But the change didn't make Lahti into the shithole it is today; even back then we used to say "Lahti is pretty good place if you discount the people in it".
HIM is my ultimate favorite band ever, I bought their first album when I was 9 years old and I have a freakin' Heartagram tattooed on my left wrist. The song you listened to is from album "Dark Light" that sold gold in the States, BUT for me I suggest you listen to albums Greatest lovesongs vol. 666, Love Metal and Venus Doom, which are so amazing and nearly perfect.
I realized that the most of my favourite metal bands are Finnish. Killing Loneliness is one of my favourite HIM songs. I listen to it every single day. I'm so grateful that I manage to see them live on their last tour. Korpiklaani are actually one of the best bands to see live. Atmosphere on their concerts is so good! When it comes to folk metal, instruments like the violin and accordion are very usual. FC Lahti is Finnish football club. If you want to explore more Finnish bands, check out Amorphis.
If these songs were recommended to you, then you got recommended all the shittiest songs, tbh... Finnish metal has so much more to give! As someone from Finland who used to listen to metal for a long time, I feel someone has sold you the wrong picture of Finnish metal. Here's a short list of songs: Stam1na - Kadonneet Kolme Sanaa (Nu-metal) Finntroll - Trollhammaren (Niche, but very catchy) Children of Bodom - Needled 24/7 ("Mainstream" for a metalhead) Children of Bodom - Follow The Reaper (Same as above) Turmion Kätilöt - Paha Ihminen (Very unique, very interesting industrial metal) Twilight Guardians - La Isla Bonita (Madonna just got tolerable! ;)) Sonata Arctica - Wolf & Raven (Melodic power metal, very listener friendly) Sonata Arctica - Victoria's Secret (Same as above) Amorphis - The Bee (Chorus starts @2:07, so don't miss it) Nightwish - Wishmaster (Symphonic power metal) Tuoni - Kuolonpyörä (Some kind of melodic metalcore with death metal influences) MyGrain - Darkbound (Melodic, catchy death metal) Mors Principium Est - Monster In Me (Melodic death metal, intense) Noumena - Misanthropolis (Some kind of melodic metal) Turisas - To Holmgard and Beyond (Viking metal) Ensiferum - Iron (Power/Viking metal) Ensiferum - Token of Time (Same as above) Apocalyptica - Not Strong Enough (ft. Doug Robb of Hoobastank) (More pop-rock than metal, no guitars, only cellos) And there's so much more, I just can't remember them it all anymore. I sincerely hope you will make another video and enjoy it. All the best!
I also recommend Sentenced and Rytmihäiriö. And I'm glad to see some love for Finntroll, they're never mentioned anywhere. Blodsvept and Nattfödd are some of their best imo.
The fact that you categorize Wintersun's Sons of the Winter and Stars as one of the shittiest and then in turn recommend a whole bunch of meh instead, says more about you than the original recommendations. Points to you for that MyGrain suggestion, don't see that too often. But other than that there's even a greater amount of mediocrity in that list of yours. Can't believe Wishmaster is the best you can come up from a generational talent like Nightwish. Not even going to bother diving into bands like Sonata Arctica, Stam1na or Amorphis. *sigh* I truly hope Brian finished the Wintersun song after this video. Only 2 minutes listening to an epic masterpiece is downright blasphemous.
React to Sentenced (Finnish metal band also)! Maybe one of the older ones (Taneli Jarva singing): Nepenthe, Northern Lights, Awaiting the Winter Frost... or one of the "newer" ones (Ville Laihiala singing): Excuse Me While I Kill Myself, Noose...
Aww yeah, this I was waiting for! Your videos are absolutely amazing, subbed and seriously thinking of your Patreon. Please make another Finnish metal video, here's my 5 cents: Turmion Kätilöt - Teurastaja (industrial metal) Velcra - My Law (female fronted metal with spoken word) Amorphis - The Bee (melodic death metal) Assemble the Chariots - Engulfed by Sun (symphonic black metal) Ensiferum - Way of the warrior (power folk metal, the last 2 minutes of the video perfectly encapsulate Finnish metal soul and our culture as a whole)
Michael Monroe, the frontman of Hanoi Rocks is still active in the music scene, both on stage and as an X Factor judge. He's frozen in time somewhere, he has barely aged at all and can still pull off his acrobatics.
