What a hell of a car man, that looks so fantastic. You said it best, the 3000gt is one of the most underrated 90's cars. It looks like a super car while being attainable by anyone who wants to put in the time. I genuinely do not know why it wasn't more popular than it was. Thank you for seeking to make more parts for this platform. As someone who loves this platform it's scary to imagine how difficult it will be in the future to maintain and find parts. But people like yourself give me hope

I’m a mustang owner but as an 80s kid I grew up watching the VR4s on the road in middle school. I’ve always wanted one. This is such a crazy nice example. I actually have found a guy that has several in his front yard he works on and I’ve always wanted to stop and ask him about the cars. Great work guys!

Thanks for sharing this great build with us. I always wanted a 3000gt vr4. One of my uncles had a first-gen vr4 back in the 90's(i believe the color was 'Fuji blue') and it had all the bells and whistles. As a kid, I felt like a badass riding shotgun in that car...and I've been in love with em' ever since. The passion that Mitsubishi put into designing their GTO really shows, even when next to modern cars. It's a timeless design that really speaks for itself and I'm thankful my generation got to experience this era of Japanese muscle cars!

Man... this thing looks great and really makes me miss my old 92 VR4... Definitely the most underrated 90s car - beautiful, comfortable, decently fast... It was my dream car as a teenager and I regret selling the one I used to have, hopefully I can pick up another in the future.

When I worked in Millington TN at an auto parts store. They had an annual 3000GT meet up at the motorsports park down the road. The first year I knew about it was a bunch of people coming in needing various parts for them. Which we didn't have at the time. The following year I talked to my manager and we ordered in the parts to keep in stock. The one that stood out the most was CV boots on the rear axles. No one could get those at the time so we just ordered in all the different sizes we could and just got them as close as possible. Not sure if they still do that meet up but it was awesome just seeing all the love for the 3000GT/Stealth in all the different submodels from base to RT and VR4.
Man I've seen your car before this thing is dope! I always felt the VR4 3000s just don't get enough love because they get overshadowed by the RX-7s and Supras and Skylines. Very nice build my dude!

Been thinking of going the same route with s13’s as you did with your 3000gt with the custom parts. There’s some parts in our cars that just aren’t made anymore and I’d honestly like to recreate them and share them. Thanks for the inspiration and the push. Last week, I heard on a radio station that this car is now considered classic along with the 91 Miata, 91 300zx and a few more of the 90's JDM. Ride on bro.

That looks amazing and is a really well done VR4. I've always loved the 3000gt and Dodge Stealth for the same reasons you mentioned. They are awesome cars and really were passed over for the Supra, NSX and RX-7. I own a Mazda MX-3 for the same reason. All my buddies in high school were driving Civics and I wanted something different. The MX-3 GS 1.8L V6 sounded awesome and I bought one as my first car. It also has no aftermarket support and I've spent years making parts and modifying the car.

Totally awesome! Totally underrated 90s tuner. One of my favorites is 98/99 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX and of course 94/95 Mazda RX7 FD with turbo 3 Rotor swap.

This car i so sick🔥. The only thing that i don't like about the look of the stock 3000gt Vr4 is the back of it, but since now i know that it is even possible to make the back look amazing. Keep on the great work.

Iac valve might be clogged with deposits easy fix is to get a new iac valve and tps sensor
