And Kenzie is better than him socially, someone like that is not what you want to take to the finals, people gotta understand, you can be strategic and physical all you want but Survivor is literally a game around connections, bonds, and literally a entire social experience. I remember one RUclipsr predicted Cassidy would be a gamebot and overplay... and in a weird way, she kinda did! But look who won as "WTF" casts on returnee seasons, and I don't mean Amber. Parvati is considered the GOAT by many, but Sarah also played fantastically IMHO. If they could become legends on their second play, who knows what legends can come out after a bland or even embarrassing first play (you could also include Wentworth, who didn't win but became a legend, but I saw sparks in her after her very first Tribal where Drew went home)
Survivor is a lot of things, but it’s a social game at its core and this vote proves it. She literally said “yea I didn’t drive a vote” and she STILL won. And I don’t mean that as an insult. You have to be wary of the likable people. I’m just glad with 90min episodes I feel we finally got a season that showcases that kind of win because they had the time to show the subtler moments and those relationships where this moment didn’t feel like a shock like it so often does.
I would say both Kenzie and Charlie are deserving winners; I like Kenzie more, though. I don’t like how her alliance treated Jess; other than that, I’m really happy that Kenzie won!
Love how being left out of votes and her openly admitting that she lacked agency and just went with other people’s plans is playing the better game. Alright I got to talk about a lot in this one comment about the finale so let’s go. First is Maria, and if her not voting Charlie and her reasoning for it don’t explain why I don’t like her then Idk what will. Now granted for Kenzie’s sake I’m happy she voted that way, but you have to feel how bad Charlie must have felt in his shoes. Kenzie played a great game but lacked strategic agency at just about every turn. Despite having strong social bonds she was never able to fully utilize them to actually make gameplay moves. She’s almost like Gabler or Michelle but with a much better edit. With all that being said, the show also made it abundantly clear why Charlie lost (besides a salty Maria lol). As he himself says, he controlled the game from to deep in the shadows. Despite having a strategic stranglehold over the game, he did so under the radar which while incredibly impressive, is also incredibly difficult to articulate and prove to jury who could not see him working behind the scenes. He intentionally gave off the impression of being Maria’s number two and then wasn’t able to convince multiple jury members that he was more than this facade he created, essentially turning a false perception into a false reality. He did to much under the radar and was not public enough about his game, so much so that he was ultimately unable to convince the jury that he played the game that we saw him play
Kenzie looks so cute with her glasses and I happy for her that she takes the win. In the other hand, I feel so sad for Charlie I really think he’s deserved to win this too and it’s sucks that Maria doesn’t vote for him…😢

I cheered so hard. This is the very first time that my winner pick/favorite player of a season has won Survivor. Kenzie definitely deserves this win because she is one of the sweetest and most charismatic players to ever play which really helped her social game. Also, after being an underdog on Yanu, she fought hard to make it here and that’s why she won just like Natalie from Samoa and Michele from Kaoh Rong. She was also very memorable this season because she had so many cool looks at tribal council. With this amazing mermaid dragon taking this prize home to a Queen City, she has a great future to look forward to and she can live happily Ever Ever After just like Giselle. 💜💜💜💜💜🧜♀️🐉
She played a decent game but let’s be honest, Charlie played the better game and was seen as more of a threat. The season that Natalie white won the jury was bitter towards Russell hantz for good reason but this jury had no reason not to vote Charlie, especially Maria.
I don't want to discredit Kenzie for her win because I liked her from the beginning and she was my winner pick from episode 1. BUT, Maria is a disgusting human being. She only is happy when things go her way, and she was so obviously bitter toward Charlie that he successfully voted her out after she failed to do so and was exposed. Even when she knew she was going home (so it was no longer about strategy but just a heart-to-heart), she tells Charlie he has her jury vote no matter what as a way to appease him. But, to change her vote because it was just so admirable to beat Liz, the lady who said she couldn't make fire to save her life, is just ridiculous. If she is teaching her kids that it's ok to backstab a friend WHEN IT'S NOT EVEN STRATEGY ABOUT THE GAME, she did a great job. She is a poor example to her kids, and I hope to never see her on another show on my TV ever again. Charlie would have won if Maria wasn't bitter. When Jeff asked who voted for Charlie and he happily turned right away to Maria to see her hand still down, you could see the pain in his face--he was so hurt that someone who called him "Uncle Charlie" could cost him $1M. She was a ridiculously high opinion of herself, and I am so glad she was voted out to the point I was jumping up and down cheering. Still a top 10 season nonetheless, but wow was she just a bitch for that.