For the Finnish metal part 2 video I will recommend these: Insomnium - Winter's Gate Arion - Unforgivable Wolfheart - The Hunt Fear of Domination - Obsession Ember Falls - Shut Down With Me End of Aeon - Ascension Kaunis Kuolematon - En ole mitään Omnium Gatherum - New World Shadows ...and for bonus, song from my one man project :D ruclips.net/video/I4PDYc5-RVo/видео.html
Stratovarius, Sentenced, Silentium, Kiuas, Ensiferum, Entwine, Turisas, Sonata Arctica, Amorphis, to name a few that would really Love to see on the next one ;)
@Brian Velez - 7 months later, still interested if you yourself play in any band even with friends? In the reacts you seem to like guitar rifs, makes me wonder how you would like Warmen (Children of Bodom + a lot visiting members, rifs being prio) Also another totally different thing.. React to 2019 Finnish music festivals.. ie prolly the best or/and second best festival whole world johnsmith.fi/ rockfest.fi/artistit/ and some others in Finland summer www.steelfest.fi/ -- www.tuska.fi/ Edit: nice this too 100k+ views NICE!. 10 day VLOG during the festivals would net much more views as live react :-) Bet ppl all over the world are interested how it's actually like. ;)
H.I.M is my top favorite band ever. Just the greatest🤘🏻. Venus doom and Screamworks and are the best 2 albums I've ever heard in my life, for real listen to them you will love it 👍🏻
Screamworks isnt really my thing. The album sounds more pop than rock or metal. I think Venus Doom and Love Metal are their best albums. Razorblade romance and The greatest lovesongs vol 666 are also good albums.
I know HIM hasn't even been retired for a year yet but damn I miss them already. Each of their albums had a different feel to them, it was bloody brilliant. Recommend The 69 Eyes. I don't even know what song to recommend. They were first a grunge/glam band but went into gothic music later - they call themselves The Helsinki Vampires. I grew up on Finnish metal and Estonian pop - which is pretty damn weird for an American LOL.
You still managed to miss Amorphis and Apocalyptica! You should react to "Amorphis -Death of a king" and "Apocalyptica feat. Corey Taylor - I'm not Jesus"
Brian Velez Yes, i'll keep shouting till i have voice left! :D ..and dude keep up with the good work with the awesome videos!

According to the band, the actual genre of HIM is "Love Metal". They are, along with The Rasmus, one of the bands that put Finland in the map in terms of music in the early 2000s. Please, react to Negative ♥ they are/were such an underrated band, it would be nice if more people would get to know them :)
Finally some HIM, you should definetly listen more of them. They are the first and only Finnish band that has sold gold record in USA. I could give couple protips, tho you probably have researched some HIM already but im still gonna do it. So the first album Greatest Love Songs Vol. 666. Thats really heavy metal album, with some really cool vocals, both low and high vocals. The album that really exploded their career, Razorblade Romance, has some amazing hit songs, like Join Me In Death. Its more rocking album and less metal, and its really cool too. Deep Shadows And Brilliant Highlights is kinda delicate album, it has some slow songs and couple really rocking tunes like Pretending. Fourth album, called Love Metal is one of my favorites, its really rocking tho it has some long like 5-7 minutes long songs that are kinda quiet and peaceful, but include some heavy guitars. Songs like Fortress Of Tears, Loves Requiem and The Path are amazing. Dark Light, the one that sold gold in US, is amazing too, tho its my least favorite. But its great, all i can say. Their sixth album, Venus Doom is my absolute favorite. As Ville, the vocalist said "Its the heaviest pop album in the world". It has really amazing guitar riffs and its darker and heavier than all the other albums. Screamworks is straight rock, its great too, has kinda poppy sounds and melodies within and its just good. And their last album, Tears On Tape, thats kinda like Love Metal.
