Very awesome!! Used to live near there............ brings back a lot of good memories. Love the fact that you filmed this at night, the lights of Las Olas really set it off nicely! ❤️ *Thank you for all the effort you put into your videos.* 🚃🚋🚋🚋🚋🚋🚋🚋🚋🚋🚋🚋👍
RailROL82 ~ Thank you for your reply. I’m from Oakland Park. Yes, used to go out to eat there and go to coffee shops now and then. I didn’t go out to Las Olas too much just because I never had very much money when I was living there, but looking back I really wish I had spent more time there. I have not been back in a while but I really love how it looks now. Especially with the lights strung over the streets, really beautiful. When I moved away they really started fixing up the adjacent areas to Las Olas such as downtown. They had just build that two-story Publix in downtown Fort Lauderdale when I moved up north. Las Olas always looked nice but it definitely has a more glitzy look to it now. Thanks again for your video and memories. 😋
I'm assuming one track is used for freight and the other for passenger..........Brightline and Amtrak. When my friend lived in Fort Lauderdale it was Tri Rail.
Tyler Scott true I was just confused. But Tri rail and Amtrak is on different tracks. This is Bright Line and Florida East Coast. The other is CSX Tri-rail and Amtrak.
Tri rail will be using FEC tracks to go into Downtown Miami early next year. They will switch to FEC tracks just north of the Hialeah rail yard to go into Downtown Miami.
As I've said in a previous comment, E-Bells can be good OR bad, depending on their installation/maintenance. Both NS and CSX have mixed reviews on E-bells; check out NS Memphis District East (Huntsville, AL area), mixed reviews for sure.
Nice find with the high pitch safetran type 3 E bell, the high pitch ones are rare. Crossing info is unknown since the dot number is no where to be found
RailROL82 there ridership is above projected numbers, they pulled in 78000 riders just in feb. In one month there beating the rider ship of most Amtrak trains yearly numbers. Brightline is on there way to paying off the bonds early.
Gametrain Productions that is still happening. It may be along the line of virgin trains Brightline. They are acquiring bonds for the Orlando route and should start construction within the month of April. Very exciting stuff happening with Brightline
@@railrol82 Yes. I love to see if it shows STOP/ APPROACH/R E STRICTED APPROACH/ CLEAR. Any where your near R/R Traffic Signals. The flashing approach i cant quite understand. You were an Engineer or still are im supposeing fr om your 1 picture on a locomotive.

Hey RailRoal82, If you want to find a good spot with a whole bunch of crossings right next to each other with LED lights and E-bells, then I would definitely go to Hollywood, they blow the horn there crazy! And it's where I live so.

RailROL82 Your welcome.
I love your channel and I also love the graham white E bells on the trains.
Thanks! Me too. Since I am an E bell fan, I know that is a Safetran Type 3.
Great catch and video and I’m still a little confused on what you keen by freight and passenger tracks?

Exoress Delivers true.
Well, Brightline seems to be paving the way for expanded high speed rail in the USA, one city at a time.
Indeed it is! I heard they're going to Disney. Happy Thanksgiving
5:24 They REALLY need to speed up the gates or put new gates in Because The gate is not Fully lowered and the train already comes
I thought it was just me, but you just confirmed it. Thanks as always for the views and comments!
That’s probably good because the gate running rate might drop
"Tis an e-bell I hear." Best line I've heard all day. Good video, Roly.
All is well, my friend.
The e-bells are safetran type 3s
Yup The High Pitched Ones
awesome video railrol82 :)
I filmed a brightline at that exact crossing a while back
Great video! Interesting how there are still some incandescent lights on the pedestrian gated signals!
Hey R awesome catch thank you it was great, but that train still looks like big box of Lemonheads LOL :-D

Great video Roly! Love seeing you catch some live action on the rails!
Good work, very nice video!
Best regards from Croatia :-)
Virgin Trains USA actually has some mechanical bells. You should go to Tyler Street.
I appreciate the heads up. Thanks as always for the views and comments!

I think mechanical bells are more reliable and durable though...
An Ebell that sounds decent
RailROL82 me too but this is a step towards better Ebells
Excellent video!! Are those LED lights on the locomotive?
DouglasP201 yes they are, brand new nice seimen chargers
Gametrain Productions they are, new Siemens charger SCB-40

How is Brightline doing?
Street Stories great
When do they change the trains to Virgin Trains USA or did that just fall through?

Nice to see incandescent and LED lights at one crossing
RailROL82 Still, it isn’t something you get to see every day.
More signal readings would add a nice touch in entertainment.

I wonder is the Pedestian Crossing far away from this Crossing? you know the one you Filmed at the Start of the Year?
Is that a rare catch or is that normal every day
What crossing is this?
There is but it doesn't work. It says that my client has sent a malformed or Illegal request.
Nice! I have two new videos!
Nice catch can you see my new video
