Miss B increased blood flow shouldn’t make your entire skin red and slightly puffy. You shouldn’t even be able to see increased blood flow unless you take your pulse. Her skin turned bright red, and she herself complained it was itchy. Increased blood flow shouldn’t do that too your body.
@@goguirina9178 as a massage therapist I disagreed. My hands go red after giving a massage and depending on the type of skin many peoples skin goes bright red too. Same as when you get dry needing done and blood rushes to the area. It's called flushing.
Miss B you can be itchy when exercising? I’ve never heard of that happening before, and it certainly hasn’t happened to me. Then again I am still young, but I do cross country on a regular basis and it has never happened to me
Enzymes don’t make the cells “work” an enzyme is a catalyst that speeds up a specific reaction in the body which means it only breaks down one specific molecule. And it also needs a VERY specific environment which means that if it is inside the body there’s no way it could survive outside the body and visversa. But don’t take my word do some research and don’t believe everything someone tells you
Enzymes can work outside the body you just need to provide a buffer for them (basically control the pH and provide any Co factors they need). Its not impossible that the enzymes are active in the mixture (although its unlikely). The question is, what they hell are they supposed to be catalysing?
This girl just had an ALLERGIC REACTION to this treatment 😂😂 but i gotta agree this girl is very professional when it comes to her work... i mean look at her she didn't even react once cuz she knows the camera is ON...
I’ve been in Topical Steroid Withdrawal for over two years and that’s what my skin all over my body looked like for months in the first year. Then it looked like that for months all over my face the second year. It’s been incredibly painful and debilitating, not to mention itchier than I ever felt when I had eczema. The mental and other physical symptoms that come along with TSW are sometimes more difficult to deal with than the skin symptoms. I can’t believe people would even temporarily let this happen to their skin, even though it’s different from TSW. Luckily her skin doesn’t seem to have been in any oozing or crazy flaking-for-years-stages like mine has, but damn, this treatment is still unsettling 😅
"The body doesn't utilize what it doesn't know", "Oxygen is healing", "it just gives you more enzymes"... there are some really questionable statements made here
For real. Oxygen is not healing, it's actually one of the main things that ages you. That's why people are constantly searching for antioxidants when it comes to fighting the signs of aging. If human beings breathed helium instead of oxygen we would all look 25 till the day we died.
@@sakuranovaryan9261 yep. Oxygen is pretty powerful source of energy. Our cells need it to create ATP. However it's an because of it's ability to release free radicals it wears down our cells overtime making it an extremely toxic gas. In fact, oxygen is so toxic not even humans can tolerate it fully. The air we breathe is only 21% oxygen. Environments with the higher than 30% start to tax the lungs and 100% pure oxygen is deadly to humans.
Every time I hear these estheticians talk about the products they are going to use, I'm sitting here like, uh no. "Vaporize the toxins from your skin"....total bs.
When you use besan flour/ chickpea flour/ gram flour, you get nearly the same effect. Add a bit of rice flour for exfoliating the skin.. wet face, apply the besan and rice flour paste, leave it on until it dries, wet it once again, scrub, wash away any residual paste.Don't forget to use a toner and moisturize after. You could add a pinch of turmeric too in the paste.. Love all the videos. Love from India 🇮🇳.
Honestly I don’t see much of a difference from the before and after but if I had to choose, then I would pick the before because her skin looked healthier then. Nice video! 👍
"Over here you can see my artery is starting to pulse. Which means there is increased blood flow and lymphatic flow through my body." Oh sweet lord. What fresh bullshit is this!!! Listening to this actually hurts me.
As someone who regularly suffers from allergic reactions, her red rashy skin looks exactly like I do whenever I have a reaction, and not cud of “increased blood flow” ???
"An enzyme is something that makes cells do their job" Hahahah sure, whatever, except for the fact that these enzymes are probably working on the collagen and other extracelular matrix compounds, not entering the cells, but OK, I guess I can't be sure. "The body only uses chemicals it recognizes" Yeah, well, that's not true. The body doesn't use enzymes. If they exist and have the substrates around, they'll do their job. "Over here you can see my artery is pulsing, which means bla bla bla increased blood flow" Seriously girl, this is some bs. "On the skin you can see dilated capilaries" It's impossible for you to see capilaries, so how could you see them dilating? Answer: you couldn't
Okay i died a little bit inside when she asked do our body naturally have Enzymes Like.... =____=… And then the jugular vein pulsating GIRL AT THAT ANGLE IT IS NORMALLY LIKE THAT !! sigh
The enzymes just basically obliterated the natural bacterial colony on her skin and the reason why it's soft afterwards is because of all the moisturizers afterwards. Edit: They know for blood to be oxygenated it needs to go though the lungs... O2 doesn't just magically diffuse though the skin.
i’m in honors biology at school and the fact that she made the lady explain what an enzyme is “incase people don’t know” shocked me a little. i thought everyone older than 14 knew.
Whenever anyone mentions 'toxins' to you - RUN THE OTHER WAY. There is no legitimate usage of this term in referring to 'specific stuff', and anyone with any medical education knows this or should know it. There's no such thing as a 'toxic' substance - we label things as 'toxic' because of the propensity of the contents as packaged to result in toxicity, not because of any inherent property of the substance. For instance, we'd label many ubiquitous food additives within their containers as 'toxic' because if you were to ingest mouthfuls of the additive formulation, there's a high likelihood that this would result in toxicity - however we would never label the food containing these additives as 'toxic', or as 'containing toxins' because there is no conceivable way to consume so much of the food so as to result in toxicity. Toxicity is entirely context dependent - taking into account the environment and quantities of stuff. Water toxicity can be fatal, but you rarely hear of water as being 'a toxin' - likewise when it comes to things that are extremely damaging to our bodies in fairly small amounts - things like oxygen and direct sunlight are near the top of this list. Oxygen is EXTREMELY dangerous and harmful as a chemical, one of the most reactive substances out there, and is one of the main causes of DNA damage and mutation. Sunlight is an almost unabashed negative, suppressing immune function and resulting in spectacular amounts of cellular damage, despite many people who use the language of 'toxins' viewing it fairly positively. No medically informed person would ever talk about 'toxins' as though they were a thing - if you hear people talking about this, RUN THE OTHER WAY... ideally towards a certified doctor who can refer you to some place better.
Lady: The detox is going to pull and vaporize toxins in your system, including any alcohol you’ve had. Kidney: .................................Am I a joke to you?....👀 Liver: I guess I’m just chopped liver.....😒