From one of the greatest bands that come from Finland, I think HIM's Join me or Right here in my arms, are the best known songs from them, world wide. I recommend you to check those out, they're also both one of their oldest songs that came, so there's a great chance for everyone to hear what they sounded like in the beginning. (When love and death embrace, Funeral of Hearts, Sweet Pandemonium etc. are from the "heavier department" if one can say so, imo.) For me the Dark light as an album is quite light (tho I like it ofc), but Greatest Love Song vol. 666, Razorblade Romance or Love Metal... Those are just unbeatable, if we're talking about their greatest albums. Also one should know, that there ain't HIM no more since I was on their last concert known so far last year, sadly... Their music will live on tho!
About Wintersun: this song "Sons of Winter and Stars" you can find as a live Studio-Version in YT. Their Drummer on the album is Kai Hahto, the actual drummer of Nightwish and their Bassist Jukka Koskinen is also the actual Nightwish-Bassist. He replaces Marko Hietala. So the chircle closes.
Hanoi Rocks is one of the few bands to have influenced a lot of 80's rock (Guns N' Roses, LA Guns, Poison, Foo Fighers, Sex Pistols, many more) without being massive themselves and practically single handedly brought up the entire Sunset Strip Hair Metal Scene.
You missed Turisas. I recommend that! :) Hanoi Rocks was founded on the 70's, and Tragedy was released on '81. Korpiklaani is one of my favourite bands :) ^^
You should listen Pahempi Toistaan by Apulanta. They sing in finnish but it’s the main riff what makes that song so awesome. It was actually voted for The Finnish Riff of alltime.
Muthdarr Joo mustakin Cobain on hieman yli arvostettu vaikka hyviä biisejä tekikin. Ja Wirtanen ei oo ehkä mikään hirvee riffittelijä mut hyviä sanoituksia äijä vääntää.
I don't know if you are gonna keep on doing these Finnish songs but you really should check out Sonata Arctica, Stratovarius, Battle Beast and Leverage. Outside metal genre I would suggest the truly awesome women vocals of Jenni Vartiainen (especially Missä muruseni on) and Chisu. Also since you liked JVG in previous videos, I recommend Teflon Brothers - Lähiöunelmii. Love how much you enjoy the music, keep on rocking!
1. You still didnt react to HIM Join me which is their most famous song that is known across the globe. What the blin? I just wanna know if u recognize that song. 2. I am not Finnish but I live in Lahti and that Korpiklaani song was a nice surprise even though I dislike football, but love Korpiklaani. ☺️🤙🏻
Noooice. really like these reactions. Well, there are still these: -Amberian Dawn ( The Forest ) -Beast in Black ( Blind and Frozen ) -Battle Beast ( King for a Day ) -Sonata Arctica ( Don't say a word ) Some of my favourites
Hey, even I got to hear some new things! I haven't been keeping up with new good music lately. (New as in released within the past 10 years.) Next up: you absolutely have to do Amorphis. There is no excuse not to, and I don't even care which song. The Bee, Death of a King, Sky Is Mine, Silver Bride, Silent Waters, Amongst Stars, just to mention a few. Then there's Stam1na. I highly recomment Kuudet Raamit (which has a 360° music video) or Kadonneet Kolme Sanaa (which has a 360p music video). Maybe do a newer song of Children Of Bodom as well, In Your Face or Needled 24/7 give you good insight on the band's later direction in their 20 year history. Those songs kick ass but my heart always goes to their older stuff. If you really wanna have fun, find a live version of Lake Bodom the solo play is pretty great. You won't get there in two minutes though. And finally do No One There by Sentenced and cry your manly eyes out.
Michael Monroe the singer of Hanoi Rocks and guitarist Andy McCoy are pretty big celebrities still today in Finland. Monroe has also a succesful solo-career, he is still making new music and makes energetic gigs, eventhough he is really old now. :) Andy McCoy is/was actually a good friend of Bam Margera and he was featured in many of his movies/shows. He is kind of Ozzy Osbourne of Finland in good and/or worse. :)
With Wintersun I definitely recommend listening to the whole songs on your spare time. Especially from the Time album those are my absolute favourite works of art and just a few minutes doesn't do justice to those songs ;) It's not only the instrumental parts that are fantastic. There are also fantastic vocals that are 50% growling and 50% melodic singing. Cannot recommend it enough man!
