Did I watch this clip wrong? All I'm seeing is John Cleese providing his classic brand of humor (which I LOVE), and Taylor Swift being either a fairly good sport or a pretty durn good straight "man." That's it; the end; moving on to the next clip!
The Mind Of B it's called joking around
krnstrong read The Mind Of B's comment again. This person wasn't bashing. They know it was joking around. The comment is short & sweet and right on target.
The Mind Of B I don't get it either. All I see is a clueless little brat
RR C We all got that you have spammed the comment section with the same comment, geez. Get a life
I have a life, and a wonderful and amusing one at that. Apparently the millions of Zombies that have glommed on to this minuscule episode, of which she has no clue who she is sitting next to, is why I continue to remind everyone that she is a clueless brat. Untalented to say the least, a voice range of a hermit crab, and the personality of an Aunt who passed away 4 years ago to the month. The young lady in question reminds me of the dead portion of my Aunt, in case you were wondering. God rest her soul. Taylor's, that is.
"Ooh we don't wanna do that".. perfect comeback 😊
this is friggin hilarious!! “is that a proper cat?” 🤣🤣
@3:03 Cleese leans over after her response "Oh we don't want to do that", and says "you are really " and she replies "Thank you", I can't turn my headphones up high enough to figure it out, plus the audience cheering.
You are really funny. (You're welcome)
I think it's "You are really cute."
"How did it have the accident?"
John Cleese: When the joke teller is just too sharp for the audience.
Can u explain i didn't get it
Let’s not kid ourselves it was an iffy set up. It’s one of those setups that feels too real.
He shoulda just started with the next line
@@harrambou9468 Imagine being stupid enough to believe that these interviews are completely scripted - well, you don't need to imagine but my point still stands.
2:48 you don't wanna do that
That was best couch on show..
Three different personalities from different fields...
"The one on the left .. that's my wife."
🤣🤣🤣
Why is everyone complaining about John Cleese's comment about women. Its just a bit of banter
ikr even taylor was knew it was a joke
And yet none of them complain about her comments on men.
because they can that's women for you any excuse to make people look bad to look good they on it
Yeah, it was honestly just a joke.
The way to go about this is when someone ridiculously jokes on you, you come up with a more ridiculous joke. That way you wont seem salty
Taylor just sitting there innocently listening to her cats being shamed😂
The collab we never wanted but never knew we needed. These 2 had such great chemistry! Witty and funny! Cleese is a god in all aspects. Such a great person.
Just when you think Taylor has no sense of humor she comes back with a zinger "Oh we don't wanna do that" that was cute.
This is one of the best episode of the show. Humours flying around.
My favourite part starts at 1:26 when Taylor moves over and enters the comfort zone of John. He then moves over until he sits only on one cheek.
It's so funny seeing the difference in the comments on this channel and those on the exact same clip on the BBC America version of this channel. Over there all the comments are about Cleese's "sexist comments" and here it's all about Swift's "dumbness".
I don't really have a position on this. Having now seen then show in its entirety I thought it was one of the best Norton shows in recent times. It all seemed to mesh. I just find the difference in reactions to this clip very interesting.
oh god bless taylor 😍😍😍 I fell in love with her for her sassiness, she's amazing 👏👍
Taylor Swift humor is great. This woman is incredible.
Great Show here!! That comparison of John's and Taylor's cat is hilarious. Cute cute cute both of them.
Still surprised he did not recognize a Scottish fold cat.
"Oh we don't wanna do that, imma write a song about it!" XD
ooh you dont want to do that! xD i love you taylor
I'm surprised Swift didn't release an anti Cleese song.
CrazyWedz if he would have went further she should have
Jarlin Castro her new album! surprise surprise!
Honestely seemed to me like they got along quite brilliantly.
CrazyWedz Wow how original! Well done you!
@@AndersRDH seriously?
So Norton just got together the weirdest combination of stars he could have on a show..
Is that a proper cat? That is a classic line there. Love how she just roled with it.
Why are people so confused by her sense of humour and calling her stupid? She just has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humour, she's not stupid. If you watch her more serious interviews she actually is very wise.
0:22 ur words became reality in 2019 Graham.. well done.
I love this. She even looks and moves like a cat in this.
All three were gracious guests!
I will never get tired of watching this
When Taylor scoots towards you... ugh
She looks amazing!
I usually don't like weird cats like that but that one is really cute
Not that I wasn't already a John Cleese fan, but he just went up several levels of respectability in my opinion.
What a great interaction and body language too. I see no harm here just three individuals standing their ground and having fun with it.
When she puts her hands up like paws when he mentions cats, is just adorable.
"Is that a proper cat?" Hilarious!
Aww I feel sorry for Taylor, most Americans don't normally understand our harsher humor, she probably thought she was actually being made fun of on TV. While in actuality John was simply joking.
I was just thinking the same thing but, she'll get it or someone will tell her next time lol
Please, Clesse's humor is so dated and far from original. The grumpy act has been used for decades, he's got nothing on people like Rodney Dangerfield or Doug Stanhope...alas the brits always think what they do is unique.
CowLunch Read again...and try and use some comprehension skills, Sally
Hector Ayala Ah I shouldn't have used the word epitome. You said the grumpy act was dated and unoriginal, and then cite Doug Stanhope but he is a grumpy act too. I have not heard of Rodney Dangerfield, will have to check him out. I guess you win this one, Margaret.
Rodney Dangerfield died a couple of years ago. One of the funniest stand-ups around. You should check him out on RUclips, especially his appearances on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson.
I don't know if I've ever seen anyone look as uncomfortable as Taylor Swift does sat there on that sofa.
+BjorkVee I can't decide if it's discomfort or straight up dislike of Cleese. Either way, it's palpable.
How can people dislike John Cleese? :o
+BjorkVee she cant relax
with a skirt so short..or that or she would show her panties.
Can’t cope when everyone isn’t fawning over her. She’s too precious for her own good.
Graham's reaction at 0:38 tells you everything, that's js just dry British humour.. love it
"Is that a proper cat?"
hilarious!
"oh no you don't wanna do that" OMG I JUST DIED
like how can someone have such a sweet voice? 😃
@@hezzajm She did die, I went to the funeral. I don't know whose idea it was to have clowns to lower the coffin to the ground, one of them slipped and fell into the pit. Well, at least she wasn't buried alone, she'll have Mr. Bojoing to keep her company for all of eternity. Catering was top notch, though.
Why she's telling we don't wanna do that???please explainn
Gyrbae thanks from the grave, glad u had a good time. Food is a must.
Palani Ammal compare women with cats, as they are "unpredictable and..."
when she said " ooh we don't wanna do that" i think Graham Norton when meow or rawr or some claw movement
John Cleese, just for what you did here, you're my hero !!!! I can't stop laughing
i loved both his comment and her reaction xD it was perfect!
Enjoyed her response to John Cleese, believe it was off the top of her head.
No John, you don’t want to do that !
