    The Grand Cherokee is an Icon. I'd take it over Bmw or mb anytime.

    I’ve got a 2023 Cherokee L with the 5.7, Summit trim level, and Altitude option. I F***ing love it!!! I’ve had it for 2 months and have put 5k miles on it. NO problems. The driving assist feature is a real stress reliever for sure. JEEP has really hit it out of the park on this one. Best luxury model under 100K for sure.
    Borla catback exhaust going on next week along with a cold air intake by AFE.

      I also have a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L. Mine also has the 5.7 liter HEMI V8 engine. Mine is in the Summit Reserve trim. As for the V8 engine, it performs well. I got my vehicle back in July of 2023. The interior for mine is beige. The seats are beige, the top area door panel is black as well as the power window switch unit is gloss black. The rest of the door panel is beige. Great looking vehicle with nice n comfy features that will give vehicles like the Audi Q7, Acura MDX, Infiniti QX60 and Cadillac XT6 a run for their money.

    My new Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 2023 has the black appearance package. I am in love with it. It is amazing how much attention was paid to the interior.

    I have a 23 overland 4xe and I kinda wish I got this. My gas mileage is horrible and I don’t really use the electric feature on my car and my gas range sucks. Overall I do like the car but I’d rather have the V8

    I find it interesting that a Ram 1500 Tradesman 5.7 Hemi has more output at 395hp and 410 ft lb of torque. Different tuning I guess

    I brought my GC to car wash today and some guys walked up to me asking me about it. They like my GC L and car wash crews took their time cleaning my Jeep.

    I have a v8 overland L (2021). Overall great vehicle so far with about 15k miles. Only complaint is gas mileage - I get about 12 miles/gallon, mostly city driving. Which is god awful.

    I really think Jeep slam dunked the grand cherokee. Though there was a recall on a few hundred thousand of them for rear suspension issues. That might be a dynamic you'd like to cover JB. Recalls and issues. Like the ones toyota had with the turbos on their v6.

      It’s a sweet looking ride but they had some nasty recalls. The child safety anchors not welded, steering column could fall out, rear coil assembly can fall off while in motion …

    They need to put real off-road tires on them. That's a city Jeep.

    • @daviidfm923
      @daviidfm923 8 месяцев назад

      That's what Discount tire is for :) Majority of car buyers are not off-roading including 4Runner and Wrangler buyers. It would just be wasteful. Off-road tires are not the best for on-road driving anyway.

    Dam they already raised price about 10k from last year. Had a limited in july 21 and loved it minus all the trips to shop. Was a lemon and end up going for a 23 telluride and No complaints.

      They are much better now that Jeep figured out all the software issues. I have a 21 that had a lot of issues but after 2034983402348 software updates its finally fixed. Lesson learned NEVER buy a new model. wait a year or two.

    I have always been a huge fan of Jeep Grand Cherokees, but paying over 80k and you only get the 5.7 is absolutely ridiculous.

    • @jefferybaxter1225

      I have a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L in the Summit Reserve trim. Mine also has the 5.7 liter HEMI V8 engine. Mine was less than $80K. It wasn't like $83K or more. Nope. Mine was a smidge over $75K. At the time when I got it back in July of this past year 2023, the salesman asked me if I wanted running boards. I said no. I'm 5'9" and I don't need running boards as an assist to let me get in a mid-size SUV. I would need the running boards to get into a full-size SUV though. I also told the salesman I don't need the rear seat entertainment package and I don't need the mud flaps. The standard engine is the V6, but I didn't want that engine due to the fact that my old 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee which I still have has a V8 engine. Another engine is available which the bigger luxury brother Grand Wagoneer has. That engine is the Hurricane engine. They just started putting that engine in the Grand Wagoneer. When the Grand Wagoneer got launched, it was launched with the 6.4 liter HEMI V8 engine. Now, they started putting in the Hurricane engine for it due to the fact that it'll replace the 6.4 liter HEMI V8. On the Grand Wagoneer the Hurricane engine is a 3.0 liter inline 6 twin turbo engine producing 500 horsepower and 510 pound feet of torque. I assume at some point the Grand Cherokee L will get a version of the Hurricane engine, but will be detuned though. Instead of 500 horsepower, they might detune it to probably between 410 to 430. In general, V8 engines across the auto industry will eventually get discontinued due to the stupid emission guidelines outlined politically at the Federal level, state and local levels.

    For that kind of money I would get a BMW or Mercedes. There is something to be said of exclusivity in this price range. Let’s not forget this exact same power train is in Chargers and Challengers that you can get from Enterprise rental cars. Jeeps have gotten to expensive and away from their off road worthiness. The new JGCs independent rear suspension instead of the old solid axle took away a lot.

      @aa134368 8 месяцев назад

      @@promiseofwaronce you drive an x7 or GLS, you’ll immediately feel the difference. It’s night and day. Jeeps like this slap on some leather and a few gimmicks than jack the price 40k more than it’s worth. When I had my jeep,I hated going to any dealership in my area. Customer service was abysmal. Jeep dealerships are clustered in with ram, dodge Chrysler and it shows. If this was 60-65k then it’d be a value option but for the price, I can get a nicely optioned euro brand. No way I’m spending almost 90k on a jeep.

      What you say make sense in a way, you for sure cannot compare the prestige of the brands like Mercedes and BMW. On the other side shows you never entered in a Mercedes and BMW showroom. For that price range you can get a base model. Slap all these options in a Mercedes or BMW and you are looking 30k usd more minimum

    • @daviidfm923
      @daviidfm923 8 месяцев назад

      Have you driven this car? its more then slapping on leather and a few gimmicks. Sure does it compare 100 percent to a high end BMW or Benz no but it is much cheaper then those vehicles. The sweet spot for the GC L is the overland trim its got majority of the same luxury options of the summit at a cheaper price point. @@aa134368
