Why is talking origami so surprising to Paimon and the traveller? Like, they're travelling around in a world of archons, elements and all kinds of crazy things; Plus, Paimon and Traveller aren't exactly "ordinary" themselves... How are they even surprised at this point? They even helped a talking cat in the Remuria questline. Anyway, Almond is adorable and chunky.

Talking paper would be pretty weird for their world even with the magic. But they did meet a paper person years ago in the 2.2 event
