I’ll be honest as far as PR goes, Noel and Liam have both now revived their solo careers and are doing well individually from completely different angles. Liam seems to focus on his story and comes across as intelligent, well spoken, humble, down to earth, and less confrontational. Whereas Liam just acts liked a drugged up, anxious, un articulate, sweaty and pissed off at everything. Each to their own I guess, just funny how their publicists must be locked in a Cold War, but they’re probably just like that anyway.
I mentioned this moment to my friend over a year ago and this Xmas he got me a black shirt that says 'I am the King of Tonga' on it - complete with golden crown.
@@abcxyz53 Didn't know that, didn't notice it, don't care about no surgeries. I don't see why he'd be a sellout, but opinions do change, Liam grew on me, but all I've seen of him showed me disinterest, a massive ego and/or mental issues and eyes of a hard core drug abuser, I've seen quite a few, you can't miss it. Still, don't mind either of them these days. Their lives, their problems, we all got them.
if you watch the full interview noel really dissrespected gerard butler over the oasis wonderwall song.look at gerard butlers face when he said what he said
Was that the former King who died some years ago? I know he was a very big man. I think his kingdom was smaller than our city back when he visited but he was really a royalty with an entourage et all.
Having just seen Liam, I am confident in saying that in the universe where Noel/Liam is a binary state, I'd be on Team Noel. Only in finite universes, of course.
I saw the whole show in another clip. When Noel first came out, Gerry mentioned something about Wonderwall being his song (there’s a video on line of him singing it as his birthday party). Noel said in his dry humor something like no mate that’s my song. Gerry didn’t take that too well.
Noel ( and Liam ) have the stereotypical clever wit of the Brits , born Rock ünd Roll stars in moi book . " History is his story , my story is a Mystery " - unknown
I really never new how short noel gallagher was, im only 6ft2 and a midget compared to my elder brothers who are all over 6ft6. somehow i thought he was very tall indeed
@leedickens100 everytime theres an interview with liam he always acts the rocker and swaggers around like he's god , noel seems down to earth and funny.
He was just zoning off not paying attention, then panicked when he realized he didn't get the first part of the story he's on camera sitting next to and will look like a fool. Ironically, he looks more silly pretending he knows what's happening. Kind of like my grandma with dementia.
"Noel Gallagher's visit from the US secret service " "Noel Gallagher tells a story about a visit from the CIA" Turns out it was the former, not the latter.
If Butler were a decent actor, he would know how to identify a king. It's one of the very handy devices you learn in theatre. High status is not identified by a crown, it's identified by the behaviour of the people who _aren't_ the king. The king walks on stage or into the shot and he could be wearing budgie smugglers a corndog in his gob, everyone will bow. Not just monarchs, any high status figure. Paulie Cicero in Goodfellas. Henry says what? Paulie doesn't move. Everyone else does.
His story is genuinely funny, but this is kinda offensive to me because I am a Pacific Islander and this feeds the common misconception of how the "western world", or "the 1st world civilizations", or "developed nations" view the people of the South Pacific, as indirectly inferior cultures. Yes we are not the most socially structured, or economically productive, or technologically advanced group of nations, but don't take advantage of us, cause we are many a times. This is an informative comment, prompted by thought.
I understand. However: mentioning that he probably watches too much Scooby Doo makes that the joke is on himself (not others) and his own childish ignorance. I think Noel is intelligent enough to realise that.
Relax cupcake. How this made me feel is definitely exaggerated, but this does happen often in unsatirical circumstances. Doesn't mean that every European has this kind of mentality.
@RepublicIcon Yeah the chemistry among the guests wasn't quite there. Mr. Butler was fairly friendly and affable but everyone else was pretty stand offish. Noel can be a bit abrasive and the Dr. Who chick looked like she wasn't having much fun alot of the time. You could see her just sitting looked bored for a good bit of the episode.
Noel is a great natural story teller.

Dylan Morgan you just said Liam for both mate
I'm guessing that you meant Noel first?
Dylan Morgan Don’t forget about their mum Liam in all of this! Oh, and the dad, and the other brother also called Liam!
Agreed. I could listen to him talk for hours (which is what I've been doing for 2 weeks now). Binge watching interviews of the brothers.
loved the way he said “is it Elton John?”
He's a lot funnier and more laid back than I would have imagined.
LeoGotHisOscar nothing like his idiot brother
Jake Deane his brother is even more laid back than him, mostly with fans
Everyone on this show is.
@v ace - OK Liam, I know it's you posted that comment.
Noel is a funny funny dude as is Liam.
Noel simply never fails to entertain ,got to be my #1" dinner guest" wish.
I mentioned this moment to my friend over a year ago and this Xmas he got me a black shirt that says 'I am the King of Tonga' on it - complete with golden crown.
Wow!! I bet the long winter evenings just fly by! ;)
The long winter evenings never fly by... unless everyone's called Ploppy. ;)
You have a great friend. You should give him lots of money; you are the king after all so you can afford it.
If Noel wasn’t a musical legend he’d be a cracking comedian.
I could listen to Noel all day
I love how Noel said “Oh yeah” like they didn’t ask him to tell this story ahead of time
I love Liam but I just think Noel is a much nicer person to talk too
He's not. He's just better infront of camera's.
😂
They probably get up in the morning and look at the mirror and say " I fu(£in hate you ya c@&t.
Noel is more articulate.

