Brilliant arrangement of quotes. As for Twelve - Such an intriguing combination of things and aspects, very particular type of... Ah, I just freakin love him. I freakin love the Doctor in general, but damn, do I love this particular version.
I know, he's just my Doctor... And my love for Peter Capaldi just fuels my adoration for Twelve. And his acting makes this character even deeper, I'm just argh, I want him to stay the Doctor forever.
Cutthroat Bitch Oh yes. I must admit that I wasn't familiar with Mr. Capaldi's previous work (except, of course, the time he was in series 4) When Moffat first made this announcement how there was basically just one person on the list and they didn't even hold a casting / felt that they absolutely needed to utilize this guy eventually, I thought it was basially the expected marketing exageration, but then I saw him in action and realized that he's really *that* good. I suppose that's what happens when you give an accomplished, experienced person their childhood dream job, I love how he's as much of a fanboy as anyone else and adds his own imput here and there, but seriously, he's awesome and delivers some pretty detailed performances, he just eclipses everyone else on set. And he's ridiculously cute in interviews. Oh, and having the prettiest, most expressive eyes ever is certainly a nice bonus on top of all the rest. They definitely need to keep him around a while... I've just finished his very first season and I already know I'm going to bawl like a four year old in the most inelegant way possible when he leaves. ...seriously, tho. Eccleston was the one who first made me love the character and his version has been my favorite ever since, even after I went on to witness his brilliant sucessors and predecessors, I've been a fan of this show for five years now, but now I must admit that 12 has totally stolen my heart.
Kendrix Havlik Well... I wasn't a whovian until Peter Capaldi came in - I'm big fan of him so when he was announced as a new Doctor I decided to watch it and has never regretted it ever since. For me, PCap is one of the most talented actors and a very nice person too - he's very generous and giving and overall just a good human being. For the Twelfth Doctor, to be honest, I am not amazed that people love him - I know that Capaldi is an astonishing actor and experience says it all... He brought so much depth into the character, seriously, you can make ten tributes and you still have a lot to tell, this video covers just a fraction of his character. I love this reincarnation and he's definately my Doctor in many ways.
Cutthroat Bitch I get what you're saying, and I agree that part of what makes Capaldi special is that he has spectacular *physical* skill that just flows all through his scenes. Look at how he uses his hands, for instance. He's experienced enough to made his whole body, and of course is voice, into the perfect instrument to express not just words but emotion and thought. Wow, is all.
I know! It was devastating, I'm still crying over it( and the moment when the Doctor crashed the console - bloody killed me, it was a low blow to me. Capaldi's acting was flawless
Cutthroat Bitch Yes! The guy is amazing, billion watt intensity and high-strung intelligence just crackling off him. Thanks for fine work that celebrates that.
that is actually the best praise i ever heard so far! Thank you so much it warmed my heart a lot :3 unfortunately, I'm far behind Kate, because she's a pro and she's very talented girl ^^, she's just amazing
AWESOME video!! I LOVE it SO MUCH!!! Your editing is amazing; it's really fast and it fits the pace of the song. This shows the Twelfth Doctor so well!! I love Peter as the Doctor.
Oh MY GOD!! This was amazing! You keep getting better every time! Seriously there were some parts that were so good i just went yesss Pleaseee make more!!!
Superb editing and production , let go of Matt smith .. u must let go .. this is The doctor! I found the many appearances of smith to detract from the fact that this is twelves tribute. other than that A++
well, i didn't really need to let go, since I started to watch DW just because of Peter Capaldi. Eleventh appeared so much because this is a reflection of consequences of Trenzalore and saving Gallifrey - from which Twelve's doubt of whether he's a good man or not grows
+sorgans sorgan tardis.wikia.com/wiki/Twelfth_Doctor Also, you might want to check the title of the video and the fact that he refers to himself as the twelfth incarnation on the show :). Officially, he is Twelve, whether you like personally like it or not. Nice attempt at trolling, though. May I suggest you enjoy the clip instead?
I love it, absolutely amazing. I know what the song is, but is it possible to get a download link to the song itself if possible? It really is great and is a great fit for the Doctor. Great video!
thank you! Um, i downloaded it from the russian source (pleer.com/tracks/89320180MyQ), so if you click the icon with and arrow pointing downwards, it should in theory work.
I like this new doctor, but I'm mystified by his actions during the Moon episode. I get the connection about the moon being an egg... it was just not a very good story... IMO. I've watched it twice and the Doctor was totally enigmatic. ???? Was that ever properly explained and I just didn't get it.
Molly Denam He was disgusted by the astronaut woman wanting to kill the creature without even considering the fact that it's a unique baby alien, but when he saw how Clara was defending the alien he left them to sort it out because humanity was literally fighting over whether or not they should blow up their moon.
Capaldi is great. However, I think the writing this season leaves much to be desired. It's not bad, but it's no where near to what we've seen in the past seasons.
Actually I loved the writing. The majority of episodes left me either speechless or in tears, but it's may be I am not RTD lover as such. And the finale is my new favourite. Though I must say, the eleventh hour is still my favourite opening.
Cutthroat Bitch RTD? Read the docs? You mean lore? I hated this season, it was watered down, and had none of the mystery, suspense or cliff hangers of the previous seasons. Nothing of interest at all going on, just an unfunny serious doctor doing random things every week, which have nothing to do with the previous week, nor the next week. Except for clara and her relationship, which no one cared about anyways... I liked the old doctor who, where every episode was a piece of a larger puzzle, which finally came together at a specific point in the series. There was none of that, and this is why I loved doctor who.
Richard Smith A pity it didn't work for you. I'm one of those who went to sporadic watching with Tenent, and stopped midway through Smith. I came back to see what Capaldi would be like, and the fusion of his performance and some brilliant, thoughtful, character-strong writing has won me over completely.
Richard Smith Actually Richard I felt that this season's less serialised approach granted it more freedom to be more creative and explore new ideas. I mean in my opinion Flatline featured the most original and exciting concept ever, probably since the show came back in 2005. Nothing about that story was watered down or lacking mystery, far from it. If anything this season has been the most controversial and inventive than past seasons as Russell T Davies (RTD) had a penchant for the overly dramatic and silly, it became incredibly formulaic and he relied heavily on showdowns and bloated set pieces to make up for the lack of decent characterisation or plot. This season has thrown that all out the window and was very much substance over style and it had a Doctor that suits that approach right down to the ground. I love classic and 'NuWho' and my previous favourite was Ecclestone but Capaldi is now, hands down, my favourite Doctor.
Dave Scott Without a running plot, nothing drives me to keep watching. It is easier for those with a bad attention span though, but this, to me, feels watered down. I have no interest in shows that do not give me an incentive to keep watching, maybe that is a fault of my own. Eccleston was my least favorite of the new series'. Apparently we watch for opposing reasons, and personally, if the show carries on this way, you can have it. Maybe the show will get more viewers with its new 'user friendly' approach, but honestly, i feel like they could do both. Why not keep the new format, but keep a running series plot that builds as well... I feel like they took it out only to make it easier for themselves and for the less dedicated viewers.
John Gates i think you are justo another Clara's hater. The actual protagonist of the vídeo was Capaldi, that "she had too strong of presence over everyone" was just "i was too busy hating Clara to apreciate the rest of the vídeo". She is not muy favourite character neighter, but you people need to yet over it.
Who's here after capaldi announcing he's leaving and now sad :(
When I watched it, I wasn't this satisfied with series 8, but in retrospect, I found it very enjoyable with some new fan favorites of mine.
"This is absolutely FANTASTIC!"
Brilliant arrangement of quotes.

