    ABOUT…
I am Rebecca and I am one heck of a passionate vocal coach/singer/songwriter/impressionist/health/fitness/self- improvement/anything that makes me smile!! I love anything vocal/singing related and geek out on it every day. I want to motivate and inspire others to follow their dreams…corny? Well maybe but it’s true. So what’s motivating me?? I had a huge tumour removed summer 2017 and my ovaries and fallopian tubes. The tumour was the size of a 20 week baby!! However, despite not being able to walk for a couple of weeks, and feeling generally awful…. It has made me create and do what I love! It wasn’t an easy time but I won’t let fear dictate my life. I didn’t think ‘why me’, there are plenty of horrific issues people have to deal with…it’s not always smooth sailing. It’s true when you hear, ‘Life is short’, the crazy thing is, I am glad it happened…I appreciate life even more and practice gratitude everyday…It’s so easy to get caught up with the little things…and I do sometimes, but look at the bigger picture, will it matter in a year or two…?
Also thank you for all your support. It means a lot.
Subscribe to Rebecca Vocal Athlete to get inspired by new videos!
    Have a great day!!
    Rebecca

Wat.... It's weaker than the album version, for one. He is too worn out for a clean delivery of it, one can tell he's "fighting". I won't even get into other songs of his, that's more for the usual hypers who always mention the same and don't even care for anything else.

It's not singing, but I HIGHLY recommend his podcast series that he's been recording at home. It's here on RUclips on his official channel (part of his "Quarantine Project" playlist). In each installment, he tells the story behind one of his albums, going in chronological order. His storytelling is honestly as good as his singing and screaming. He gives fascinating, reflective insights into his unique creative processes. It's fantastic.

You look extra beautiful today. Great insight and vocal critique. Devy Grace live from the Retinal Circus is amazing with Anneeka and Dey both intertwine in another epic song

Goosebumpcity.com - I'm always awash in goosebumps at the beginning and by the time he yells "life is beautiful!" I'm weeping. And to think Empath came after this .... Higher is brilliant but Empath takes it above and beyond

You're right, conducer's hair is quite epic!
By the way, please don't forget Anneke Van Giersbergen w/ The Gathering's "Eleanor" or "Strange Machines" at pinkpop 1996. She joined the band a year before and the very first metal album sang by a women was then released a year after, and Mandylion is simply a miracle. It opened the gates of a whole new genre in metal, directly inspired bands like Lacuna Coil, Nightwish for sure, After Forever, Epica etc... Anneke was young and already outstanding, but still would progress a lot. Yet I think it would be perfect to begin with her beginning! Then later I'll recommend "Travel" live from A Sound Relief dvd which is probably their most beautiful song and mesmerizing performance.

Devin Townsend has just the perfect voice for the orchestra and choir accompaniment. They amp his performance up from amazing to absolutely Homeric!
Of course, orchestra and choir does that for almost anyone, but only the best get that kind of treatment and he definitely deserves it.
You should get an orchestra and choir too. Can you just imagine? You'd have to change your name to Madame Rrrradiance or something and it would be perfectly sublime!

His voice is just magic! How you say it his range is amazing. Devin keeps on lurking on the side of Dream Theater at times. Well in a matter of pure voice performance, he would fit in any way.(on a side note you look terrific Rebecca).
