Saw Eric play when he was with the Oshawa Generals and came to my hometown Sudbury to play the Wolves. Got him to sign his "Score" "Future Superstar" hockey card. Sports card collecting was huge when I was a kid.
He was such a dominant player and fun to watch. When hockey was hockey!!

Eric was a machine and great to watch. The sure strength he played with awesome. I liked the more physical play when Canada would hit hard and make you second guess touching the puck was a useful tool. Now they want to be too fancy. Eric has a place 10 minutes down the road from where I live and I’d love to go see him and tell home how much I loved watching him play and of course get his signature on a few things. Eric has good insight on how the game should be played at a JR level and he’s smart not to say too much to be polite.
88 is a Great player and has great insight and could help team Canada 🇨🇦 turn things around next year. Just saying

"First, based on the results of psychopathy and sadism, we understand the internet troll as someone who is callous, lacks a sense of personal responsibility and enjoys causing others harm. The significance of psychopathy in the results also indicates trolls have an empathy deficit, particularly when it comes to their ability to experience and internalise other people’s emotions. On top of this, the interaction between high sadism and high self-esteem suggests trolls are not trolling because they have low self-worth. In fact, this is quite the opposite. The more someone enjoys hurting others and the better they feel about themselves, the more likely they are to troll."
Have a great day, and God Bless you, Friend. I hope things get better.

Eric nailed what’s been missing with our past couple World Junior Teams in the first minute of the interview.
I to believe we have got away from our Canadian bread and butter style of physical hockey and have adopted a more European approach with primary focus on skill alone. I think it’s time Hockey Canada 🇨🇦 get back to its roots and try a more traditional approach next year. I understand it’s tough when it comes to refereeing and the calls in this tournament but at this point what do we have to lose. Maybe Eric L could help assemble the team next year ? 😊

Sad state of affairs when Eric Lindros bites his tongue and reserves his thoughts about Team Canada, and then makes mention of the politics in the GTHL. He should have a prominent role in Canadian youth and Junior hockey. Instead, he has to tread lightly for fear of reprisal on his kids.

Lindros could never play today's game.He was awful at stick handling and had no vision to find his teammates since he had to skate with his head down. He was fast once he got going but His acceleration was horrible today's game is all about stops and starts while controlling the puck and being able to view the whole ice at all times!

I don't know. It's hard to say. Lindros was incredibly dominant his first 5 or 6 years. Despite close checking and playing in the Dead Puck Era he still got a lot of points per game and he was the first huge mofo to also have the skill and finesse of a small guy.
I like the game now but I loved the game back then. I miss players like Theo Fleury, Jeremy Roenick and Eric Lindros.