Hey i tried finding the music from this video but I can't find it anywhere mind posting a video with just the music?
Great video. Love Capaldi and his writing so far.
Capaldi is precious and must be protected
The season finale last night was so sad 😭😭😭 poor Danny and Clara.
I know! It was devastating, I'm still crying over it( and the moment when the Doctor crashed the console - bloody killed me, it was a low blow to me. Capaldi's acting was flawless
Cutthroat Bitch Atleast afterwards we got Santa to be played by Nick Frost. :) I am glad with their actor choices.
Song sounds a bit like numb by Linken park! Great vid though, loved Capaldi's acting so far!! :-)
For people who hate capaldi get the hell out he is an amazing doctor
And im glad he doesn't have the face of a "12 YEARS OLD" PUN INTENDED
I like the connections you made across the series. You gave me some things to think about.
there're so many more parallels though! Couldn't fit in everything.
This is fantastic! When I look for a DW tribute video, I look for quality.
And this is quality at a maximum level!
CONGRATULATIONS! :D
Thank you! This tribute exists solely because of Peter Capaldi. He deserves a zibillion of tribute videos
Cutthroat Bitch Yes! The guy is amazing, billion watt intensity and high-strung intelligence just crackling off him. Thanks for fine work that celebrates that.
Over two years and I still live this video so much
I rewatch this video from time to time and always get the goozebumps! Thanks for creating this!
This is like...Katrindepp level of perfection!
that is actually the best praise i ever heard so far! Thank you so much it warmed my heart a lot :3

THIS IS AWESOME!!! This is totally brilliant and amazing and ahhhh it captures 12 so well! :)
Thank you!
Anyone else think the song sounds like a variation of linkin parks numb?
Coinslide i'm not alone! :'D
+Coinslide I thought it was LP at the beginning and was wondering if it was a instrumental all throughout the video!
this is definitely Numb, just some notes are different (or missing). Even the harmony progression is the same.
holy guacamole this is incredible
Cheers!
THAT WAS ABSOLUTELY BREATH TAKING. Gorgeous editing :D
thank you!
Love Missy's clap.
AWESOME video!! I LOVE it SO MUCH!!! Your editing is amazing; it's really fast and it fits the pace of the song. This shows the Twelfth Doctor so well!! I love Peter as the Doctor.
The Doctor, the unarmed soldier who keeps the whole world save.

Superb editing and production ,

Gee. So simple. Thanks for sharing this insight. Usually I get what's going on, but sometimes things just seem so vague. Your explanation helped.
sorry war
Capaldi is great. However, I think the writing this season leaves much to be desired. It's not bad, but it's no where near to what we've seen in the past seasons.

We don't know......
cool vid
too much clara for it being a doctor tribute.
John Gates Go screw yourself.
impossiblegirl be careful, you're control freak is showing...
I just named it after her. Clara is in the video because SHE IS A PAR OF HS LIFE AFTERALL
Very true. I just happened to feel that she had too strong of a presence over anyone else in this video. Just personal opinion impossiblegirl.
