Anyone that thinks Star Wars is good Sci-fi...is so naive.
I think Conan would have to be the most sincere with his laughs and truly finds his guests' stories funny. This is probably a lot of the reason I've been on a three-hour binge of his RUclips videos.

Aside from the original trilogy, the only star wars I've liked is the NPR radio show of Episode 4 and the Clone Wars TV show.
I really just like Empire and the parts of Jedi not on Endor, and the first 30 minutes of the new movie. But it doesn't take a lot to get me excited about SW.

So I 100% understand where he's coming from when it comes to the prequels. I LOVED the ORIGINAL Starwars, and then I saw Phantom Menace when I was 11 and was like "this is horrible." Didn't care for ep II and III when I watched them. Hated the "remastered" originals. So when FOrce Awakens came out I honestly had no interest. I just watched it like two weeks ago and loved it.

Udgrasil13 You have a point if you meant TPM. Sith was pretty damn bad. Amazing how far downhill the lightsaber battles went. TPM was great, Clone Wars had Yoda CGI that was fun, but also horrible Dooku vs Anakin and Obi choreography, and Sith just looked like a shitty cartoon. All flash and no substance.

And by the way ,the animated Movie: "Star Wars: Clone Wars" was better then any of the Prequels in my opinion.

I definitely cried at the scroll during TFA. The movie was pretty good, but not great. Abrams could have come up with something more original. After TLJ, Star Wars is once again dead to me.

The prequels sucked so bad that I didn't even bother watching them until cable had it.
I hope fighting with his friend about The Force Awakens he realised what he must have sounded like hating the prequels. Star Wars is so different for everyone. My favourite is the Phantom Menace, this was the first one I've seen and it really made me love that universe. There are people who don't like the original trilogy because it's too obsolete for them. And they are not wrong, because it's their opinion.
I would like Phantom Menace if it wasn't for some Anakins cringy lines and Jar Jar. That's why I watch the anti cheese edit.
Nostalgia can have a strong effect on the weak minded.

Imo, the novels, comics and tv series are the only good things to come out of Star Wars. The movies are bland at best now.
