Besides 236S there isn't much you can do from fullscreen, you need to do stuff like superjump float and calling assists to get closer, or atleast in 214H range, other than that Cell's neutral comes down to (copypasted from @_palmtop): neutral: -in general, cell's fullscreen options in neutral are committal, but if you stay unpredictable and abuse his very strong mid/close range options you'll be fine -sj movement, jL or j214M/H to beat SD/raw tag, jM to air to air/jail back to the ground -at mid range, 214H + assist -j236H in scramble scenarios, if they air block any 236X or j236X then you're plus, j236M + assist can be used at longer ranges but if telegraphed you're getting 2H'd 100% -j236S vanish to catch landings or punish long recovery (whiffed specials), however if whiffed you're very vulnerable and if you vanish while they're air blocking j236S then you will be minus/punished (common mistakes) -5S at 3/4 screen (and closer) or dash 5S from fullscreen, his 5S doesn't reach fullscreen but it's among the fastest in the game -236X + assist at round start (or similar distance), 214H also reaches but on whiff is very punishable -2S + assist or late call defensive assist, but once again whiffing 2S leaves you vulnerable -5LL and 2M are anti reflect -214S at (near) fullscreen to catch landings since the startup is pretty subtle, another committal tool to mix in -j2M to punish whiffed ki blasts, especially if you're already in the air -call fullscreen neutral assist to catch landings/bring them to the ground and dash in to begin pressure

Especially ex pa and beam are versatile options and additionally, you shouldn't focus on getting in with cell to begin with if you are lacking the support in that situation. Rather you should punish mistakes instead. Cell is decent but nothing more when it's about getting in but he's among the best in the game when it's about denying your opponent to get in. Avoid your opponent's assists and punish their reckless rush down attemps with ex pa or your huge buttons. If ex pa is blocked you are still in a charitable situation after all😊
How are you guys doing the dj before LL and right before MLLHS ? Dj as in double jump ? I didn’t know you could double jump after LL. I know how to double jump after on the ground no idea from LL in the air.
You just press jump after LL, but you only have 1 double jump with this character until you land on the ground again, the first jump after 5M is jump cancel (so first jump), then later on in the combo you use your double jump(so second jump), if you use your double jump earlier you won’t be able to do it later unless you landed during the combo

I learned the rejump kinda backwards? Had to break them down into 2 parts. Learned the harder part first which is the rejump portion. I’d go into training mode and set my character in the corner with their back to the wall. Here I would just practice (actually jump up) SD > 66 > jM > 669 > (land) > jL > etc. this “kind’ve” simulated the portion after the super dash. You kinda know you’re progressing when the jump super dash into air dash jump medium actually connect. After that you’re basically putting in the sweatiest 669 BEFORE landing. The 66 > jM > 669 has to feel almost so fluid before you even land. Once I had this part down, I started adding the 5H > delaySD before the rejump portion. I don’t know, I hope that helps, I still drop them also, I feel like I only hit them 50%-60% of the time. I still practice them but now it’s muscle memory though.
It's barely used due its angle so i doubt it happens often even with the faster start up it has now, but you can probably catch people who aren't expecting it from time to time
