      @@discoverwithdheeraj your videos clarifies most of the pointers, I am planning my visit to zanskar leh circuit for the first time having few queries, keeping cash would be a better idea considering remote locations also is it better for advance bookings for stays or places where stays are available will be easy to get accommodation.
      Or carrying a camp would be an option.
      Most important how and for which all places do we need permits and how can we get it in advance availability is offline or online?
      Thank You

    Hi Dheeraj, love your informative videos! Couple of questions
    1)Planning to go to Leh on 16th June, the roads will be opened? or should we postpone the plan?
    2) Can you mention some contacts for bike rental in JammuAnd also in Leh

    • @discoverwithdheeraj
      @discoverwithdheeraj  2 месяца назад

      1. By middle of June roads should be open.
      2. Not sure of Jammu but outside Leh rented bikes are not allowed for sightseeing in Ladakh., For bike rentals or bike tours in Leh Ladakh, personally, I can recommend Ladakh Bike Rental shop run by Gurmat Namgial (+91-9419980089), (+91-9419303024), ladakhbikerental@gmail.com. Dheeraj Bhai! This is Ram Godar from Hyderabad. Offlate, I stumbled upon your videos on Leh-Ladakh. You are sharing the information with lots of clarity and fine details. Bhai! I am planning a trip with my wife to Leh-Ladakh in the second week of May 2024 according to your suggested itinerary of Entry from Srinagar-Leh Raod and exit through Leh-Manali Road. As you are aware Leh-Manali Road is closed at the moment. Can I book my flight to Delhi or Srinagar and start my trip on the 15th of May hoping the Leh-Manali road will open by the end of May or should I wait till the Leh-Manali road opens and then book the tickets? What is your suggestion?

    • @discoverwithdheeraj
      @discoverwithdheeraj  2 месяца назад

      Thanks Ram bhai.. pleasure to share the information! Well, there is a 60:40 chances in favour of Manali Leh being open after middle of MAy. There could be some disruptions and road may not be fully stable but chances are likely that it should be made through/open for light vehicles at least by that time.. All is subject to good weather in the coming weeks.. last few days has not helped due to snowfall and all.

  • @pinaki79

    We r going to travel Leh through Manali - Leh highway on 4th June with family. Will road be opened on that day as per your information? We will portable oxygen can. Is that ok for some extent to avoid high mountain sickness?

    • @discoverwithdheeraj
      @discoverwithdheeraj  Месяц назад

      There is high chance that Manali Leh will open in a 1 week or so.Here is the updated status on roads: ruclips.net/user/postUgkx2xjmKZxqR6D6Q7eztEaq16GM0z0HKiSH
      Portable Oxygen do not provide enough protection. You need to carry something that can give protection for about 2-3 hrs to reach to some safe place in case of any emergency.

      Up to first two weeks of OCtober is still OK to travel on Manali Leh Highway but do not sleep between Jispa and Leh anywhere. Better you travel from Manali side to avoid traveling later in the month of OCtober and come back from Srinagar side. Check the itinerary below that you can modify and reverse but on Manali Leh, sleep first night at Solang Valley instead of Manali and second one sleep at Jispa and third Leh. Rest pretty much reverse the plan with Tso Moriri trip back to Leh.

    Is there any permission required for flying drone? How to apply??

    • @discoverwithdheeraj
      @discoverwithdheeraj  2 месяца назад

      I am not sure but have seen people fly it may be like at their will and risks.. just do not fly in border areas, sensitive military zones or populations, and no flyzone is not there as mentioned by posters and signages

    How many litres of water shall one consume per day? If you could some shed some light on that it would be great. Thank you

      I will say you should strive for like 4-5 ltrs of fluids in the day. It is more liking sipping drinkins throughout the day not like drinking in large quantities once and then taking very long break. Drinking in small qty or sips at frequent intervals through the day helps much more.

      What should the O2 levels usually be around Leh/Nubra/Pangong/Kargil?
      When would you say it is a cause for concern? Should be be between 90-95 everywhere? @discoverwithdheeraj