Aah - wish you'd had Pretending by HIM ... my favourite track of theirs and a great video. Have you featured the band Apulanta, yet? Another excellent Finnish bändi - and they sing in Finnish, too. Edit: just ran a search in your videos - you featured their Pahempi Toistaan track - fantastic choice!
Swedish metal: Sabaton, In Flames, At the gates, Raubtier, Meshuggah, Hammerfall, Ghost, Entombed, Twilight Force, Opeth, The Haunted, Amon Amarth, Arch Enemy, Dark Funeral!
If you make a second version and want finnish metal bands that are the best outside of the ones you've already heard you will pick some of the following: Mors Principium Est - Reclaim the Sun Ensiferum - Into Battle Mokoma - Pahaa Verta Kalmah - Groan of the Wind Sonata Arctica - Don't Say a Word Diablo - Read My Scars Moonsorrow - Aurinko ja Kuu Kiuas - Spirit of Ukko Fear of Domination - Sick And Beautiful Whispered - Sakura Omen Bloodred Hourglass - Architects
Hi Brian! If you decide to venture further into Finnish metal, here's a few recommendations: Turisas(folk/hero metal), Teräsbetoni(hero metal) and Steve'n'Seagulls(folk metal cover band). Let me know if you enjoy them. Have a nice week.
I think so too. But I'm not sure if he'd get much out of it. For me Stam1na is a weird metal band where their lyrics are the most important thing for me. Viimeinen Atlantis being my favorite album, I don't find too many good stand alone riffs from the album but the story it takes the listener through is amazing.
FC means football club and Lahti is name of their hometown :) Korpiklaani is one of the biggest folkmetal bands in Finland, also very popular amongst beer drinking german metalheads. Big gigs in Wacken-metalfest etc. Another finnish metal band named Senteced has also done "goalsong" for sports team Kärpät named Routasydän, check that also if you want.
In a previous video, you listened to 'bittersweet'. This was from apocalyptica, together with ville valo, singer of HIM, and Lauri ylonen, the singer from The Rasmus. Lovely how it comes together sometimes, isn't it? 😏
Hi Brian, love your work! If you do a part 2, maybe consider reacting to Sonata Arctica or Stratovarius, they are both power metal. Greetings from Finland!
The quitarist Alexi Laiho of Children of Bodom has actually been named the best metal quitarist of the world :)

Next time, Amorphis and Sentenced should find their place in your video!
Sentenced - ever frost!
Sentenced - Excuse me while I kill myself
sentenced cross my heart and hope to die / end of the road / no one there
Yes listen to Pyres On The Coast!
Definitely Sentenced. Any song will do but I recommend Excuse me while I kill myself or Killing me killing you.
If these songs were recommended to you, then you got recommended all the shittiest songs, tbh... Finnish metal has so much more to give!
As someone from Finland who used to listen to metal for a long time, I feel someone has sold you the wrong picture of Finnish metal.
Here's a short list of songs:
Stam1na - Kadonneet Kolme Sanaa (Nu-metal)
Finntroll - Trollhammaren (Niche, but very catchy)
Children of Bodom - Needled 24/7 ("Mainstream" for a metalhead)
Children of Bodom - Follow The Reaper (Same as above)
Turmion Kätilöt - Paha Ihminen (Very unique, very interesting industrial metal)
Twilight Guardians - La Isla Bonita (Madonna just got tolerable! ;))
Sonata Arctica - Wolf & Raven (Melodic power metal, very listener friendly)
Sonata Arctica - Victoria's Secret (Same as above)
Amorphis - The Bee (Chorus starts @2:07, so don't miss it)
Nightwish - Wishmaster (Symphonic power metal)
Tuoni - Kuolonpyörä (Some kind of melodic metalcore with death metal influences)
MyGrain - Darkbound (Melodic, catchy death metal)
Mors Principium Est - Monster In Me (Melodic death metal, intense)
Noumena - Misanthropolis (Some kind of melodic metal)
Turisas - To Holmgard and Beyond (Viking metal)
Ensiferum - Iron (Power/Viking metal)
Ensiferum - Token of Time (Same as above)
Apocalyptica - Not Strong Enough (ft. Doug Robb of Hoobastank) (More pop-rock than metal, no guitars, only cellos)
And there's so much more, I just can't remember them it all anymore.
