Dude I seriously understand the pressure of having people waiting behind and in front of you in Charlotte. It’s honestly an uphill battle, but I love how you handle it. Hope to see you out on the course someday soon!
I felt that when you said you feel like you have to rush when people are behind you. Whenever I'm playing solo and people let me play through I always rush my shots
I think a mix of these rounds will be good for you. throwing multiple shots will help you learn your new bag but replicating tournament conditions is a good idea too
I just recently started recording myself for youtube(Charlotte local) and boy can I relate to the overheating camera and stress from people playing through. 😅 It gives me much more respect for the guys who take the time to make content for people to watch. I try to play super early to avoid both the heat and crowds 🤠
Hey molt just want to say thank you for the consistent uploads! I’ve been subscribed since day 1 and it really does motivate me to get my shit together and start uploading on my channel! 💪🙂💯
I have a couple newer runs. For me personally, I throw the older Z Plastic. It’s just such a good disc. It can hold a decent flex. Or if thrown with some hyzer can be really over stable. Definitely worth a throw for sure 👍🏻
What’re some good disc recommendations for an intermediate player? I throw a max of 8 speed right now and I’m looking for a bigger variety for my bag!!
unlike a lot of people, I really like looking at flight numbers. If you are an intermediate player I would definitely say to stay 9 speed and below for a while, and throw discs that are more neutral to understable, so somethething where the last two numbers are maybe -2, 1 or -1,1 like the crave or trance
Nice vid. What I dont really understand is if there is 2 ppl infront of u why do u rush? Yes behind you are waiting but as long as u play the same speed as the 2 infront (shouldnt be a problem), u should be good to go
I wasn't really rushing because of the people in front, I was rushing because of the people behind, and then that made me think about playing through the next group, not filming and being rude or whatever. just a lot of thoughts haha
My last two tournaments have averaged way lower, I dropped into the 970s because of them. So I am currently trying to get my mind right to hop back into two pretty big tournaments coming up in the next 2 months

THIS is how you get better! Try your best, no mulligans, be honest to yourself.
honestly, mulligans make you worse, because you are creating a false situation and not learning how to "bounce back"
@@DiscGolfwithMolt exactly. I think the exception is tournament prep

Sick video. Do more of these serious full rounders!
Not a huge surprise from a guy like you, but still impressive and highly entertaining. Keep it rocking.
Thanks!

haha, gotta keep the camera in the shade when you can!
You should check out a polarizing filter for those shots with the blown out highlights
I love the “faux tournament” style format for this video. I play solo rounds like this myself.
i get so used to filming and talking to the camera, that when I do go and play in tournaments, the rounds feel different

You made a comment about the Malta being a faster Zone. For me, the Discraft Drone is a faster Zone. One of my favorite discs in my bag 🤘🏻
have you tried the new presnell one? I was trying to decide if I should get one

Charlotte needs more courses
