garage. Either way it should last longer than it did. Like I said we loved the car but with the issues it just didn’t feel smart keeping it long term. May have just gotten unlucky being it was the first production year, built more towards start of covid, and the first one for sale within 100 miles when they were released, so it was one of the very very early production models.

Great option for the next car, I have a 2018 2.0T and has had zero issues and a super fun car

Have had the Accord for a few days and love it. Such a smooth, quick, all around great looking car. Loving it so far.

I’m at 50,000, and the dct is definitely smoother when you drive it harder. Hoping the the trans goes out before warranty is up lol

Yeah that transmission was setup to be abused and not driven nicely it seems. Which is quite comical to me lol

I see these people with over double the mileage with my manual (veloster) N here with barely 40k miles is insane. Had it since 5k.

The actual “N” models are such fun cars. Love those.

Yep! I agree all brands have their issues but overall I have much more faith in Honda than I do in Hyundai. Just based on personal experience. I had a 10th gen Si and was going to get an FK8 before I got my truck. Hope your issues are sorted out in your FK8. Those cars give such a great driving experience.

My 2023 N-Line has been fine so far but let me hold my tongue on that🥹it’s a great car but I’m gonna change my transmission fluid as much as I can lol 🌝

I would not worry about it! The warranty is there just incase. I think a lot of it had to do with us getting the very first production year of the car. I’m sure they’ve worked out some bugs by now!