I sincerely hope you will make another video and enjoy it.
All the best!
We were thinking about the same...
I also recommend
Sentenced and Rytmihäiriö.
And I'm glad to see some love for Finntroll, they're never mentioned anywhere. Blodsvept and Nattfödd are some of their best imo.
Couldn't agree more.
Great list. Just wanted to point out Nightwish again as they pretty much started the symphonic metal genre.
*sigh*
I truly hope Brian finished the Wintersun song after this video. Only 2 minutes listening to an epic masterpiece is downright blasphemous.
@@jugi1850 Wintersun was the one good band there. I tried to recommend decent mainstream metal, with a few more interesting bands.
HIM surely has gained a huge popularity in Finland even if they're not so much in the spotlight anymore. They're music has stayed iconic.
Please make another Finnish metal video, here's my 5 cents:
Turmion Kätilöt - Teurastaja (industrial metal)
Velcra - My Law (female fronted metal with spoken word)
Amorphis - The Bee (melodic death metal)
Assemble the Chariots - Engulfed by Sun (symphonic black metal)
Ensiferum - Way of the warrior (power folk metal, the last 2 minutes of the video perfectly encapsulate Finnish metal soul and our culture as a whole)
Michael Monroe, the frontman of Hanoi Rocks is still active in the music scene, both on stage and as an X Factor judge. He's frozen in time somewhere, he has barely aged at all and can still pull off his acrobatics.
Sentenced was also a wonderful metal band from Finland. I recommend 'Noose', 'Killing Me Killing You' or 'Ever-Frost'.
Add next Finish metal list AMORPHIS !!! Or just a regular list but i need Amorphis :D Great songs by them :
- Among stars / The Bee / Death of a King.
Also Song of the sage, silent waters, born in fire, hopless days....
They have so many good songs!
True, band who has released 13 studio albums got so much to offer.
House of Sleep
The smoke
Been listening to them for years! I also really like Towards and against, and Perkele (The God of Fire). The list goes on!
Children of Bodom, power metal? That smells of heresy right there.
they are Extreme power metal
@@MrJosdp extreme metal or melodic death metal o fucking mole
@@MrJosdp HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHA you got me bro
Joris de paepe they are melodical death
It is what it is.
For the Finnish metal part 2 video I will recommend these:
Insomnium - Winter's Gate
Arion - Unforgivable
Wolfheart - The Hunt
Fear of Domination - Obsession
Ember Falls - Shut Down With Me
End of Aeon - Ascension
Kaunis Kuolematon - En ole mitään
Omnium Gatherum - New World Shadows
...and for bonus, song from my one man project :D ruclips.net/video/I4PDYc5-RVo/видео.html
Definitely Omnium Gatherum and Insomnium yeassss
joskus näemmä kannattaa vähän lueskella kommenttejakin, toi Kaunis Kuolematon kolahti sen verran kovaa, että kiitos siitä.
@@ainolcrystal6182 no olkaa hyvä vaan :D kaks albumia näiltä on ilmestyny ja kolmas olis tuloillaan
Finally he reacted to HIM :)
Einar Kouki 😃🤟🏼❤️
But boring song, they have much better
Yes I agree, there are SO many songs which are better from HIM. They are still my favorite finnish band ever, since almost 20 years 😍
Thank you for reacting! I’m pretty sure you’re one of the firsts if not the first who has ever reacted Hanoi Rocks in RUclips.
Stratovarius, Sentenced, Silentium, Kiuas, Ensiferum, Entwine, Turisas, Sonata Arctica, Amorphis, to name a few that would really Love to see on the next one ;)
Turisas 🙌🏼💛
Diablo
Nightwish...
