As a female solo traveler, your posting is super helpful. Now I’ve found courage to proceed this journey. The only thought was, if bitaksi or uber accept passengers after midnight? Teşekkürler 🤩
Yes you can find taxi after midnight. Istanbul is a big city and it is alive 7/24!

Hello Burak, I just watched your IST video as well. Both are very helpful. Seems both airports have good connections. I wonder why people say Sabina Goken is much more difficult to get to.
Because Sabiha is on the Asian side. It is far from touristic attractions, which are on the european side :)
Thank you a lot for all the information! Can you please mention this bus timetable?
Yaşasin burak bey❤❤❤❤
tnx!
Great video! What would you say is the best option to get to Fatih area? Metro or bus?
Thank you so much! You're life saver! May I ask how did you know the exact bus that will take you to Taksim square? I saw that you took a long way there.
Just ask for Taksim Bus to the officers. Everyone knows where the bus is. Don't worry, it is very easy to find the buses.
@@BurakUnal1 Thank you so much!!!
Thanx
🙏🏼
Great video bro. Thank you. I also have a question. I will soon be in Istanbul on 16th June 2024. I arrive at 4 in the morning and my hotel's check-in is at 2 in the afternoon in the city centre. However, I will take a taxi and use this for 8 hours and have a tour across Istanbul. I will not have a taxi stop, just touring with Taxi. If I take a taxi for these hours, how much should be a fair price?
GOOD LOVE TURKEY
We love turkey too!
Merhaba again Burak - I calculated from SAW via metro, we need to get off at Ayrilik çesmesi then, take a BUS "B1" to get to Sirkeci.... I think that's right according to Google for Sirkeci ? are there better ways to get to the same station by public transport?
This options looks good
Thank you Burak - very useful! As for TAKSI, I assume that for 5 persons, there are bigger minivans to Fatih area?!
Yes, correct. There are bigger taxis like minivans. They are more expensive, but i guess they can fit 4-5 people. Consider the luggages as well.
@@BurakUnal1 thanks! We don’t plan on having more than our carry-ons😅but may be with things to buy, will have a luggage going back😉
Danke für Video.... Nur Preise sind doppelt jetzt in März 2024
Thanks so much burak 🎉
I’m traveling in a few days later and I want to know about ‘’taşıma bavul arabası ‘’ from inside ---> outside the airport please 🙏🏻? Can we take a taşınma arabası from baggage area to outside? If you know how much it will cost and if we can use it to the taxi area
I guess there are transport trolleys for a deposit fee
Merhaba Burak again, do you think the Havabus (or another bus line) will take us to Sultanahmet or around there? Or we need to go to Kadikoy/Taksim and then take other public transportation? I know you mentioned it, but our hotel is near the Sirkaçi stop...Or we can just take the Metro and transfer at Ay. çesmesi ?
Just take Metro to Ayrilik Cesmesi and then take the Marmaray to Sirkeci!
@@BurakUnal1 Thanks, yes, I have that in mind :)
Hi, thank you so much. It's very helpful. Do you know if it safe to travel by metro from the airport to istanbul at night?
Turkish metros and buses are quite safe. No worries
Thank you for this info. We will be arriving at SAW on the 22nd from Izmir. Will be spending 2 nights in Istanbul and depart on the 24th back home. Please advise which area is most convenient to stay i.e. close to public transport. On the 24 we also want to take public transport to Istanbul International. Many thanks
You can consider Kadikoy or Taksim for your stay. They are between SAW and IST Airports.
May i ask you what is the best way tp come to Sirkeci? I was thinking to use M4 to Ayrılık Çeşmesi. And then further from there (with B1) across to european site? Or is it better maybe better to go with a boat over?
Good plan! I would recommend the same M4 + B1!
Hi burak, thanks for the knowledge, i made hotel reservation around fatih area, do you think i need to take bus to taksim as well ? Or do you have any suggestion , which bus i need to take ? Thankyou
you can take Taxim bus, and then take a taxi from there to fatih.
Good video. Its very helpful !!! I have few questions.
1. Should I buy turkish sim card or can I use International roaming of my sim card? Which one is better in terms of coverage ?
2. Which airport do you suggest to reach city centre in less time, IST or SAW ?
3. FINALLY, which kebab shop would you recommend that has the best kebab? 😂😂
Thanks
Hello, thanks for liking my video. Here are replies:
1. Depends on your international coverage and price. If you stay more than 10 days, I recommend getting a turkish sim.
2. IST is better.
3. Bayramoglu is my favorite. Check its google maps link and reviews: maps.app.goo.gl/hsEc2oJUvNidCGEL7
Thank you so much for this informative video. quick question: do the bus drivers have a card reader for the Istanbul card? How do you pay with the Istanbul card for the bus?
Yes you can pay by istanbulkart, credit card or cash in the bus!
Taksim bus is 24 h every 30 min? Because as per tha havabus shuttle.schedule there is a last bus at 12 30 and then next one is 6 30 in monring
it would be helpful to blend in the station names for the connection form airport to taksim
There are lots of connections. It is best to check the destination on google maps. It shows all the public transport options.
Nice burak
Thanks a lot!
@@BurakUnal1 I really like your video all
Merhaba dış hatlar gelen yolcuyu bekleyebileceğimiz ve kendisinin de kolayca bulabileceği bir buluşma noktası var mı ?
Dış hatların tek çıkış kapısı var, orada bekleyin. International arrival gate diyince bulursunuz.
Hi! Thank you for your video! May I ask you how much cost in euros bus to Taksim? And do I need some reservation for bus, or its always available when I come. Thanks for your answer! :)
Apprx 4-5 Euros. You dont need reservation, you just go to bus stop and take the bus.
Are busses and metro available from midnight to morning too? 6:47 you said there are 24 hrs busses to taksim , right?
Buses are 24 hours. Metro is from 6am to Midnight
Thank you! What are the working hours for the Bus that is going to Taksim?
Hello, hours are on this link: www.havabus.com/yolcuservisi/taksim-sabihagokcenhavalimani.aspx
Hi, can I ask you, if there is exchange money in airport, or i can pay by euros in the bus, because when I will come, I will not have turkisch lira... and you said, that there is in kiosk, where I can buy by card a ticket? Where is kiosk excatly? Thank you so much for your answer :)
You can pay bus in EUR, however, it is better to change €20 at the airport and pay in Lira. It is cheaper that way. The bus assistants takes the fees inside the bus. Don't worry, it is quite easy!
Thx for this information, i will be going in November to Hotel near Galata Tower, what busses i need to take ? Is going to Taksim? Thank you so much
Take the Taksim bus and go to Taksim. Then you can take a bus, metro or taxi to go to Galata. It is only 1 metro station away from Taksim.
Thanks for such a detailed video. May you confirm if Istanbul Tourist card is excepted in HavaBus?
I don't think so. You need to pay havabus with regular istanbul card or with credit card
@@BurakUnal1 thanks
Is the Havabus from SAW to Taksim still run 24 hours? Their website said the last bus is at 00:30 and the first bus is at 06:30. Do you think I have enough time to take the last bus if landing at 23:00?
It doesnt run 24 hours. You can catch the bus depending on the luggage collection time.
Thank you for explaining this, is the this bus service available for going to Central area? Meaning the blue mosque area, Thanks
You can go to Taksim, and then take a taxi to go to Blue Mosque Area.
The bus destination is here:

@@BurakUnal1 Thank you
Thank you so much for your videos, it is very helpful for us. Can u tell us the easiest way from MALL OF ISTANBUL to TAKSIM. Are there buses like ''HS1'' or METRO. Actually my destination is from MALL OF ISTANBUL to SABIHA GOKCEN AIRPORT. I would be glad if you would reply, THANK YOU
Take a taxi to taksim and then take the havabus Sabiha Bus
Hello, I am at Istanbul and is lovely, but 😢 we have to come back the next week at our country. A question at the Sabiha Gokcen Is there the luggage protection?, so to put the plastic at the suitcases. Thank you. Best regards.
Yeah, there are people who offer luggage covering service for some fee.
@@BurakUnal1 thank you so much.
Good video!, but what about the time of departures of the metro & ...?
Metro operates between 6am until midnight.
good video. Maybe good to show if the machines show english? thanks

Hai Burak, you know where is locker or deposit baggade in sabiha gokcen? Thanks

How to go to Marmara park?
Hi Burak. How can i go from Sabiha airport to Sirkeci?
Use metro + marmaray
Sir, may i know for timing departure of bus from saw to bursa?
As I see, there is bus every hour all day. You can check on this website too: bus.burulas.com.tr/tr/Bus/Voyage
In the sabiha airport
Can I use the normal visa card for using the metro?
Yeah try your visa card. If it doesnt work, you can buy istanbul card
I am confuse, which airport to choose IST( European side ) or SAW (Asian side ) ? Which is suitable as a tourist?
IST is better :)
From sabiha to yanikopi...single train or need to change...????
You need to change from metro to marmaray
How much lira to reach taksim with metro ?
Is there card payment to buy the istanbulkart
Yes credit card is accepted in many vending machines.
Is the domestic terminal near?
Yes very near. Just next to internaitonal terminal
Where to get Istanbulkart from airport when taking havabus?
There are vending machines in the metro floor.
Credit card is also ok for havabus
How to go Faith area ( Asya sk. ) From Taksim?
You can take city buses or a taxi. You can check on google maps
I want to go to Sultan Ahmet, what bus will I take? Thank you
You can take aksaray bus, then you can take a taxi.
@@BurakUnal1 So there are no bus directly to Sultan Ahmet. Is it safe to use a yellow taxi, what is the usual fare ? Thank you
How much is the price for the taksim bus ?
Around 5-6 euros
Can I use credit card for taxi ?
Most taxies accept credit card. They charge extra 20-30 Lira ($1) for credit card transaction.
Do u know from sabiha to sirineveler?
You can take Metro to go to Metrobus (AyrilikCesme). Then by metrobus, you can go to sirinevler.
@@BurakUnal1 ok txs the pay with Istanbul card ?
How long does it take to walk to the metro entrance?
10mnts from arrival gate
@@BurakUnal1 thank you
Hi, we’ll be coming from Sultahnamet going to SAW. We’re planning to use transit. Per google map, we’ll be walking for 1.3km about 20min from metro to airport. Is that correct?
Why is bus faster than train? Normally train should he faster
Merhaba again Burak - I heard from another YTber that now Metro/bus or may be trams too now takes "touchless" credit cards upon boarding? Is this true? Esp. Metro and T1 ?
Let me try it tomorrow morning and I will get back to you.
