i use similar test boxes (chinese made thing ... as they all seem to be these days...lol...and have several others that i use on occasion... especially when this one battery goes flat or can't find it) but this has an audible buzzer... prefer that as you can hear the sound vary easier than having to watch the est box you can just listen when doing those tests (such a manipulating the blade with and without depressing he tip.. bending and then depressing tip and then releasing and see if the buzzer comes back on immediately... etc)

Haha yeah I have others but they're in my actual armoury, this is my personal one I keep on hand. It used to have a buzzer but that stopped working years ago. I don't mind not having it as listening to it for too long, like when I'm working on a bunch of blades, would just get annoying

@@askanarmourer9549 i am so used to on i find it irritating some new ones (or are they older ones?!) most don't seem to have a buzzer (battery draining apparently..).. I usually find i assume it will buzz and when it doesn't - my first thought is - damn that there weapon don't work.. then oops....
