Kept seeing (cropped) Asian vids abt leaf-cuttings & blew it all off as a scam. Thx Robt, explaining the process so we know what to expect along the way. -- 🍒

Strepto... Sounds like a vicious day, not like a beautiful flower. Weird plants breed strong hobbies.
But, hey, Robert's love of gardening...

I’ve watched the leaf cutting video about a dozen times and have tried to propagate using this method but have never been successful, the cut leaf just seems to turn grey and disintegrate. I don’t know if its to dry, to wet, to dark or too much sun. On a positive note I have been successful at breaking the main plants apart and creating new plants that way.

I would not give them sun. For the most part I give them the same light as mother plants or a bit less. Are you putting them in a plastic bag until they root?

I guess I wasn’t watching it close enough, Ill try again and put them in a plastic bag😂. Thanks