I’m pissed off that Charlie Davis narrowly lost the title of Sole survivor and the million dollars to Kenzie Petty in Survivor 46. It was a 5-3 vote at the end. This is all Ben Katzman’s fault, he won the final immunity challenge, he literally did everything wrong from that point on, he valued his friendship with Charlie more and took him with him to the final 3 and forced Liz Wilcox to compete against Kenzie in the fire making challenge but Liz lost. Ben should’ve remembered that Liz was allergic to so many foods like coconut on the island so she was not as fit as Kenzie, Ben or Charlie to compete in firemaking. Ben also should’ve remembered how both Charlie and Kenzie were both threats to win the game. He should’ve put both of them in the fire making challenge instead, if he did that, then only one of those contestants would have reached the final 3. That’s pretty much why Ben was cast aside receiving 0 votes from the jury. He ruined his own chances of winning, and he ruined Charlie’s chances of winning. He let everyone down, not just Survivor fans but Taylor Swift fans as well! Kenzie played a great game but lacked strategic agency at just about every turn. Despite having strong social bonds she was never able to fully utilize them to actually make gameplay moves. She’s almost like Gabler or Michelle but with a much better edit.
With all that being said, the show also made it abundantly clear why Charlie lost (besides a salty Maria lol). As he himself says, he controlled the game from to deep in the shadows. Despite having a strategic stranglehold over the game, he did so under the radar which while incredibly impressive, is also incredibly difficult to articulate and prove to jury who could not see him working behind the scenes. He intentionally gave off the impression of being Maria’s number two and then wasn’t able to convince multiple jury members that he was more than this facade he created, essentially turning a false perception into a false reality. He did to much under the radar and was not public enough about his game, so much so that he was ultimately unable to convince the jury that he played the game that we saw him play

I cheered so hard. This is the very first time that my winner pick/favorite player of a season has won Survivor. Kenzie definitely deserves this win because she is one of the sweetest and most charismatic players to ever play which really helped her social game. Also, after being an underdog on Yanu, she fought hard to make it here and that’s why she won just like Natalie from Samoa and Michele from Kaoh Rong. She was also very memorable this season because she had so many cool looks at tribal council. With this amazing mermaid dragon taking this prize home to a Queen City, she has a great future to look forward to and she can live happily Ever Ever After just like Giselle. 💜💜💜💜💜🧜♀️🐉
She played a decent game but let’s be honest, Charlie played the better game and was seen as more of a threat.
The season that Natalie white won the jury was bitter towards Russell hantz for good reason but this jury had no reason not to vote Charlie, especially Maria.

I don't want to discredit Kenzie for her win because I liked her from the beginning and she was my winner pick from episode 1. BUT, Maria is a disgusting human being. She only is happy when things go her way, and she was so obviously bitter toward Charlie that he successfully voted her out after she failed to do so and was exposed. Even when she knew she was going home (so it was no longer about strategy but just a heart-to-heart), she tells Charlie he has her jury vote no matter what as a way to appease him. But, to change her vote because it was just so admirable to beat Liz, the lady who said she couldn't make fire to save her life, is just ridiculous. If she is teaching her kids that it's ok to backstab a friend WHEN IT'S NOT EVEN STRATEGY ABOUT THE GAME, she did a great job. She is a poor example to her kids, and I hope to never see her on another show on my TV ever again. Charlie would have won if Maria wasn't bitter.
When Jeff asked who voted for Charlie and he happily turned right away to Maria to see her hand still down, you could see the pain in his face--he was so hurt that someone who called him "Uncle Charlie" could cost him $1M. She was a ridiculously high opinion of herself, and I am so glad she was voted out to the point I was jumping up and down cheering. Still a top 10 season nonetheless, but wow was she just a bitch for that.

I’m pissed off that Charlie Davis narrowly lost the title of Sole survivor and the million dollars to Kenzie Petty in Survivor 46. It was a 5-3 vote at the end. This is all Ben Katzman’s fault, he won the final immunity challenge, he literally did everything wrong from that point on, he valued his friendship with Charlie more and took him with him to the final 3 and forced Liz Wilcox to compete against Kenzie in the fire making challenge but Liz lost. Ben should’ve remembered that Liz was allergic to so many foods like coconut on the island so she was not as fit as Kenzie, Ben or Charlie to compete in firemaking. Ben also should’ve remembered how both Charlie and Kenzie were both threats to win the game. He should’ve put both of them in the fire making challenge instead, if he did that, then only one of those contestants would have reached the final 3. That’s pretty much why Ben was cast aside receiving 0 votes from the jury. He ruined his own chances of winning, and he ruined Charlie’s chances of winning. He let everyone down, not just Survivor fans but Taylor Swift fans as well!
As for me, I had this whole elaborate plan of throwing a Taylor Swift themed celebration if Charlie won the game since he’s a huge self-proclaimed fan of hers. Worst season I think ever. Charlie and Maria were the only two in this finale who actually played a good game. I don’t wanna hear shit about the jury voting based off gameplay when Charlie clearly and accurately outlined his very high level gameplay, and Kenzie gets brought into votes.

Disagree. Kenzie i think is a better winner because she has good social game. Charlie only relied on maria ALONE which is a bad game. He just opened up to others when maria is about to get him out. Kenzie planted seeds since the merge and it bloomed
