Monster Whitetail Shed Hunting and Finding! 2024 E3 British Columbia, Canada

One of those epic shed hunting days! Monster whitetail sheds and a fantastic day spent hiking with the Guster. Nothing better than matching up Antlers and bringing a story full circle.. That fresh, heavy 4 -point is a beautiful shed. What great brow tine on that buck. Also really impressive that you were able to find a match on that year old shed with the split G2.

The first set is definitely a match, no question. the easiest way to tell if its a match is if it has a similar base, same colour, and same, detail

Thoughts on the two sets I show at the end? The big basket set is an obvious match, but what about the 2 year old and the fresh one I found this year? Weigh in...

Second set is definite match. First set really has some striking similarities. Possible match. Wonder if it could even be the same deer, but two different years? The G3 + G4 of the one and the G4 + G5 of the other one are very similar. Given that all the tines are pretty long and not just a small G5 kicker on the one makes me want to lean toward same buck but two different year - I’m no expert however hehe

I agree the freshie and the two year old are not a sure thing slam dunk, but I am leaning same deer for now. Will need to get some trail cam footage or more sheds to know for sure! Thanks for response!
