I missed this game so much. Glad to see it finally being represented properly again. It's very evident that the people making this were extremely familiar with Syobon Action.
THIS IS SUCH AN AWESOME CONCEPT!! Having this second cat who I assume is called "onion king" (from what I've read on the Syobon Action wiki to be the main antagonist?) be the second character, playing long after Syobon has already beaten the game? And the attention to detail on all the trolls and traps is outstanding. At first I was confused, I was like "wait, that's not how Syobon (cat mario) looks!" But it turns out to be that one dude Syobon encounters in world 4 and the fanmade world 8, the "bowser" of Cat Mario. I love what this story means to express. I also believe one of the guys who was credited for the project, SergioGameMaker, worked on or even developed Syobon Action Nostalg. As a Syobon Action enthusiast and fanboy, I approve lol
also I know Syobon's name is misspelled and he was actually meant to be named Shobon, but I like Syobon more it makes the name unique and gives it character :>
