Good one :) Small tip for the round base: if ground is slightly uneven just double sided tape 3 equally thick small pieces of wood or similarly sturdy material underneath it makes sure it has three points of contact, eliminating any form of wobble, together with a sandbag or similar weight it’ll be rock solid :)

I've rigged up lights with not softbox just fine. I've tried 90cm but they need alot of extra support. I can manage 60cm just fine.
