Fun fact, Liam was in Glasgow and went to a shop called Strung Out, the shop sells peoples musical stuff. So my dad had Ibanez CP-9 Compressor pedal on sale there. Liam seen it and wanted it but didn't have enough time to get back to his hotel as he was due to rehearse. But he came back the following morning and bought it. By this time my dad was aware of what happened the previous day and my dad made sure he was in there that following morning. Liam arrived with one of his guitar techs and some other guy and bought the pedal and another guitar which my dad can't recall what or who it's belongs but Liam was amazed at how such a good pedal was on sale. He thanked my dad personally for selling it even though my dad didn't actually physically sell it lol but they shook hands and off he went. To this day he still I believe has this pedal on some of his gigs.