"promote oxygen throughout my body" Circulatory system "am I a joke to you?" Also what enzymes are actually used? apparently its supposed to do "reverse osmosis" on the skin but that would require running a current through the body. It claims to "remove dead proteins form the skin" first the upper layer of skin is all dead second proteins aren't alive, third there's a thing called a late endosome to get rid of old proteins. An "enzyme is a catalyst that gets the cells to work" christ, are you explaining this to a 5 year old?
I'm not completely sure if this is true but I was advised never to move your skin around while you have stiff masks like this or clay on. Since its rigid and cracks, you're actually causing tension/pulling on your skin which can cause wrinkles over time.

Yeah, I don't know what that explanation was supposed to be. A basic understanding of biology like is taught in high school should clue anybody in that a lot of the stuff in this is a load of bull. That and the "flushing of toxins" shit.
When the enzyme stuff dried she looked like a painting with old varnish on that's cracking off like crazy paving, really weird! But fascinating, and I like the way she presents, she isn't stuffy and her reactions are fun! Re enzymes, enzymes are found in foods like pineapple, called bromelain, which are good for digestion, and make a good skin peel, as they basically eat away the dead layers of skin on top. Normally skin sheds every 28 days anyway, but if you have dry or oily skin the process takes a longer or shorter time.
They wash their hands very well. It can feel awkward when someone is rubbing creams over your face with gloves on. It would be like massage therapist wearing gloves while giving you a massage.

@@goguirina9178 increased blood flow also causes itching. You never gotten itchy when doing exercise?
Miss B you can be itchy when exercising? I’ve never heard of that happening before, and it certainly hasn’t happened to me. Then again I am still young, but I do cross country on a regular basis and it has never happened to me
Enzymes don’t make the cells “work” an enzyme is a catalyst that speeds up a specific reaction in the body which means it only breaks down one specific molecule. And it also needs a VERY specific environment which means that if it is inside the body there’s no way it could survive outside the body and visversa. But don’t take my word do some research and don’t believe everything someone tells you
She did say catalyst
Exactly, I was wondering. So which enzymes are these?
Also, "works with the lymphatic system"
Like what? Do they even know what that system is? How is that related to shit you smear on your skin
Enzymes can work outside the body you just need to provide a buffer for them (basically control the pH and provide any Co factors they need). Its not impossible that the enzymes are active in the mixture (although its unlikely). The question is, what they hell are they supposed to be catalysing?

@@chelecovers6893 fr?
@@sakuranovaryan9261 yep. Oxygen is pretty powerful source of energy. Our cells need it to create ATP. However it's an because of it's ability to release free radicals it wears down our cells overtime making it an extremely toxic gas. In fact, oxygen is so toxic not even humans can tolerate it fully. The air we breathe is only 21% oxygen. Environments with the higher than 30% start to tax the lungs and 100% pure oxygen is deadly to humans.
This woman is so brave to try all of this treatments with a lot of patience.

I love the estheticians’ hair , that pink looks very pretty on her!

"An enzyme is something that makes cells do their job"
Hahahah sure, whatever, except for the fact that these enzymes are probably working on the collagen and other extracelular matrix compounds, not entering the cells, but OK, I guess I can't be sure.
"The body only uses chemicals it recognizes"
Yeah, well, that's not true. The body doesn't use enzymes. If they exist and have the substrates around, they'll do their job.

Thoroughly convinced neither of these people know what an "enzyme" is

No medically informed person would ever talk about 'toxins' as though they were a thing - if you hear people talking about this, RUN THE OTHER WAY... ideally towards a certified doctor who can refer you to some place better.
wrong.

How do educated adults not know that a human body has enzymes naturally? "promote oxygen throughout my body"
Circulatory system "am I a joke to you?"
Also what enzymes are actually used?
apparently its supposed to do "reverse osmosis" on the skin but that would require running a current through the body.
And when they takeoff the facemask I just think the sound is so satisfying
I'm not completely sure if this is true but I was advised never to move your skin around while you have stiff masks like this or clay on. Since its rigid and cracks, you're actually causing tension/pulling on your skin which can cause wrinkles over time.
Literally the only thing that changed was the money leaving her wallet

Enzymes reduce the energy level required to activate a chemical reaction. - as an ex bio chem Major...
I’m not a professional but aren’t estheticians suppose to use gloves?
Not if you have enzymes in you body
avadakeduhvra no unless they’re doing extractions or the skin starts to bleed