Finntroll is a must
@Brian Velez - 7 months later, still interested if you yourself play in any band even with friends? In the reacts you seem to like guitar rifs, makes me wonder how you would like Warmen (Children of Bodom + a lot visiting members, rifs being prio)
Also another totally different thing.. React to 2019 Finnish music festivals.. ie prolly the best or/and second best festival whole world johnsmith.fi/ rockfest.fi/artistit/ and some others in Finland summer www.steelfest.fi/ -- www.tuska.fi/
Edit: nice this too 100k+ views NICE!. 10 day VLOG during the festivals would net much more views as live react :-) Bet ppl all over the world are interested how it's actually like. ;)
Thank you!! Finally a reaction to HIM, my favourite band ever
You should listen The 69 Eyes - Wasting the dawn.
Best song of the band imo!
Omg I love HIM ahhh
Thank you so much for reacting to HIM :')
Thank you for reacting to my reaction XD
I love your positivity. You try to find the elements of the songs that you like, even when you are not that into the song as a whole. Respect!
The riff of Tragedy sounds like I Was Made For Lovin' You by KISS
U really need to listen HIM songs MORE! This band is so unique & made a lot of masterpices!
I absolutely LOVE this series of yours! Very entertaining! I just discovered it by a lucky accident and this is awesome stuff. Thanks!!
I really recommend checking out that Wintersun song on your own, it only gets better after that first 2 minutes.
As a Finnish guys, I love your videos! These are just pure diamond. Keep it up man!
For the next one you HAVE TO include a band called Turmion Kätilöt!
HeidiRoxx saatanan tornion kääpiöt
Just found your channel and loved it. Your positivity is so genuine! Respect for giving so much attention for Finnish music. :)
You still managed to miss Amorphis and Apocalyptica! You should react to "Amorphis -Death of a king" and "Apocalyptica feat. Corey Taylor - I'm not Jesus"
SuppressedSheep Yes, we'll have to keep on SHOUTING AT BRIAN😂
Hahahahaha KEEP SHOUTING GUYS, I COULD BARELY HEAR YOU! Omg that’s crazy! Corey Taylor from Slipknot!
Jonne Aaron. 💕
Yes! Thank you!
Next HIM - "Join me"
And Apulanta - "Pahempi toistaan"
Do beast in black- blind and frozen ( reactions on that song are always funny as hell)
Other good one is sonata arctica
Their music will live on tho!
the fact that we finnish have a metal band for kids is kind of awesome
We have to start them young!
I hoped that u would've included sentenced which is an amazing band
you're the next Dave Cad
You missed Turisas. I recommend that! :)
Hanoi Rocks was founded on the 70's, and Tragedy was released on '81.
Korpiklaani is one of my favourite bands :) ^^
Thank you, introducing new bands and music to me. Keep doing what you're doing. Dont forget "The 69 eyes" next time. ;)
Greatings from Finland! Nice videos. Suggestion: Amorphis - Smoke, Battle Beast - King of the day
Sentenced - Noose
You should listen Pahempi Toistaan by Apulanta.
They sing in finnish but it’s the main riff what makes that song so awesome.
It was actually voted for The Finnish Riff of alltime.
Kasper Kankkunen really? i dont see anything special in that song.... could name 100 better riffs from finnish metal :o

Finaly you do this Brian.
_finaly_
*Finn*ally 😂
Hahahahaha omg people are savages. They are killing me with them correcting your grammar 😂😂😂
I would love to see another one of these! And if you do, please react to Turmion Kätilöt. Great video!
Finland=Metal country of the world. Proud to be a Finn!
Mokoma - Kuu saa valtansa auringolta
Noooice. really like these reactions.
Well, there are still these:
-Amberian Dawn ( The Forest )
-Beast in Black ( Blind and Frozen )
-Battle Beast ( King for a Day )
-Sonata Arctica ( Don't say a word )
Some of my favourites
Hey, even I got to hear some new things! I haven't been keeping up with new good music lately. (New as in released within the past 10 years.)
Next up: you absolutely have to do Amorphis.
INSOMNIUM - While We Sleep is a beautiful metal song, check it!
React to The Phantom of the opera - nightwish. And more HIM 😀
YES!
Yes please do!!
Right Here In My Arms by Him🤘
Aah - wish you'd had Pretending by HIM ... my favourite track of theirs and a great video.
