I just bought, downloaded, installed and authorised my crossgrade to Soundtoys 5! Loved the Echoboy allready, bought it with the Crystalliser in a sale, and your video's convinced me... The FilterFreak and PhaseMistress plus those two are reason enough to buy the bundle. I'll certainly try out the rest while I'm having my summer break!
Soundtoys is awesome. It was quite an expensive purchase but definitely worth it. I use it in all my projects now!

u killed that vocal sample. I listened to the demo it was mediocre. pitching it up was slick. u should have thrown a few chops in the drop as well

I really enjoyed that, thanks for sharing, and am looking into buying Soundtoys 5 now! I particularly enjoyed how some of the effects broaden the stereo field. Although on a side note, I loved the way you have your blogging screen set up. What do you use to blog / have your screen shot the way it is? It's really neat.

Instead of printing a Track to Audio and cut out unwanted delaytails, you can also automate the channel on/off button. It works like a charm!

While listening to this on headphones I could've swore I heard the low thud of someone in my house. Come to find out it was low end rumble in this video....maybe his mic picked up the rumble whenever he hit his desk or keyboard. Sounded just like someone walking around upstairs. Made me break out my Glock.

+jerville1 think it's the best to create own, unique drums and Set them in the right position, so that it's sounding good
This video is for demonstration of these plugins, not about how to make my own drums. So yes, I took some samples to throw together a 'track' rather quickly so I could move on doing the actual video. And let's be honest, if I would've made all these samples myself what difference would it make when looking at the purpose of this video. Right nothing, the plugins will still affect those sounds the same way.
I've been working on a new EP since probably a year ago, decided to scrap most of it halfway and start over with new tracks. That has been going on for the last 4 months, that isn't without a reason, I spend hours if not days perfecting every little drum part, same with all the other sounds. Anyway, hope that clears things up! :)
+ARTFX STUDIOS yeah for presenting these plugins it's easier to use samples, I understand... But I recognized in many videos that you are working much with samples. Probably I'm a synthesis fanatic and love making tracks without using any samples... but I really love your work und your way of presenting things! keep the good work up and stay tuned!

i rly like the oldschool sounds, the "empty" era of music u know :) i also like the old hardstyle from 2001-2005 more than the modern, dont hate me for that :(
I agree... I think dynamically it lost it's point of interest... individually the plugins made each sound have more interest, but as a whole combination of changes it makes the sound washy and lose warmth. I think more concise choices for the effects could yield stronger results on the final mix... More thought on what should move and what should counter that movement for contrast would give the best of both mixes. Movement for the sake of movement doesn't always mean better, I feel like mixing, as with producing, is strongest when it tells a story... The first mix tells a clearer story to me.
