The fact that Cat MX can pop up from basically anywhere honestly creates a more tense version of the original more streamlined chase sequence

Wow. Not only is this a version of Mario PC. But it also has Cat Mario gimmicks like trolls and traps. Even the fake ending caught me off guard. It’s just like Cat Mario! I really hope to see more of this!

THIS IS SUCH AN AWESOME CONCEPT!!
Having this second cat who I assume is called "onion king" (from what I've read on the Syobon Action wiki to be the main antagonist?) be the second character, playing long after Syobon has already beaten the game? And the attention to detail on all the trolls and traps is outstanding.
At first I was confused, I was like "wait, that's not how Syobon (cat mario) looks!"
But it turns out to be that one dude Syobon encounters in world 4 and the fanmade world 8, the "bowser" of Cat Mario. I love what this story means to express.
I also believe one of the guys who was credited for the project, SergioGameMaker, worked on or even developed Syobon Action Nostalg.
As a Syobon Action enthusiast and fanboy, I approve lol

The ending part got left out tho. After closing the app, it unexpectedly starts up again and he does one more sudden jumpscare scene then says "okay I'm done, bye!" with a "smile."
