I have followed GXV since Mike and Rene Van Pelt founded the company. They first built a GXV on a Mercedes Unimog that they used to travel South America, they had a blog about that trip which I can no longer find. The GXV Next is a vastly superior vehicle to the Hilt when you factor in the craftsmanship that the folks do at the original factory in Springfield, Mo.
It's nice to see competition in this category with Truckhouse, Adrenilin and Hilt taking a chomp out of Earthroamer. Hopefully it'll drive price competition because most of them are 10-15% overpriced IMO
I like these guys. Following them since the beginning. When they got excited about this rig, it was like describing a sexy broad. And when she takes off her pants, there’s a different member there. That’s what they did to us when they told us the price.
😅 unfortunately the chassis alone is above 80K these days...I really wish the prices on all these rigs were lower, however we're dealing with higher prices on everything now!

His truck is bigger than yours. Just sayin’. 😂 (ducking) Minor point, but the window blinds need to be swapped, screen at the top, blackout at the bottom, you want to limit the view in, and enable you to see out.

It would be great for camping off grid. I like it. Wish it had a skylight over the bed.

The windows are actually double pane glass. We are one of the only manufacturers right now using double pane insulated windows
