- Minsok Hanwoo in South Korea is the largest independent hanwoo beef producer in the country and I, along with some other friends, got a private tour of the farm and factory where all the beef is produced.

Hanwoo is the best beef in the world. Yea, it is rich but not to the point where you feel like you are eating beef butter, as is the case with Wagyu. What really makes Hanwoo exceptional is the richness combined with the deep beefiness. A 40 day aged Hanwoo porterhouse or ribeye cooked Korean BBQ style is the peak, peak steak experience. You cook it by cutting it and finishing each bite on the grill, maximizing the perfect bite, still sizzling with juices flowing. Specifically the Hanwoo rib cap (Koreans call it shrimp steak because it looks like a shrimp when sliced and folded) is the best bite of beef in the world. Transcendent beefiness.

Hanwoo is on my list..arguably better than Wagyu- I understand hanwoo ,well I have read a few times this last year,takes the top spot for the best beef over wagyu- certainly uk and USA
Therefore,hanwoo absolutely would love to eat one day.
Another great quality video Johnny. Whilst some people may find this confronting, this is the reality of the food we consume at an industrial scale. Too many people are disconnected from the food chain. The quality of that beef looks soooooo goooood. Enjoy!

The spinal cord scares me...I'd be afraid of prion disease. I'd also steer away from the raw beef, but I'd be more tempted by that than spinal cord...
