@@VisionGuy For sure! I just acquired the same model as you because the original owner couldn't take it with them when they moved. Thought I'd look for some setup videos before she was able to show me all the bells and whistles of this thing. It's quite a bit of an upgrade from my Atomstack. I'll message you if anything comes up!
Hey this is a longshot, but I just got a laser and there is no red indicator laser. Is there a button you have to press to turn it on or should it already be on?
How hard is this thing to move on its wheels? I'm thinking of buying one but I'd have to move it into the back shed, which would require hauling it over plywood sheets on grass.
It's pretty heavy, but once it's moving, it moves. (you're not going to pick it up, but I think you could pull off some of the panels and shed some weight. I think if you're not lifting, only going straight, it will work.
@VisionGuy awesome, cheers. Yeah it's a flat yard just grass between the front and shed. Figured it'd be something like 200kg so would need the plywood to roll it on. Excited to get going
@@adamarzo559 plywood wood definitely help, but as long as its strait, it shouldn't be a problem. You will have so much adrenaline, that you will probably get it all done by yourself
Please tell me you used distilled water? Also, put a cap full of bleach in the water to reduce algae from forming. If you didn’t use distilled water you may want to flush your tube several times.
What do you mean by pass through? Like doors on the sides to load longer pieces? As for the depth, I've cut 1/2in pine, with two passes, but technically you can cut thicker material with more passes/slower passes. This will obviously char or could even start a fire, depending on how slow you go.
Yes, mine has them on the front and back. But not all models have them, so make sure when you order, read the description and make sure it has the doors. I think some models also have them on the sides, but I specifically ordered mine with doors on the front and back. Used it several times and it was worth the little additional cost.
@@VisionGuy thanks Vision, i just finished putting everything together. Now I'm going to check is the laser is accurate so i can start cutting.. how thick have you cut and what material?
Nice! Mine was ready to go out the box. Very accurate and good cute. I've cut 1/4in cherry with a single pass and 1/2in pine with a single pass. I'm trying to find a store that sells good quality plywoods to get some 3/4 birch. If you have any other questions, just ask By the way, I recommend getting additional suction for the exhaust. The built-in one is better than nothing but when doing deep cuts, it stinks up the garage. I got a $30 exhaust fan and the smell is gone Best of luck!
@@VisionGuy thats awesome brother cause i want to cut 1/2 and 3/4 plywood for some projects and also 1/4 acrylic . And i was a bit worried about not getting a strong one. I got the 100w. And thanks for the advice with the fan I'm planning on doing that soon. I was watching earlier one of your others videos where you mentioned about the smoke coming thru the screw holes. So i was thinking of putting a little bit of caulking around it. I still haven't got the chance to start it up yet cause i moving stuff around and organizing around the area. And plus i have to go on line to get the lightburn , i already have it but the one i have is for a small laser and u thought i was going to be able to use it but i need the another version for the this one. So when im done ill buy to doen load it and do my 1st cut.. thanks brother and i subscribed to your channel 🙏.
Im not being funny but when there is a giant blue box inside your cutter you decide to open every other door to look in instead of the blue box .I bet you were great at hide n seek ( JOKE )
Thank you for showing the setup details. We needed this.
I have been looking for a helpful video !
You are the only one who goes into details, thanks man, it really helps !
You're welcome. I noticed the same thing, so I decided to make the video. I'll have more in the near future. I
Thank you!
You're welcome! Glad to help. If you have any questions, let me know.

@Krusermissile wow, nice bonus!

Are you sure your machine came with a red laser? I think it was an option?
Hey Vision, did you ground this at all? My manual says to ground it 1.5 feet in the ground which seems a little extreme.
No, I didn't ground it. I agree, a little extreme
Need grounding if not in u.s, we have a 3 prong plug which has the ground already included.

I did use distilled water, but bleach is a good idea 👍thanks
Does this machine have a pass through? If so , what is the maximum thickness of material I can use?

@@VisionGuy yes I meant doors on the sides to load longer pieces. I want to load pieces up to 1 inch thick and 4-5 ft long for engraving only

@@VisionGuy ahh thanks a lot. I’m really leaning towards getting this model
Hey Vision , i just received now my 100w omtech and im setting it up now. Did you find out whatvwas that white paste for?
Congratulations! The white paste is silicone. I didn't need to use it, but I think it's for lubricating the ball screws for the x, y and z axis.

Your son is more excited about the laser than you, I think you have a budding scientist there.
I try to keep my composure, but when the camera is off, I'm like a child making all sorts of things
Hey Vision, do you have a referral, I'm thinking about getting the same machine too!
Yes, amzn.to/3GGT9HS
What model is this co2
This was the AF2028-60
Hello. I think the child is more prepared than you.
Adult toys are so much more fun
Yes they are. There are so many too
