- Tesla announced it will lay off nearly 2,700 workers at its factory in Austin a week after the company said it would cut more than 10% of its global workforce. The carmaker also said it plans to launch new, more affordable vehicles next year. That news boosted shares more than 10% in after-hours trading Wednesday.

Profits* down 55%, yet board of directors wanted to give Elon a $55 billion bonus…
Not saying I agree with the bonus. But it was a series of targets he had to hit for the bonus. He hit them all. So tried to claim it.
The stocks are super inflated off of hype. That hype is going away. No one cares about Elon anymore. The hype behind his name is bs now. I personally don’t see Tesla surviving
I am pretty sure it was Elon who was trying to get the bonus...he needs cash to keep Twitter afloat.

The reason why Tesla and other EV sales are dropping is because everyone who wanted an electric vehicle (early adapters) have all already bought one.
