The HobbyKing™ Paramotor is extremely easy to fly due to its very gentle and stable flight characteristics yet once you are used to it, it will perform loops and rolls with ease. Cool little gadget for radio setup. It took me a while to get it programmed on Spektrum, but I got it working. Details in my build video for anyone that needs help.

Just bought the Hacker mixer after watching this. Thank you so much for the info. I have a cheap radio and this makes things so much better. I've had my paramotor for almost 2 years and was afraid to finish it because I couldn't program mixes and didn't want to buy another radio. Best $24.99 I've spent in a long time.

Pilot Robert, I just watched your video about the crash of the Super Cub from a couple months back. I left a comment about what I think was the biggest factor in why that sexy plane went down. I've owned quite a few cubs, and slowly feeding in the power on takeoff applies to ALL tail dragger airplanes. You can hammer the throttle if it has a nosewheel, but you must be slow and easy with the tailwheel. But hey, your channel is the best, what else can I say? =)
@@lookingupforjesus The power choice on that bird was just to big. Captain Blaž gave that bird to our friend so he will fix it and have perfect fun all over again. But I have found the second one on 4S totaly the same bird for 90€. Iam really thinking to get it and try it. I would really love to test how it flyes.

I heard about H-king selling and I bought it yesterday.
I really wanted to do the Paramotor.
But two of my friends died in a Para Motor accident.
Since then, Paramotor has never been a hobby.
So this purchase is meaningful.
It is to achieve dream through RC.

You gonna love this paramotor so much! I just flew mine and it was perfect. Worth every €
That was a whole lot easier than the older version with the all metal [chassis]. All the strings had to be grouped, measured, cut to length, then bound into the nylon harness. Then the trimming started for CG. Interestingly enough, the mixing was for delta, on lo rates. After a few wipeouts, it all pans out and becomes enjoyable. Looking forward to the maiden, boys. Let's wish for clear skies.

Well done guys on yet another interesting video! I have followed you guys for the past 12 or so months and it just dawned on me that you have unboxed at least one new plane every week! Just counting them back to January the numbers are quite incredible! It's great for us your followers to see so many new and interesting models but you must be spending more on them than the total Australian defence force budget! If you get to much torque steer to the left on cruise power, best remedy is to shorten the right risers or lengthen the left risers at the trike and you wont need that much travel to turn left or right

Wow, thank you so much for all the helpful set up and trimming tipps, as well as for the hint to the paramixer. (Lindinger should really consider granting you a discount; the mixer is on restock already 😎).
My initial - and unbeatable cheap - solution was a standard v-tail mix plus a rubber band holding the brake stick in the upper position - anything but elegant, but it works! However, 20 bucks is not much, if only for not looking like a complete dilettante🤪.
Oh yeah my friends. There are ways, but I thought that for beginner pilot this could be the easiest way to enjoy paramotor. And to tell you the truth even I dont have time to screw with the radio too much.
When you and Captain Blaz both have your paramotor you're going to have to get Captain David to do your camera work when you both have your paramotors in the sky.
That will be perfect video all over again.

I all so took your advice and bought a RC Paramixer from hackers I have a spektrum DX9 black edition.... and was wondering if you could make a video on how to set up your radio with the rc paramixer as for some reason it's still not working properly to be able to fly it yet 😥

I salute you for this, but if one was to use the alternative method without the Hacker, which wing type in the transmitter would you start with?
Ok, I already worked out the answer - Wing type Normal, select dual aileron and adjust endpoints so left moves only left and right moves only right, and you can get rid of down elevator.
Iam using Spektrum DX9. There is great video of designer of this Paramotor where he explains perfect how to set all this in the radio. You can find them on the HK site where the Paramotor is under videos. There wont be any other manual for this.

I have the HK Paramotor and the Hacker mixer. When I plug the mixer in the arms do not move like they are supposed to.
I tried different setting on my Spektrum DX9 transmitter, but still cannot get it to work correctly.
Would you please tell me how to set the transmitter, Model type?, wing type?, servos reversed? mixes?
