Glad to hear! I've found the hardest part is getting it in the air, after that it's a great flyer. If the sail keeps wanting to fall to one side after it comes up, I found letting go the second the sail is vertical will stop this as the weight is then evenly distributed on the strings, rather than it sitting in your hand.
@@alancook10 Brilliant! Thanks for the tips. I can see from the videos that I've watched that the launch is the tricky bit. I'm looking forward to the challenge. I'll wear a GoPro for sure to capture the fails hahaa..
I was using a 6ch orangeRx. I moved on from spektrum so I'm not familiar with the new radios but i would assume the setup should be the same, if not very close to this.
Thanks, you got me close. Using Spectrum DX6e, brake still goes up on elevator channel, both servos still move on left and right. Left, aileron goes up, elevator goes down. Right, aileron goes down, elevator goes up. any ideas. Thanks again.
Did you set the servo travel to 0? I set the servo travel to 0 before mixing anything. Go to the travel setup and hold the stick in the position where the arm goes up, it should move the box to the one that needs set to 0. Do that for aileron and elevator. Let me know if that works
Used your two mixes, had to add a ail, ele and ail, ail mix. then took out the ele arm going up with down ele with travel. ready to go. time to get this puppy in the air. Thanks for your help, Happy Flying.
Alan Cook get your maiden yet? I unfortunately had my motor or esc go out mid flight only about 3min in, idk if I did something wrong or faulty parts. It went out and beeped and just pulses when trying to use throttle, Hobby King said to sent it in for diagnostic. I ordered a second one while I wait for them to fix the other one lol, but had my maiden with the new one tonight and same thing about 3 min in... lands not problem but the motor super hot, won’t spin freely even with the battery disconnected. So idk what’s going on. Any ideas?
@@justinchristianson1866 I have one flight on mine. I didn't have any esc or motor problems but I did notice the motor was pretty hot for a "regular" flight. Are you using a 3s battery? I wanted to use a 4s because it hardly has enough power to roll itself on a smooth surface but opted not to as the motor was quite hot on a 3s.
Alan Cook yes I was using the recommended battery I bought with it the 3s 5000mah rhino. So I had to send it in, and they said the motor had a short so are sending me a new one. But I the mean time I had ordered a second one and same thing about 3minutes in the motor burned up/shorted. So I ended up just using the motor and esc from a different plane and seems to work but still motor gets pretty warm
@@alancook10I noticed the travel settings for your aileron was 0 and 150 and the settings for your elevator was 139 and 0. I have the DX9 but it only allows me to change both numbers at the same time. Do you know how I can change both numbers individually?
@@alancook10I figured out how to change the numbers individually but when I pull down the left arm moves down, when I push up the right arm moves down. When I push the stick to the right but arms go down and when I push the stick to the left, both arms don’t move. I have the settings swapped but I followed your directions. Do you know what I’m doing wrong? Any help is greatly appreciated.
@@alancook10I was able to reverse the aileron and it helped a little. When I push the stick to the left, the left arm moves down. When I move the stick to the right, the right arm moves. However when I pull down nothing happens but when I push up only the right arm moves. If I rereverse the aileron, the same situation happens as I previously described. Both right and left stick work correctly but moving up moves one arm down and pulling down doesn’t move any arms.
Up and running in 5 minutes ! Got me out of trouble too, never would have figured this on my own, thanks for sharing, much appreciated
Perfect thank you! After a day struggling with mixes... this sorted me out in 5 minutes.

Thanks for the radio setup, it took all the guess work out of the issue!
I have an IX12 spektrum and I can not seem to tune it on my paramotor. Can you help me?
What receiver are you using ? I have a NX 6 ? I’ll try your mixing as soon as I get paramotor from preorder. Thanks

@@alancook10 thanks for letting me know. Appreciate it. Do u think I could buy an orange rx and it would work with my nx 6 ?

Just got mine and I have the dx6 gen3, I’m going to try your mixes! Thanks! You maiden it yet?
I unfortunately haven't had the chance to maiden it yet. Hopefully tomorrow if the weather cooperates. I'll probably post a gopro video of it on here.