Noel is a legend and Karen Gillan is an absolute GODDESS...
fuckin' love noel. Tells it like it is :p
Is it Elton John?
the other guests look so awkward
Noel could probably make it as a comedian tbh :)
@Roughman Wrong on some many counts.
Liams even funnier
He tells a better story than Liam.
At least we understand when Noel talks?
That's cause he can speak English
I thought he'd have a grass skirt on 😂😂, at the beginning dropping the lyrics, I love LA, I love it 😉
He's so funny and gorgeous in this. "probably watch too much Scooby Doo"
Lmao at Noel's American accent
Genuinely surprised he could do one at all. I figured he was one of those Brits who couldn't do a generic American accent to save their lives.
Noel is way better understandable in his speech than Liam
Gerard Butler hating being outshone by Noel
Or maybe he just did not find him entertaining.
@Chris Healey
Probably a Liam fan. Important to take sides.
YouzTube99 he looked bored with Gallagher... much like many of the viewers
if you watch the full interview noel really dissrespected gerard butler over the oasis wonderwall song.look at gerard butlers face when he said what he said
I don’t think he disrespected him I’m sure Gerard knew he was just kidding
LMAO Gerard Butler got so triggered when he said about the grass skirt
he started laughing then stopped himself . So paranoid about being seen as racist.
@@gingerbill128 Pretty sad world innit
yeah he came across as so phoney and scared to be controversial. So fake
The king died on 18 March 2012 according to wikipedia.

Noel a legend!👍👍👍❤
That's gold. King of Tonga and Noel. lol
I could listen to him talk all day.
"He had a t-shirt on... One of those t-shirts"
Noel Gallagher should narrate e-books!
butler looks like he powdered his nose just before coming out
Thanks for posting.
1:47 Dat accent tho.
The Parker lookalike actually mentioned Thunderbirds!!
i want that T-shirt: "I'm the King o' Tonga"
Don't fergit yer grass skirt.
Nice Thunderbirds reference!
I love him. Noel Godllagher
Noel you are fabulous
I think Noel would make a great talk show host
Was that the former King who died some years ago? I know he was a very big man. I think his kingdom was smaller than our city back when he visited but he was really a royalty with an entourage et all.
Yes, what city are you in?
Yes, he would’ve been.
You gotta love Noel
Why is there a hairdryer on in background??
Noel Gallagher, Gerard Butler, Karren Gillan and Bilbo Baggins/Arthur Dent/Dr. Watson etc. WOW!
Brilliant lad..
I sort of feel none of the other guests like Noel.
Noel Gallagher & Martin Freeman♥!
my fucking dream come true!
huh, never realised how gorgeous noel is
Holy fuck 2 and a half minutes and I just realised he's sitting next to Leonidas.
Having just seen Liam, I am confident in saying that in the universe where Noel/Liam is a binary state, I'd be on Team Noel. Only in finite universes, of course.

C'mon man, they're the only two on the whole floor!
I’d never even heard of Tonga. When he said the ‘King of Tonga’ it sounded like some character from Lord of the Rings or Pixar or something!
wow
Noel ( and Liam ) have the stereotypical clever wit of the Brits , born Rock ünd Roll stars in moi book . " History is his story , my story is a Mystery " - unknown
legend!
I love listening to Him talki find him so funny
Noel steals this... sack the Butler, he’s obviously not happy. I hope he ironed Noel’s King of Tonga T shirt properly before he left
He comes off as likable and his brother always comes off as a total jerk.
Legend

Martin Freedman has an Oasis haircut

I miss this noel 😔
Never liked Oasis, but Noel seems a great guy!

Gerard Butler hate Noel? didn't seem to smile or laugh unless he was looking.
Noel is way a better person than Liam
noel is a much nicer bloke then liam
At this point, he should give standup a go.
He's better than Liam on Norton.
He was like the weirdo off the park bench..😆😆
That is *....... Hilarious

Is it Elton john? 😉
Imagine Liam telling this story...😎
I really never new how short noel gallagher was, im only 6ft2 and a midget compared to my elder brothers who are all over 6ft6. somehow i thought he was very tall indeed
Gerard Butler is 6’2” and he towered over Noel when they greeted each other.
@leedickens100 everytime theres an interview with liam he always acts the rocker and swaggers around like he's god , noel seems down to earth and funny.
ii laughed at the i'm a rockstar bit

Scooby Doo!
Was it Elton John?
Who is the girl on the couch?
Karen Gillan
Who was driving the car Noel?
rock and roll
The speed feature is so pointless
Am I getting the impression the other guests don't like Noel very much?
I don't think Noel cares lol
👏
Why does he look like he should be in gta 3
Bradley Cooper looks well.
Butler looked so uncomfortable with another alpha male holding court.
Yeah I noticed that...Gerry is a right numpty.😆

Gillan just looked lost.😉
