I think the same, and I also think that there will be other baby's that were murdered by Lucy just as with Dr Harold Shipman they think his number of murdered victims was at very least 400+ so next time a doctor or a nurse says ...trust me I'm a nurse or trust me I'm a doctor 😳 alarm bells will be ringing in my head

@@IcarusLhooq-bc7uq totally agree, there will more than likely quite a few that have got clean off Scott free and gone totally un-noticed for the most intelligent knows that hiding in plain sight is the best cover they can have as long as they don't think they are to clever and put themselves at the centre of attention at the forefront shouting I'm here I'm here, then many will slip the net faded in the background the quiet ones the silent types that never say boo to a goose, yes it's almost certain to have happened before and more than once and in different jobs in the medical field just look how long Harold Shipman got away with it, he was only caught really through greed, trust me I'm a doctor trust me I'm a nurse, trust me I'm a policeman and so on and so on ...and we do trust these kinds of people because we never think there could be anything wrong with someone in a job that society's trust, but the trust levels are now declining fast I feel, but if we can't trust people in those jobs who can we trust, it's a case of we have to go on putting our trust into these people ( with a little caution) let's not forget there are only a few rotten apples on a good apple tree ✝️🛐❤️🫂🤝🫂

Rose, there are many very sick people that work in many "help" industries. Too many sociopaths or psychopaths to count. The inability to feel emotion, to feel empathy for others, to care what others feel when they harm another human being. They can often MIMIC human emotion, and do it well, but not actually and truly being able to FEEL said emotions ... that is a dangerous person who, unfortunately, is beyond our help with the science we have today. I'm not sure they should ever be allowed back into society.
The human mind can be a frightening and unknown place in many instances. I hope that science, one day, can "fix" or "cure" these types of people. Until that time, we have to protect the people from folks like this woman.

For reasons of economy they took away the position of Matron in hospitals, replaced them with managers who have little of no medical knowledge , just know how to save more money to cover their inflated salaries. Matrons were strict but mostly caring people to patients and staff, they would have recognised so many deaths around one person so much quicker. Now management by distance.

This is a very good comment. The matron knew each nurse at such a personal level that they could define their abilities and capabilities. If there was a red flag emerging, they could analyse it, yet protect, and direct the individual. It is such a loss that these role models were removed.

People start noticing everyone dies only when so and so is working. Once it’s basically known they just let them move on to the next hospital. No one wants those lawsuits. It’s horrendous. Also never mind a psychotic nurse or dr trying to kill you your chances of straight up stupidity being what kills you in a hospital are very high! I’m pretty sure the third leading cause of death in hospital is human error. Yeah ! I may be off on on exactly how far up the list it is but yes human error. The scary thing is; we are surrounded by serial killers all the time. It could be your next door neighbour, the local post worker, a teacher, a doctor, a care home assistant etc. It could be ANYONE and they often get away with it for years before being found out. Most never get caught. Terrifying 😮

I did not working with children as a nurse. I was somehow timid and scared to do all the mean stuff to them we nurses have to do. I passed my clinicals with flying colors but i told my instructor honestly. It wasnt a dislike of children at all as i has 4 of my own. I was just scatterbrained and timid and nervous.

It's a pity there were shabby errors in the presentation. The narrator refers to Allitt's 'hypochondria' (extreme anxiety about having a disease or developing one). Allitt was not a hypochondriac, she was diagnosed with Munchausen syndrome by proxy, which is entirely different. She also refers to 'psychotic' behaviour in a way that suggests it's just being used as a synonym for 'mad'. The narrator also says 'grievious' more than once. There's no such word: it's 'grievous'.

She had/has Munchausen's syndrome (faking illness in yourself) and Munchausen syndrome by proxy (faking or inducing real illness in those in your charge).Hypochondria does not involve any faking. It's a highly distressing anxiety disorder, in which people truly believe their lives could be at risk of disease or death, despite the absence of evidence of a serious disease or the risk of developing one (my mother suffers from it, and, as a psychotherapist, I treat people with it). Anxiety and fear are alien to Allitt, who, despite her monstrous crimes, slept perfectly well throughout this horror story (and presumably still does), indifferent as she is to the victims of her terrible crimes. @@jenny2tone242

It takes a person to study for months to the go to take that exam. Only the best get to filled the position. Hence the calibre of medical staff in that country. I was surprised when I moved to the uk that you can apply to any NHS job like any other job in the private sector.

Its not more difficult to work out why women kill. It's all the same stuff, abuse, narcissism, anger etc. The guy at the beginning who says there was never an incident of nurses killing children is doing a disservice because there are many instances of female serial killers in history, and no doubt societies ignorance about lady killers has allowed many to get away by never being identified and caught.
