NG’s status as a modern legend is indisputable because he speaks his mind every time. And he’s hilarious. And he wrote some of the best music of the last 30 years.

Speaking ones mind doesn’t make one a legend unless what you say is of some value. What is of value is subjective and dependent on context. To your question if everyone in society did that, which presupposes people may not be doing it now, it would be no different to the present as anyone’s opinion is subjectively as useful or useless as the next person’s opinion. Think about that.
I’m not a fan of his music but he is pretty funny and a great interview.

Yeah he was on some programme last year/year before saying that- I was gutted. It’s my fave song off the album. Sounds strange but it actually reminds me of the Wembley gig in 2000 when I went on the Friday and they didn’t even play it! I think it’s the copious amounts of boozing I did to that album.

Sometimes I really feel sorry for Liam. Noel was the soul of Oasis but Liam was definitely the body. Everybody wants them together but it would not be ok, both of them know this. We need to understand that being in a giant rock band, you NEED to live together with the band-mates while touring and that's very stressful.
Noel is smart enough to recognize this is not HEALTHY. Why do you guys think he wrote a song called WHAT A LIFE when he had just left the band?
Liam misses the recognition he had from old times, while Noel seems to give a f*** to that. He's happy doing his stuff.
Noel certainly has a much wider view of people, music and the whole world while Liam is very much focused on himself. He really deserved to be in a top band for the musician he is.
But to organize ONE Oasis concert in every year would not be to ask to much for both. I would definitely be there at least virtually. These guys made history.
liam would love to restart oasis again, however noel wouldn’t. noel doesn’t need the money, nor does he need the recognition, noel’s had his own album out for 10 years which he wrote, himself, and liam’s just started his journey - and he hasn’t written any songs or played any instrument in any song. i don’t feel bad for liam, for that exact reason.

Just thinking about that, isn't it weird that countries such as Ireland can have a distinct look? It's right next to GB but their inhabitants are definitely (maybe) distinguishable from the Welsh, Scottish and English.
It's the same with other European countries as well. Someone can look French, German or Polish, even though they're right next to each other.
We're lead to believe that we evolved from the same species, and that habitat/environment/climate has formed the differences in our physical appearance. But it's clearly much more than that.
