Pick up "The Science of Black Hair" book: amzn.to/YggmjA
The hair on my head began shedding significantly following an extremely stressfull period I went through. Consequently, I myself researched the net and opted to try the litttleextra coocoonion hair oil and neem wood comb. The results really made a difference. Now, my hair is lengthy, thick, black hair which has reached my waist and cut off three times since I started. Easy and good. Also, just as effective can be rubbing your scalp - it promotes hair growth. You only have to do this weekly. Pretty soon, you will see new hair starting to grow.
The littelllextra cocoonioon oil contains rosemary, onion, coconut, and hibiscus, which are superfoods for hair growth. I loved its texture. Smell is subtle and not overwhelming. In summary, it’s a great product and it has reduced my hair fall by more than 75%.
Come back!!! We need more videos like this. So educational and informative. I read your book like 2 or 3 years ago. (I downloaded it on Google play) But these videos are a great refresher. Come back please we need more!!! Hope all is well.
This book helped me on my hair journey to natural a year ago. And I passed it to my little sister who is having hair problems breaking over time from waist length to shoulder length. I will be buying another for my other sister who has been natural for a few years as well.
Thank you for all you've done it really was a true guide when RUclips suggestions didn't work the book helped to find what will on a scientific level. I'm grateful to have this stored in my memories to pass to others who may cross my path. I highly recommend your book to everyone wanting to have the best hair they could ever have. My prayers have been answered and I will achieve my goals that I've always imagined since I was a child with hair image problems, and bad hair care practices that were deeply instilled in me. I now and forever truely love my hair!
I'm glad you are now doing videos, because so many folks have bited off your information from your book and have started websites. KISS, Hairlista, etc. They learned everything from your book.
thank you for your book. I got a copy of your book and it changed my life. I have been struggling for a long time. with split ends and dryness but not anymore.
awesome, awesome, awesome. not boring at all. thank you for your knowledge that is much appreciated.
Audrey. I'm glad I found you just posted this video to LHCF some still believe genetics has nothing to do with growth rate. I tried to explain it best I could my rate is only about 1/4 inch a month. Congrats on your upcoming Dr. Oz preview.
By far you are the only one that makes sense in explaining this journey of going natural. Thank you please keep up the work. And more videos please! !!!
And oh yeah, we (yes I'm speaking for all viewers now!) would LOVE to see a vid please on how you put your mini twists in please, what products you use, and how you maintain them from week to week, particularly how you wash them, because I've never washed my hair in a protective style before (which I know now explains why it was always like straw when I took it out and had so much breakage) :-(
This is such wonderful video. Looking forward to seeing more videos
This inspired my son Justin to be a barber! Thank you Audrey!
Great video! Thank you doe taking the time to make such an informative video. It was filled with imagery, simple terminology, and very educational. Thanks again!
I got the book last week on a suggestion from HealthyHairRiddles. I love it and I want to encourage others to read it just like she suggested it to me. She was right. I am learning so much from her videos and from the book. I have so many "aha" moments. Thank you Ms. Audrey and a special thanks to Ms. HealthyHairRiddles. For those who have not gotten the book yet, get it in COLOR please. I didn't and I wish I would have : (

This is a great video and offers hope for those of us who were told we can't grow our hair due to genetics
Looking forward to your next vid. Thanks for the info.
Great video as usual. Keep them coming!
Love your book Audrey! It's like my second Bible! In fact I picked it up again sat night because I'm going to braid my hair next week, and wanted to know what to do with my hair before, during, and after, and the advice was extremely helpful (pgs 155-158 if you're not sure ;-D)! I'll be reading your Hair care Rehab book from this week Audrey. Thanks ever so much for sharing, and keep em comin!

Great video and I enjoyed the way you presented it. It helps to know how and why your hair does what it does. I also have the book and when I need to know something about my hair (or my daughters) I revert to your book! Thank you for the information!!
Very good video. And i learned so much with the book. The only problem was that i bought the pdf version for my Kobo but many pictures are too difficult to see on this format. At the same time, it is lighter so easier to carry.
Btw, I would love to know your opinion on the inversion method :)
Very informative, and easy to understand!
I'm glad you're back! I love having the author of my fav hair book right on my computer. Great video!

