Yo if ur robot's still not moving, just move it's legs/wheels a little up until it starts moving on it's own (this was the same problem i had with my robot beetle)
It's always "on" and it will start walking when it receives enough light on the solar panel. A normal room doesn't have enough light though so you need to bring it out in the sun or point a bright lamp at it.
My kit is having a major problem. the Solar powered rotary wheel isnt strong enough to even move the gears. I cannot tell if my gears are too stiff or something else is wrong but my lil dinosaur wont move : < (I took the assembly apart and my gear works in direct sunlight)

My girlfriend recently bought it for her son from Five Below for only $5 definitely worth it for the price! We got the battery powered robot however and it has gray plastic instead if green.

The two main issues you could have is 1 - there is not enough light or 2 - there might be some plastic still attached to the pieces and they are getting stuck on each other.

Parts are missing for the build of the one item inside that my boy wanted. I did not try any of the other put togethers. Tried the motor prior to even starting and could not get the motor to work with even our largest flashlight and some sunshine. My need a real bright day to even get it to move. There is also no shut off for the model so even if it started you would not be able to shut it off. Not worth the money for what it is.
Yes if it says "transforming" then it is misleading, as it does not transform. Also I am definitely not smart enough to assemble it if it could transform into 4 different robots. It was hard enough to build one of them! :)

Did you remove all the excess plastics? Idk haven't got mine yet and haven't tried yet
It needs a lot of light. Also if there is some extra plastic spike from when you removed it from the parts sheet, it could get caught and stuck.
Yo if none of these solutions doesn't work, just move the dino's leg a little up until it starts movimg under the sun or under a halogen lightbulb

It doesn't really "charge" since it uses power directly as it comes in from the solar panel.