Have you featured the band Apulanta, yet? Another excellent Finnish bändi - and they sing in Finnish, too. Edit: just ran a search in your videos - you featured their Pahempi Toistaan track - fantastic choice!
You should check out FInnish band called Battle Beast. And their song Black Ninja or some other.
Riku Pihlajamäki I just waited someone would trow this song forward, because she have the best voice ever! Note Brian! \m/
You should also check their new songs, like king for a fay or familiar hell!
And the Supergroup The Northern Kings.
One of the members of hanoi rocks died in the car accident that Mötley crew singer Vince Neil drowe!
Swedish metal: Sabaton, In Flames, At the gates, Raubtier, Meshuggah, Hammerfall, Ghost, Entombed, Twilight Force, Opeth, The Haunted, Amon Amarth, Arch Enemy, Dark Funeral!
AntoonV Deathstars too!!
Sabaton❤❤❤
Meshuggah!
YES!!!
Omg you did miss dark tranqility
Your channel is in my TOP 10. Thank you.
Korpiklaani-Vodka👊🏽
You have to listen Sturm Und Drang! That was my favourite band when i was child.
Btw your screams are pretty good man how long have you practiced?
The videos for: Soltary Man, And Love Said No, Buried Alive by Love and The Sacrament by HIM, were directed by Bam Margera
For the next part, I suggest Amorphis, Apocalyptica, Finntroll and Turmion Kätilöt.
Yes! Finntroll is a must for any list of finnish metal!
If you make a second version and want finnish metal bands that are the best outside of the ones you've already heard you will pick some of the following:
Mors Principium Est - Reclaim the Sun
Ensiferum - Into Battle
Mokoma - Pahaa Verta
Kalmah - Groan of the Wind
Sonata Arctica - Don't Say a Word
Diablo - Read My Scars
Moonsorrow - Aurinko ja Kuu
Kiuas - Spirit of Ukko
Fear of Domination - Sick And Beautiful
Whispered - Sakura Omen
Bloodred Hourglass - Architects
I’m a die hard HIM fan
Hi Brian! If you decide to venture further into Finnish metal, here's a few recommendations: Turisas(folk/hero metal), Teräsbetoni(hero metal) and Steve'n'Seagulls(folk metal cover band). Let me know if you enjoy them. Have a nice week.
Steve'n'seagulls ! You would LOVE that. Classic rock/metal songs made into hillybilly form!
As a finnish metalhead myself I loved watching this so much! \m/
you need to react to STAM1NA!
@@joonamikkonen2774 the live performance is something crazy with stam1na
topias nylen stam1na on kyl 🤟 sukulainen laulajana
The vocalist of HIM Ville Valo is actually the same guy who sings in the Apocalyptica video Bittersweet with Lauri Ylönen (the vocalist of Rasmus)
I’ve never clicked this fast
FC means football club and Lahti is name of their hometown :) Korpiklaani is one of the biggest folkmetal bands in Finland, also very popular amongst beer drinking german metalheads. Big gigs in Wacken-metalfest etc. Another finnish metal band named Senteced has also done "goalsong" for sports team Kärpät named Routasydän, check that also if you want.
Finntroll. Try it.
Sonata arctica full moon is also very good finnish metal song
niin on ❤️
WHY NO ENSIFERUM ... ah there is Wintersun on the video ... I give you a pass. 😁
Jako1987 fun fact the singer in winter sun did play in ensiferum
In a previous video, you listened to 'bittersweet'. This was from apocalyptica, together with ville valo, singer of HIM, and Lauri ylonen, the singer from The Rasmus.
Lovely how it comes together sometimes, isn't it? 😏
Fc lahti is footbal team in here finland
OHHHH!!! Jesus a few months back I met a soccer player from that team! I wish I had known about this then XD
Hi Brian, love your work! If you do a part 2, maybe consider reacting to Sonata Arctica or Stratovarius, they are both power metal. Greetings from Finland!
I can not explain how much I loved HIM as a teen.
Like someone said before me, if you loved the Wintersun song you really have to listen to it entirely. It's a modern masterpiece of music for sure.