I seriously see you as a blessing. Thank you for what you are doing; I have plans to remove my sisterlocks of 6 years, and have been looking for some ideas to do my hair! This is tangible; what is your hair type?
More videos please! I love those seen so far! I'd love to see your take on the maximum hydration method.
Glad you are back. I loved your previous videos.
I can't wait for the next Video, Thank you so much.
This video is by far the best explanation out there on the hair growth cycle! I know you say we have limited control over our growth but what about the hair growth serum that claims to keep the hair follicle in anagen phase? Or perhaps we can inject the same hormones used during pregnancy into the scalp?
I'm gonna look for an old copy of this book. I'm loving the videos!
I'm so happy to see another great video from you, and I love you mini twists. How long does it take you to do those? I haven't as of yet gotten The Science of Black Hair, but I am in the very near future!!! Thanks so much.
You are so awesome!!!! Thank you so much for these educational videos!! I will definitely order a copy of your book!!
very informative! Thank you so much

Audrey you are the business! Not boring at all...intriguing! Patiently waiting for the next! PS. Since you keep your mini twists in for 3 weeks, I'm assuming you wash them in the twists, yes?
Awaiting the next video :)
Love your book - most informative on my hair and really helped me select appropriate products for my hair growth!
This is very helpful information! Can diet and exercise help change the weather of the anagen phase for optimum hair growth...or a certain combination of foods? Thank you!
I had forgotten the name of the Book and searched various words for years. Todsay, i figured it out and Boom here I am
Yayyyy

Hello Audrey! I love your books and videos! Not boring at all! I am wondering what you think about the "Inversion Technique"?
Hi Audrey , looking forward to more. Please tell us more on gray hair .My family starts to get grey hair from early twenties ,so I can say the graying is genetic. We do have a good diet so would rule that out.all of us gray from the front and slowly to the back.Is it true you get your first gray the same age your parents got your first grey.I find it fascinating your melanin can start to decrease from 20 years can you reverse this
It has been a while. You were missed! Great video
Love it! Do you live somewhere warm??
BLess you, BLEEESS you!!!, very informative, i learned!!!
Very informative!!
Great information!
Great info. I need some help with length retention!
Can u talk about the ingredients in regular shampoos & conditioners vs. natural shampoos & conditioners? What kind of moisturizers should be used? Different protein treatment strengths & how to tell which one ur hair needs. I also want to know about dry & itchy scalp. I noticed that every now & then my scalp becomes dry. How do u know if its just dandruff or something more serious? Sometimes I get little bumps & grayish looking flakes around my hair line, mostly in the front.
Great video, so informative! Looking forward to the length retention vid... i think we all are lol
Please make more videos
You're so pretty and I love your energy. I have your book and its the best investment I made in my HHJ. Thank you for doing what you do.
Thank you for this!
I truly enjoyed, this video, are vitamins helpful or harmful?
Love your videos.
very informative. thank you :)
What??? After hearing about your book for years, just found you in 2024 😂. Now I realise you went away years ago. 😢Why😭. Would be great if you can back. RUclips is so confusing now lol.
I enjoyed this video
Hello I just have a quick question. How would I reduce hair breakage/split ends to maintain my hair length, because I really don't want to have to cut/trim my hair unless I need to. It just seems as though I always see lots of split ends in hair and I'm pretty much at a lost of what I should do. Do you have any tips for me????
U Have To Cut Your Split Ends At Least Every 4 Months. . .Otherwise Ur Hair Is Goin To Break At The Same Rate That It Is Growing. Once The Hair Splits It Continues To Split Up Tha Hair Shaft Only To Cause More Split Ends With That Bein Said If U Want Ur Hair To Continue To Grow U Have To Keep Ur Ends Trimmed! Dont Worry Tha Hair Will Grow Back And Even Longer! U Cant Hold On To All Ur Hair Forever. And If Ur Ends Are Spliting Faster Than Every 4mnts Try To Get To Tha Bottom Of Tha Problem Bcuz Likely There Is Some Damage Goin On!
Deelicious Caramel ;) Thank you so much :)
Great video! Look at your hair, So lovely just like you:)
Love!
Thank you for this video! I

I love your videos.
Ótimo.
Please tell me how I can straight my hair naturally without uses of straightening cream
I'm not sure what the relevance of this information is to my ongoing hair maintenance
I know you have a life but please please make more videos.
Very good ok
Love your videos, don't be a stranger
Is the anagen phase effected by cutting your hair? So say your phase lasts 5 years and you would typically grow 30 inches in 5 years. Say it's the 3rd year and you cut your hair to an inch. Will it only grow to 13 inches and then shed? Also because of shedding and regrowth, it is normal to have shorter hairs right? because different hairs are in different phases?
It's definitely normal to have some shorter hairs because they're growing at different rates. I'd say the anagen phase isn't affected by cutting because growth happens INSIDE the scalp. Once it passes through the scalp and becomes the visible hair you can see, it's no longer living. So cutting the ends of your hair shouldn't have any bearing whatsoever on what's going on within your scalp
I'm a white boy but I love this video
Girl please
